We always book a universal hotel stay for a night and you’re right, you get 2 days worth of express pass and it’s so worth it! We go in 219 days!! ✈️🐭✨
First ever trip to Disney world. We are going on 14th June staying at Coronado springs. We have been to Disneyland Paris 22 times with trip 23 in 6 days but so excited so see the world.
Disney isn’t really my thing but it’s so lovely to see your joy and enthusiasm about your holiday. As a wheelchair user who has to rely on strangers to get on and off a plane I’ve made the decision not to travel for the foreseeable, so I’m totally living vicariously through friends and RUclipsrs who are finally able to get away. I hope it’s the best time for you both
We have 84 days until our WDW trip... this will be my first time back in 15 years, first time with my husband who hasn't been since he was 8 years old and will also be our 3rd time lucky postponed trip post COVID for my 30th Birthday (which was 2 years ago🤦🏾♀️) and i can't wait! Brogan if i see you I will say 👋🏽... my husband and I are also hoping Adam and Gary are heading there the same time... honestly it's been you, Adam, Gary and Victoria who have kept me positive and buzzin for all this to come to an end and for us to get back to the Magic... so thank you 😊 💓
I re-re-re-re-rewatched 😅 some of your old Disney vlogs and planning videos today, so this video is just the perfect way to end the day!!! Omg I’m so excited for you!! So many new places to go, things to do and snacks to eat! Thank you for sharing this with us. Cannot wait for the vlogs 🤩🥳
We just got back from WDW after a 2 week trip, it was so so magical to be back. Although it was super busy, especially for the time of year, we still had the best time. Like you guys we’ve been before so just took each day as it came and didn’t end up using genie+ at all! We rode our must dos either first thing or in the evening. Lunch at the Disney resorts was so much more relaxed and better value for money so worth popping out of the parks during the busy and hot midday time. We tried Citricos at The Grand Floridian this time and would highly recommend for a special date night. It was $$$$ but so so worth it! Steakhouse 71 lunch was also top notch! I’m sure you will have the most incredible time together and just enjoy being back in the magic 🌟🐭
I’m sure you might already know this but I’ve used Genie + in Disneyland and we loved it because of the way we used it. My tip is if you get it, get to the parks early and do all the popular rides first. Especially the ones that you know will have a high wait time later in the day. For example go through the regular line for BTM early morning where it will probably be at a 5 minute wait. And then later in the day, you can do it again with your Genie + when the regular wait time is 55 minutes. All examples of course but we did that and it was amazing! Got 14 rides done in 1 busy day at Disneyland and DCA :)
We went for Christmas, which was fantastic! We did Boma, Space 220 and Liberty Tree on Xmas day. Space 220 was ok but wouldn't rush back. Gideon's was amazing, went on our last day so brought 4 cookies home to enjoy! Skyliner is fantastic so use it as much as you can. Food prices seemed to have skyrocketed and where most of our money went. My husband really enjoyed Baseline TapHouse so if Benji likes beer you can do a choose your own beer flight. Woody's lunch box was yum and the meat eaters in our group loved Regal Eagle Smokehouse. Harmonious was so good, we watched it from in front of the Japan pavilion. Enjoy every second and can't wait for the vlogs!!!
i went to florida in 2016 and 2018 and for both those trips your videos were basically BIBLES to me! I’ve just booked for 2023 to take Logan and your trip falls perfectly before mine again for inspiration and to look out for when i go, i can’t wait to feel like we’re there with you, to watch you happy cry when you get to main street, see what the hard rock hotel is like and hear all your tips and tricks since the whole C word has happened ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Brogan this was soo helpful as I felt soo lost planning one for 2023! Please make a video on your trip to Universal during your time at Disney!
I’d recommend going to old town in Kissimmee, it’s really fun and definitely comes alive at night! It’s a small town that has loads of shops, food, bars, rides and old vintage cars and throughout the week they do different shows and have different events going on so I would definitely recommend. It’s only 10 minutes from Disney, hope you have a really fun and magical trip☺️✨ xx
My husband and I just got back from staying at pop century, you will LOVE being at a skyliner resort. We were glad we got park hoppers because we ended almost every night waking through Epcot to catch the skyliner back to the hotel. It was an extra treat at the end of each day!
