I just got back from Antigua 2 weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. I would consider moving there, because it's a safe place not only for myself but also for my kids. I was also shocked to see that everyone there looks exactly like me lol. I enjoyed it so much, I'm visiting again in February.
Hey Tati, I just watched both of your videos (because I was watching videos about “life in Antigua”) and I called my wife in to watch it also because I thought you were really cool, funny, cute and extremely informative. I wanted to leave a comment to say you’re genuine presentation was awesome, but I wasn’t sure about you’re video at first because your background was very generic, but it was ultimately worth watching once you started talking. I think you should do many more RUclips videos exactly the way that you do, but just with a little bit better background scenery (like an outdoor background in Antigua or Costa Rica) and I think you’re channel could be a big hit! I just though it was worth mentioning and great job on both of your (very natural, keeping it real) videos. Oh, and I was your 100th sub BTW! 😁👍🏼
Hey 100th sub!!! I want to send you something. Thank you to you and your wife ❤️ I appreciate your constructive criticism and it really helps. You are absolutely right ! I’ll get to work
You have such a calming voice! And a beautiful vibe. I can't wait to watch more of your vids either from Antigua or the other countries you visit. Stay safe
Please more videos! This was really informative Id love to visit Antigua and Barbuda someday!! I might live there but I want to visit several times before I decide that!
I moved back and I struggle with the horrible service. Raising a son and can’t deal with the stress of being black. I can’t change my skin color however I can change my location.
Apologies for the late response, you have to quarantine for 2 weeks in a “safe zone” and make sure when u book your ticket. You book a round trip -_- they will give u an issue at the air port. Gets tested before your flight and have the results with u. Always wear a mask. That’s about it :)
Hi there Tati, I’m Gerry from Manchester Uk pleased to meet you. What a lovely young lady you are, I enjoyed the video of you explaining what life is like on Antigua. I know what you mean about colour on houses etc, the cities are like concrete jungles and colourless. I’d really love to live there but I’m now retired and don’t have an income only my pension. You never know I might win the lottery one day and buy myself a little house on Antigua, how wonderful would that be. I cant remember where you said you were going after you go back to the US.? I bet your dog has really missed you? It must be refreshing to know all the police are black and that white police officers won’t pull you over and pull a gun on you. I can’t imagine what you have to endure back in the US I’d never feel safe. I hope this message finds you well, take care of yourself and stay safe. I hope you find your happy place to settle down and raise those babies 👶 love from Gerry xxx

Great vid, very informative. Curious on the public transpo situation there? Are there Ubers or Taxis or is it absolutely necessary to for someone living there long-term to own a vehicle?
Public transport is available and reasonable....and Yes Antigua has taxi and it is very necessary to own your own vehicle... no we not in the days where we ride donkeys or walk

They call it " over taking". That when you pass someone on the road. I've lived here off and on for ten years. I'm originally from NY. It's a beautiful place. But if you want to move here please do your research. Like everywhere it has problems, some serious. Poor infrastructure is a serious one.the roads are bad just about everywhere. There are frequent power outages. Water can also be a problem if there isn't some form of rain water catchment like a cistern or tank. The internet service is not good. And everything is more expensive because most things are imported. And the mosquitoes are no joke. But if you can deal with some of these things it just may be the place for you.
