8,000 Rangers fans made the trip down to St Andrew’s last night for Birmingham City’s memorial fixture for their greatest ever player Trevor Francis.
Blues were 2-1 victors in an impressive display. Occupying most of the possession throughout the full 90.
Rangers meanwhile were booed off at half time by their travelling support with more pressure mounting on manager Philippe Clement.
Things seem to be coming together nicely for Chris Davies with the first game against Reading on the horizon.
Marc Leonard is almost certainly going to be announced within the next few days and with the possibility of a Jay Stansfield return, the upcoming season could be a thoroughly enjoyable one.