Funny watching that re “happy places”. My #1 happy place is actually Mallorca, I’ve been there so many times, and so many good family memories. Been to Disney World Florida once as a child in 1990, absolutely loved it then. No massive desire to go back, but maybe once for old times sake ! 😊 You’re first ever vlog I ever watched was you’re Tenerife vlog 🌴🌞 - you should definitely go back there ! 👍
So excited for your trip and ours. We arrive May 9 so I’ll keep my eyes peeled for you. We always go late April/ early May. Great weather and mild crowds.
Yes! Just discovered your page from the Stitch Fix unboxing and saw you were a DisneyWorld fan - I went in December with my husband and going back in June with my sister :) xx
I would love for you to do a video of all your plans before your trip, but post it online after your trip. Then do another video reviewing what went to plan and want didn't and why after your trip. I would also love a video of the top things eg: rides, foods, sights for someone who had less time.
I love your vlogs, Brogan! I also love following Adam and Gary C. My daughter and I will be at Disney World in March of 2022 and I am watching loads of pack with me and Disney planning vlogs to get ready for the trip. Thank you for continuing to share your love of Disney with us. All the best to you and Benji!
This is the best! The perfect Q and A…. I personally don’t think you need to give out park days… however maybe do a ‘must do’ in each park just before you go. The rest can be a surprise when we see the vlogs. So excited for you guys xx wooooop
I wanted to add that we stayed at Pop last weekend! HS opened at 9am but they let us in at 8am. We were in line for Minnie’s Runaway by 810. They didn’t open the ride until 8:30 but it was a walk on for us when they did open it. So they aren’t advertising it but they are letting you into the ride queues before the official opening time for resort guests.
My boyfriend and I also go to WDW for the first two weeks of May! It will be our first time there, so we are very excited! As first-timers, some things can be a bit overwhelming, so this Q&A was very helpful. Thank you!
190 days for us (August). Can’t wait and your vlogs will be the perfect preparation! We did same re Universal in 2018, kept the Disney hotel but booked 1 night at Universal (Loews Royal Pacific) to get the free express passes for 2 days so that makes absolute sense and financially was a no brainer for us. Happy planning!! ✨
there's private cove crazy golf in Kissimmee. never done i but always drive past it and wondered what it was like. also go and have a wonder round Celebration.
Ahh I'm so excited to see your videos from your trip! I'm currently trying to price things up in terms of staying on/off property and what is the best plan for transport for 2 people. It's so much to think about and budget for, so thanks for going over things that you have planned and paid for. Can't wait to see more from you!
My family always stays at the Hard Rock Hotel for 2 nights of our trip. We have done club level and it’s so worth it! Also walking distance to the parks through a side entrance. You’ll love it x
Watched this with such a goofy grin on my face! So so so pleased for you!! This is so nostalgic for me as this is how I ‘properly’ found you last year as a newbie for going with your planning advice!! You’re brilliant at talking us through the process - makes me excited just thinking about it. We went in November 21 and there are things - most you mentioned! - that I’m like you HAVE to enjoy this but don’t wanna over hype it for you… but also…. ITS GONNA BE AMAZING!!! Eeeeep!!
And yes you are correct you can use genie plus in multiple parks when you park hop. We did HS, Epcot and MK in one day and used genie + in all 3. While you are still in your first park you can change your genie + settings to your next park and book your next booking.
We’ve just come back from our trip, and you HAVE to try Congo River Golf! There’s a few of them scattered around Orlando, and they’re always so much fun!! And we did fly drive with Virgin Holidays too, driving in Florida isn’t actually as scary as it seems! I was surprised at how easily we took to it, I’d never driven anywhere other than the UK and I feel super comfortable driving in Orlando now. Fuelling up is fine, we did it twice and the ones we used were exactly like the pay at pump we have here. The only issue we had is our Revolut travel cards, for some reason they wouldn’t work for fuel.
Hey! Flying Fish on the boardwalk is honestly incredible for steak the wagyu steak is out of this world The belly pork starter was phenomenal we ended up going back again because it was so good Expensive but honestly the perfect date night for something extra special!
