I've owned this 4g tablet from October last year and had to get shipped to Australia from Singapore as no one carries in any tec shops. It a wonderful device and everything and more than I could ask for.
@@mini9503 Isn't that all a Tab A? It's fine, don't get me wrong, but I still have my now ancient Tab S and it's even is still more gorgeous. I just wish they made the S7 range in an 8 inch form factor

The first durable tablets had a coating on them to help make it easier to digest them. These newer tablets would crack someone's teeth just trying to chew them to digest them, however, durability is always a good idea, unless the goal is to sell products that only last so long in order to sell more of the products to the same customers repeatedly, in order to cover the costs of yearly land taxes so developers dont end up being forced to live in a cardboard box on a sidewalk watching movies on a tablet that can now withstand being dropped onto a sidewalk. It's so unusual for such a product to all the consumer to change the battery on their own, normally, these things pile up in landfill sites making water supplies cancerous. Samsung may include a ad blocker next and take daring democracy to a whole new level.
@@平和-v1z the costs associated with making a version like that for such a tiny minority of people that are willing to buy these products makes this a non worthwhile thing for Samsung
@@yab3146 Of course Samsung won't profit from this, but generally, all manufacturers should sell products with a more modular design. It is better for the environment and the consumer. Just take a look at the Fairphone 3 for example...
Notice how this has tons of premium features that we used to take for granted (removable battery, headphone jack and unobstructed display) yet they hide this and try to only sell to business customers. Meanwhile, us "normal folk" get a much more fragile device with stupid rounded corners on the screen and a sealed in battery. Ask yourself why Samsung's version of "premium" doesn't include features that this tablet has. If too many people knew about this tablet, they would wonder why Samsung charges so much for their mainsteam tablets.
What I love about this tablet apart from removable battery is that you have a proper Samsung DeX capability, not DeX UI Mode like you get in Tab S6 Lite and Tab S7 FE.
samsung does not sell spare batteries for this device (as per their forum) only an engineer will provide an extra battery if the current one has problems. seems really odd

Im looking at getting one to replace my work phone with. Is it too big to carry as a phone or do you think its manageable. I have big hands so thats not the problem just curious about pockets?
@@activechaos128 I couldn't be happier with my Active3 PhoneTab/TabPhone/Phablet ;-) I have average size hands (maybe fractionally less than avg) and can carry it in one hand just fine - fingertips are utilized :-). Not 'quite' as comfortable to do as a nice slim S21 normal phone but comfortably do-able. I too gave this much thought prior buying it. I refused to buy something that is crippled in life-length by a NON-removable battery - in principle and practicality. Forget throwing away phones because the bloody battery has reached end-of-life! Bugger that! No, I needed something I could make calls on, watch vids on comfortably and read my emails and texts without squinting my old eyes. I carry it most of the time in my small personal shoulder bag. I can indeed put it in my 'back' pocket but rarely do. It is not workable in either of my front pockets in my jeans but back pocket is fine. I have never really understood people who put their phones in their pockets as it is a disaster if you sit on your phone by forgetting - anyway, probably as I use my bag for phone or tablet - I hate even a normal phone in a pocket. I strongly recommend this PhoneTab - it ticks all my boxes. My only 'real' wish (or complaint) is that I'd love thinner bezels as holding it would be just that little bit easier. Also, while the camera is more than adequate for me, it would be nice to have the super camera like in my son's S21 Ultra. Oh, I always use the hands free option to make calls - which are clear and crisp. Only VERY rarely do I feel the need to hold it to my head for a call - radiation is a risk on all phones when held that close so I rarely do that. USB-C is great, the screen is beautifully bright and clear and the 3 physical buttons are a godsend. I don't see why all tablets can't be TabPhones from the factory - no brainer really! Good luck with your decision. If you buy it I'm sure you'll like it. While some people may say iot has certain 'portability' compromises (perhaps it has?!) I can tell you one thing for sure: it definitely beats carrying a tablet AND a normal phone together! Oh, and I have a 1TB SD card in her - monster TabPhone!!
Yeah. I'll probably get one with my next payment. I have the note 8 tablet from 2012 and it was awesome. I really liked the form factor but dont understsnd why they didnt do a follow up. Looks like this is the closest we'll get. It was big but still pocketable in my cargo pocket or like you said in a carry bag. I need a bigger screen than my note 9 for viewing documents and using vnc viewer but don't want to lugg around a 10+ inch tablet. I really like the removable battery, headphone jack, USB c, that its got at least 4gb ram, and a 13mp camera. For the price it seems to tick all the boxes for me as well. I'll let you know how I go.

Poor? I so doubt that. That would be Xiaomi's MIUI. Xiaomi still doesn't fully address the existing bugs despite numerous updates. By contrast, OneUI works flawlessly well even for my mum's Galaxy J8 with 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 450 chipset.

I just want an 8 inch android tablet that ISN'T a budget tablet like Samsung used to make. The S-series is nice but they're all larger tablets.
There is the 2019 Tab 8.0 S-Pen model. But Samsung is investing into Foldable/Rollable phones instead of small tablets with the S-Pen support.

There's two different versions of this there's a Wi-Fi one and there's a lte one?
can you explain to me what are these models T570 T575 / T577
Does it come with a 'Messages' app.... so I can send/receive text messages
this is more pen like then the other ones
almost like Dells' Pocket PPCs except it has a different os & processor.., NO THANKS !..
Good job
