@maxwesty I disagree. Elgort is facing the consequences of his actions, but like many other esteemed Hollywood actors, his allegations will blow over and be forgotten, paving the way towards his redemption and refined public image. This is not only an observation but, in my opinion, what each and every one of us deserve if we strive to become a better person: a second chance! Because who hasn't made a mistake they regretted? I'm not absolving Elgort of his actions, but if he is willing to repent then I am willing to accept him because I have also made mistakes in my life (and definitely not in the same way but similarly in that we are both human). Largely, I think that most people need to stop focusing on singular bad moments and try to maintain perspective. At the same time, the issues that women have taken with Elgort need to be listened to and believed -- highlighting bad behavior such as Elgort's will help dissolve and/or prevent similar occurrences in the future. As an aside, I loved this film and feel that Mike Faist and Ariana DeBose stole the show 😈
Thank you, Mr Spielberg. We will be eternally grateful to you

@@ericsteyart7723 precisely. He's a predator, but much like James Franco, Jared Leto and many others, it'll blow over and he'll keep his career.
Man, some musicals don't have one good movie adaptation, and West Side Story has TWO!!
Goosebumps. Everywhere. CANT WAIT!!
I know the only character I could be is a background Jet, but I don’t even care, this show is so good. I wanna be in it just to sing this song!
This sounds like a terribly tricky song to sing sheesh, kudos to the cast members
I love the way they all say tonight🥰
Honestly, I think the tonight quintet is probably one of the best sequences ever to see the stage or screen
Fantastique 💖 💖 💖 les 3 versions sont formidables
...
riff/mike faist is the hottest man alive. square up if you disagree

Could not agree more! Finally, someone agrees 👍 🙌
@@mhiaevans great opinion
@@nolaxyz yes
It’s just not quite the same without one random Jet accidentally saying “way” instead of “day” in that very first line like in the 1961 film haha

Who sang lead song for rockets tonight!
All the lyrics are same as 1961 except for 1:16
Omg the auto tune at 2:35 is fucking hilarious
Either that or his vibrato sounds extreme.
why did they do it they ruined the song :(((((((((((
Huh?
I can't hear it, but it's not on Mike Faist. That sounds like his natural voice to me
I think it’s just an extreme voice. I don’t think that’s auto tuned, otherwise it would sound a lot more adjusted.