We went in april/May in 2016 for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Great weather so enjoy. We Will hopefully be there in 22 days! Staying at coronoado springs. First time on property. Some restaurants on our list for outside disney are olive garden, rock and brews, miller's, longhorn steakhouse. Don't forget, as you have a car it will be easier to go to Walmart/target for snacks etc too i can't wait to get back and enjoy disney with my little boy for his first time! 💙
I am going in a couple of weeks with what will then be my husband on our honeymoon! I can't wait, I am beyond excited and planning it has definitely been one of the best parts of the whole process!
There are so many mini golf courses along the 192 ,you have to try them out!! Look out for coupon books too!! You have to go to the mall at millennia and go to the cheesecake factory you will love it!! Bob Evans or ihop is also our favourite for breakfast! You should go to Old Town in Kissimmee too! has a great atmosphere in the evenings at the weekend!! 💜
We head to disney in Feb 2023! We love your videos and can't wait to watch your vlogs! Would love you to do the dining booking video! My dad is very nervous! Our 60 days out is 30th December and I have tasked him with making the dining reservations! He'd love to see the process before he actually does it
Kobe Japanese steakhouse on international drive is a gorgeous restaurant for a date night dinner. The kind of fancy place where they cook in front of you. Also, we loved Miller's Alehouse for a lot of our evening meals. It's a proper American sports bar with the big TV screens up. Super nice, classic American food and really close to Disney!
Your Disney Vlogs make soooo excited! 🤩🤩🤩 We have 115 days to go and I am with you I get emotional just thinking about being back there!! Definitely made sense booking the Hard Rock for a night to get the 2 days express pass we did this in 2019 and the hotel is fab. I watched your 2018 vlogs and have mirrored your spreadsheet for all my disney trips.. planning the trip is definitely part of the excitement! Look forward to more planning vlogs from you between now and May😁🤍
Me and my fiancé were meant to go to Disneyland in 2020 but I’m still abit nervous to rebook 😅 After seeing you get so excited and going this year is making me really want to rebook my trip! I can’t wait to see your Disney vlogs!😁
Were heading back to Orlando on the 24th of September this year!! I would totally recommend cracker barrel- one of the best and cheapest places to eat and the places are so cute!😍 Millers ale house is also really nice too and then don’t forget twistee treats! 🥰😍🤩
Yay my question made it! My partner and I are going in May too, I’m so excited! We went to the Kennedy Space Centre in 2018 and loved it - I’d recommend for sure. We’re going again this year.
We are headed on our first Walt Disney world trip in august this year! I am beyond excited I think about it every day! I would love to see a video where you show us your spreadsheet! I have one too! Most excited for your come pack with me video rewatch your original Florida packing videos at least once a week xxx
Ohhhh I can’t wait to live vicariously through your vlogs Brogan! We’re off to NYC in a couple weeks, and the cancellation anxiety is still real! 🤣 Been watching your old New York vlogs repeatedly 🥺
Pre record detail plans for each day all details of booking what you plan doing each day then put it up day before you come home then it's private for you and Benji as it has always happened.
Universal…yes hard rock (regular room included) you get the unlimited express included. (For future…portofino and royal pacific resorts include this, too). And yes…begins day of check in thru end of day on check out. At men in black as for an immigration tour when you get off the ride (keep your phone with you for photos). If the mummy is open ask for a backstage tour when you get off the ride. I think hulk may have a gamma tour or something like that. And some dining places give you priority seating for resort guests.
