Best mod ive done on 85 F150.. D.U.I distributor with MSD plug leads.. I bought the set that could be cut to length.. Engine bay now looks super tidy.. And I could tell the difference with the D.U.I distributor and leads.. I have the Holley Sniper EFI and needed a HEI type distributor.. The original one I got with the crate motor from Summit lasted one year and 6 days before breaking.. And Summit told me "warranty is up.. Tough".. Can't recommend DUI or MSD enough
I have found that you need to aware of the boot angle at the plug. Especially on the #8 cylinder. The shift linkage on the auto can and will interfere.
Question - so with my fitech and the constant issues with tach interruption, the wires could be the culprit? But if it was running fine and then started having trouble, could the wires have gone bad? Spiral wound low resistance wires sound to be key.
Great video and timely too! I just purchased wires and plugs for my 76 Bronco today. I’m in the process of getting it ready to pass state inspection.
Ah yeah!

That’s so true. Good point
MSD is the way to go I love them also!
Ford Racing are best for price but I measured them for 1000ohm/feet but great anyway
Wow! 1000 ohm?! That’s crazy. I should test mine
Nashville Early Bronco Yea my China Ohm meter could be wrong and it was not new wires so it might be off
Cool vid and info. Tx!
You bet!
What are you using for a coil?

It’s a possibility. Definitely something to check, but there are A LOT of other things to check with that FiTech
I'm doing a frame off restoration on my bronco. Hit me up if your interested in anything
