- I have begun activities to regenerate trees that have been cut down for various reasons.
All the logs I use are scraps.
In most cases, collect the cuttable pieces and give them to a recycler.
The video shows a scene making a yellow goblet from a tree branch.
Very advanced design work has been completed, so I'm glad to see it to the end!

This is wonderful. I loved watching the light get brighter and brighter and I got more and more nervous as it did. Great work.
Thank you for your comment as always!🙇🇯🇵 There are few people who make thin works, so I will try to master it. However, it is reinforced with paint and is also practical. The video released at the end of this month will be my most delicate work. looking forward to.
That is a beautiful goblet. You turned it so thin it's almost as thin as glass. I love the finish. 👏👏

I plan to make a work with a large bowl and a thin stem that will surprise people all over the world.
The next video will be posted in about 4 days. looking forward to.

A beautiful piece with a super honey colour , more of a chalice than a goblet though. The re-profiled scraper does a lovely job on the initial hollowing too. Many thanks for brightening a grey and wet morning.
Thank you for your comment! I am very happy to hear that.🙇🇯🇵

あの松ぼっくりから綺麗な模様の陶器みたい壺ができていいですね🙆
コメントありがとうございます!🙇別の動画の事だと思いますが嬉しいです。
The cup is beautiful, but will you make it out of fresh wood, will it crack later?
Thank you for your comment!🙇🇯🇵 If you finish it all at once, it will not crack. There is a risk of cracking if the thickness is 1 cm or more. Uses a paint that cures in response to moisture. Made in Japan, it is a safe product for eating and drinking.

Beautiful!!! I like your workmanship very much, but I also admire the way you film the process. It often looks as if the camera is where you are, and I sometimes wonder how you and the camera can be in the same place at the same time. Very nice.
Thank you for your comment!!🙇🇯🇵
It was my first time to comment on the position of the camera! I am concerned about the position of the camera. The camera is installed in a place that is very disturbing to work, that is, in front of the face. I can make this quickly if I work without a camera, but I'll deliver the video from my perspective for you to enjoy.

Wonderful work man. I have a question if you can answer. Is that newly cut wood?

Such a big yellow beautiful wood BUT ???
BUT THE RESULT IS TOO SMALL
What you think????
Thank you for your comment! I am using a tree that was destroyed by a disaster. It looks big, but it's a branch that looks like firewood. Sawdust is recycled as a building material.
Nice goblet.
I turn goblets too - mainly from olive wood.
Do you use Tung oil or Linseed oil as a finish, to make the goblet safe for drinking?
Also, why do you make it so thin?
Doesn't it make the goblet too weak?
I try to make my goblets at least 0.5 cm. thick on the sides of the bowl, to make them strong enough (yet not so heavy) and to prevent leaks (I leave only the edge area a bit thinner for comfort when the lips touch it).
Thank you for your comment!🙇🇯🇵 In Japan, almost no olive trees grow naturally. Olives are so beautiful that I want to turn them someday. There are several reasons to make a goblet thin. One is that delicate and thin works tend to be preferred. In addition, the strength is not a problem because it uses a paint that cures in response to the moisture of the wood. It is a safe paint made in Japan and is also water resistant. And it's a rare value because no one makes very thin goblets.
Beautiful!

И какой смысл обрабатывать сырое дерево, да ещё и до такой толщины стенок? Чтобы высохло и полопалось? 🤔