Oh wow, that all sounds so amazing, can’t wait for your vlogs. I highly recommend the yachtsman steak house we had a celebratory meal there and it was stunning, honestly the best steak I’ve ever eaten 😊 I also saw somewhere recently about a Teppanyaki restaurant around Disney looked fab, great reviews and a fraction of the cost of Teppan edo, I know it’s not in Epcot but if you’re driving could be a possibility. Also on the genie + bookings, I’ve seen people go to a water park during the day and whilst there start selecting their rides for that evening, 2 hours later you can add another and so on, by the time they got to the park they had 4 rides lined up 😊 Have an amazing time planning and counting down to your trip 🤩🤩🤩
Recommended restaurants off property : Olive Garden Cheesecake Factory Bahama Breeze Giordano's Miller's Alehouse (Winter Garden Vineland Avenue location) - get the chicken nachos! Café Tu Tu Tango - tapas Fogo de Chão Brazilian restaurant Taverna Opa Greek restaurant at Pointe Orlando Sizzler and Golden Corral for breakfast buffets. I've heard good things about The Melting Pot (fondue restaurant) but haven't been myself. Old Town in Kissimmee is fun to visit, especially in evenings. I think Michael Kay has some videos on it. 💕
Commenting again with more suggestions, haha. I believe there are a few gas stations on Disney property (it actually might be near Pop Century/Wide World of Sports) but it tends to be way more expensive than off-property. As you know, the parks are close together so I don't think you'd have to fill up very often unless you went off-property every day. Regarding tolls, you can always purchase a Sun Pass, which you place in your dashboard and it has a sensor to deduct money as you go through the toll. You should be able to add more money/refill online if needed. I believe they are sold at the airport/car rental areas. Super easy but if not, make sure you have coins available in the car. Regarding mini-golf, the RUclipsr Brooks Holt has done lots of mini golfing videos in Orlando if you wanted to preview the courses! Disney has Fantasia Gardens but Pirate's Cove and Congo River are good off-property ones :)
I’m going in Oct for my 50th Birthday! Very excited, as hubby has booked Animal Kingdom Lodge🦒. one question for you brogan, how many days ahead of your trip did you book your park reservations days ? thank you for the great info as per usual 👌😍
My fiancee and I stayed at Pop Century for the last couple days of our last Disney trip back in 2019 and I loved it so much there that we are staying for our whole trip back at the end of the year (🤞). You will love how much it actually feels like Disney and the convenience of the sky liner. Can't wait to follow along!!
You could find a Walmart or Target close by to stock up on snacks/drinks for your hotel room and I think most of them have some Disney merch for much cheaper than inside the parks. Also there are Disney Character outlets close by for merch. I'm sure you know all about those suggestions, but just in case! Love your idea to explore really good restaurants. I love to eat haha so I'm looking forward to seeing what you get and for your reviews!
Just got back to Canada after 1 week , very very busy. Loved all the new stuff and the castle is beautiful. Even super crowded we didn’t need lightening lane and rode everything
I love how knowledgeable you are Brogan. We were last in Disney World in 2018 and I wish i was going back soon but we are going to wait until our little boy is older (we went before he was born) Hope you and Benji have the absolute best time xx
We’re going in April so we will miss by just a few days. We were there in march of 2020 also and as you can imagine that was not a succes… So we’re super excited to finally go again! 🎉
When I was in Disney over Christmas, there was only one ride per park that was Lightning Lane. For example, Mickey and Minnie’s was on Genie+ but Rise was still Lightning Lane. Not sure if that was just for the holidays though. I’d highly recommend Lightning Lane for any new ride you know you want to do(Rise, Ratatouille) at least for the first time. The line for Rise was over 3 hours all day when I was there in December, so we bought Lightning Lane in the morning. Also, if you are going to do Lightning lane, buy it right away in the morning because sometimes they do run out of slots by the afternoon
There is a mini golf course opposite vista way (the old disney housing) that looked so fun! It did look a bit tacky but I feel like it's the good tacky!
Love your Disney Vlog. We went May 2019 for two weeks and it was 36-40 degrees most days. I love the heat so it didn’t bother me but my boys found it really hot especially walking about in it. I can’t wait to go back 2024 xxx
Crazy golf, get yourself down I drive. Winter Garden is a beautiful town 20mins from Disney. Rosalie le French cafe is awesome. Half price top golf Tuesday which is great fun
hello Brogan. we are going end of june this year and have been going for many years now, but am very nervous as soo much as changed. cant wait to see how you guys get on with the changes and what advice you can give on anything different. will keep watching your updates - thank you 🥰🥰
Hi Brogan! We fly 10th May and we are staying at Pop Century. Hope you guys are still there?? You were my first vlogger I watched when I was planning our first trip back in 2019 and your vlogs really helped!
You may correct/elaborate but I paused so I wouldn’t forget. It is my understanding, and experience, you can book first genie + at 7am…but you can’t book the next one until 2 hrs after park opens. And when you tap in I don’t think you are cleared until the second tap in to book next one. And when you buy lightening lane you are only allowed 2 per day is my understanding. But you can purchase for your park hopping park. It’s very confusing…you’ll spend the first couple of days trying to figure it out and then try to remember how you did it🤣. Take screen shots of of everything you book.
So excited to see the vlogs from when you guys get back from Orlando! Your last vlogs essentially convinced me and my boyfriend to book our first trip to Orlando and we are going for the first time in September ☺️ so excited and can’t wait to get some inspo from your trip ☺️❤️
I'm sure the crazy golf we went to was on the 192 there used to be a few down there we always use the restaurants on the same road cracker barrel was good along there plus they have a shop very good x
We had the $504 dining credit and used it for breakfast and evening meals, I just paid for the special places like Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood. Genie is not bad as it is free, Genie+ you will only need in MK & HS, we found it really good in MK but HS was tricky most things going very quickly. We only paid extra for one Individual Lighting Lane which was the Rise of the Resistance and so worth it when the queues are 3+hrs long. We stayed at All Star Movies and was great for us. We used Disney transport, buses, monorail, Skyliner all very good. We kept as safe as we good masks, kept distance, sanitized. You will have a fab time and I can't wait to watch your videos.
Hey Brogan - great vlog - can not wait to watch the vlogs from your upcoming trip!!! You and Benji should try Lost Caverns Adventure Golf. Its such a lush atmosphere (waterfalls, river, etc.) and if you love Animal Kingdom I think you would love the vibe here. Have fun! xxx
I'm going in 5 days time, and I'm so excited! I've done my research especially as this is the first time I have booked it all myself after going to family in previous times. We have a load of food places booked, shopping days, water parks days! I can't wait to vlog and enjoy the magic after almost 8 years! Hope you have a fab time and I'm looking forward to your vlogs! xx
Did you find that you were able to book every restaurant that you wanted? I'm not seeing loads of availability. Maybe it's just because I can only see 60 days ahead right now.
Pirate’s adventure golf is great and there is currently an offer on the US groupon for it 😃 also Uncle Julio’s is a great restaurant and they do a giant chocolate piñata 🪅 xx we have 19 days until we fly to the magic 🥰 xx
We always hire a car when we go to Disneyworld and we absolutely love it, it gives you so much more freedom to explore. We take our own satnav just make sure its up to date before you go you do get a satnav with the alamo car hire but we found that its easier to use your own. Highly recommend the Pirates Cove mini golf and cheesecake factory :) looking forward to the vlogs!
Are you heading back to Disney this year? Let me know your plans and countdowns! ✨👇
My family and I go on the 25th of April till the 10th of May, I cannot wait! We usually go every year so got lots of time to make up for!
We always book a universal hotel stay for a night and you’re right, you get 2 days worth of express pass and it’s so worth it! We go in 219 days!! ✈️🐭✨
Yes !!! We’re heading in June 🥳 139 days !! We have all our planning done just waiting to book our dining 😍
First ever trip to Disney world. We are going on 14th June staying at Coronado springs. We have been to Disneyland Paris 22 times with trip 23 in 6 days but so excited so see the world.

I’m almost tearing up with you! 🥺 so excited for you! It’s been a long time coming for us all back here in the uk 🥺❤️
Love all the pre-trip Disney videos!!
Thank you so much Brogan. We’re going in April and I am soooo excited 💫. Loving the snack list 😆
My family always stays at the Hard Rock Hotel for 2 nights of our trip. We have done club level and it’s so worth it! Also walking distance to the parks through a side entrance. You’ll love it x
Thanks for answering all the questions! Planning is half the fun. 😀
Hey!
Flying Fish on the boardwalk is honestly incredible for steak the wagyu steak is out of this world
The belly pork starter was phenomenal we ended up going back again because it was so good
Expensive but honestly the perfect date night for something extra special!
Still looking at best way of booking Florida for 2023, but jst booked Disneyland paris for July and I can’t wait it’s been too long for us 🥰🏰 xx
Watching your videos makes me so excited for my first solo trip in May. You will enjoy the convince of hard rock to the parks.
Look forward to more planning vlogs from you between now and May😁🤍
Highly recommend Outback Steakhouse! Best meal we had in Florida, a bit spendy but it was gorgeous! x
Me and my fiancé were meant to go to Disneyland in 2020 but I’m still abit nervous to rebook 😅 After seeing you get so excited and going this year is making me really want to rebook my trip! I can’t wait to see your Disney vlogs!😁
Wine Bar George is fabulous for drinks and amazing small plates in Disney Springs.
Congo River Golf is great! It’s a mini golf course on international drive and it’s so much fun
Love Caribbean Beach - love the space and the grounds
Cannot WAIT for these vlogs! You and Benji are the dream team 😍 xxx
Love hearing your answers and plans and snacks!!!! 🤩 we love longhorn and applebees got off site restaurants! ❤️
*for off site restaurants lol
Please do a separate video on Genie plus. It would be so helpful x
Pre record detail plans for each day all details of booking what you plan doing each day then put it up day before you come home then it's private for you and Benji as it has always happened.
Our trip tradition is to go to Jungle Golf, we love it!
Recently watched a vlog of the pirate cover mini golf on international drive, looked great with waterfalls and ships! Looks amazing!
Ooh noted, thanks Stephanie!! xx
I highly recommend the yachtsman steak house we had a celebratory meal there and it was stunning, honestly the best steak I’ve ever eaten 😊
I also saw somewhere recently about a Teppanyaki restaurant around Disney looked fab, great reviews and a fraction of the cost of Teppan edo, I know it’s not in Epcot but if you’re driving could be a possibility.
Also on the genie + bookings, I’ve seen people go to a water park during the day and whilst there start selecting their rides for that evening, 2 hours later you can add another and so on, by the time they got to the park they had 4 rides lined up 😊
Have an amazing time planning and counting down to your trip 🤩🤩🤩
Recommended restaurants off property :
Olive Garden
Cheesecake Factory
Bahama Breeze
Giordano's
Miller's Alehouse (Winter Garden Vineland Avenue location) - get the chicken nachos!
Café Tu Tu Tango - tapas
Fogo de Chão Brazilian restaurant
Taverna Opa Greek restaurant at Pointe Orlando
Sizzler and Golden Corral for breakfast buffets.
I love that!! Xx
We were last in Disney World in 2018 and I wish i was going back soon but we are going to wait until our little boy is older (we went before he was born)
Hope you and Benji have the absolute best time xx
Hi Brogan some offsite restaurants I recommend are Bob Evans( for breakfast), Millers and Giordano’s Pizza
We are going first 2 weeks in May as well. So so excited!! Second time for us x
We went in may 2019, it was soooo warm hottest may they had for years. We had two showers of rain , but as we all know it cleared up fast
May Is a lovely time of year to visit but it's super hot! ☀️😎
I am so happy you are able to go this year. We are heading down in September 2022.
Crazy golf, get yourself down I drive. Winter Garden is a beautiful town 20mins from Disney. Rosalie le French cafe is awesome. Half price top golf Tuesday which is great fun
The tropical serenade was so yummy
Going 2nd week of may for the first time!!!!! Staying at pop century and we can’t wait !!!!!! 😁
yes yes yeees, I was hoping for another Disney Q&A! :)
Obsessed with your disney videos! Was just re watching them all last night!! Been watching you for years now🥰❤Xxx
Thanks Amy! Xx
You can certainly see how excited you are to be heading back to your happy place ❤️ loved the vlog x
We can’t wait!! x
hello Brogan. we are going end of june this year and have been going for many years now, but am very nervous as soo much as changed. cant wait to see how you guys get on with the changes and what advice you can give on anything different. will keep watching your updates - thank you 🥰🥰
Thanks so much for all the info!!! We’re going 2 weeks after and can’t wait to see your stories and get excited for our trip!
Hope you have a fab time and I'm looking forward to your vlogs! xx
Have the best time!! Xx
Did you find that you were able to book every restaurant that you wanted? I'm not seeing loads of availability. Maybe it's just because I can only see 60 days ahead right now.
@@Lyces Yeah I booked them all. You have to be quick. While we were there, there were tables available for certain places so just keep checking!
