My brother was killed in a drunk driving accident .He fell asleep at the wheel and was thrown from his truck in the roll over. He left behind two little kids. I am so happy your son has his dad. I think it is great that you are trying to help people not make that mistake. I love your videos you make the world a better place. Keep moving forward and be there for your son.
I’m glad you’re okay, nobody got hurt. Takes a lot of courage to make a video like this with a platform and I’m sure everyone here supports you and applauds you for doing what’s right. It’s definitely an eye opener. Thank you for sharing!
I’m glad that this was a wake up call for you to finally get help that was very much needed. My dad struggled with alcoholism due to depression but he’s been sober for 15 years now. He also was in an accident and couldn’t remember how he got on the road. Thank you for being so open and honest.
What a courageous discussion. Thank you for being so transparent with your followers. No one is here to judge. More so, we are here to be a supportive network. Keep doing your channel and remember how talented and positive your channel is to others. We have your back Paul.
We’re all here for you, Paul keep working on yourself. Thank you for sharing this. I’m so glad you were not physically injured. Remember, you have your lovely little boy.❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your story Paul. I can see that you are regretful and have learned from it. You definitely had an angel watching over you that night. Sending you support and well wishes 🙏.
Thank you for sharing your story. What a wake-up call. I'm praying anyone watching this video learns from your experience. It could have turned out differently. Continue your growth. You won't regret it❤
Thank you for sharing. You’re not alone. Many people struggle with depression, anxiety, and many make similar mistakes. However, many don’t overcome or learn along the way, so, it’s good to see you trying your best, and making others aware. It’s not easy feeling vulnerable, but I think you’re doing the right thing by sharing this with others, even if we’re mostly strangers. Thanks for this… keep taking care of yourself!
Powerful message! We all make mistakes, but not everyone has the strength to own up to them. Keep moving forward - you are on the right path and are a good role model for others suffering from depression.
Paul, I’m so happy you did not get hurt or hurt anyone. Sharing your story is so commendable. Glad to hear you are taking care of yourself. Ditto to all the commenters here. Everyone supports you!❤💪🏽
I’m glad that you made it out of this situation alive. I don’t judge and we all make mistakes no matter how big or small. I think that you are amazing for sharing your experiences with us and being so transparent. I will always support you and will keep on watching even if it’s from the bushes. Thank you for putting yourself out there! ❤🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing this brotha and glad you’re ok and nobody else got hurt! You gotta be crazy mature to compose yourself then make and upload this video about your experience. Mental health is more important than ever these days and we’re here to support you all the way!
Hi Paul I am so glad you are okay and didn’t get hurt too badly and most importantly, that no one else got hurt and I’m very thankful that you were able to learn a great lesson from this incident in your life. I pray that you will continue to be successful and I pray for many blessings for your life in your family! ❤
I am glad you came out of the crash okay and you didn’t crash into any other cars or hurt anyone else. This is definitely a good public service announcement to anyone who watches this. Thank you for making this video.
I’m so glad you and nobody else got hurt. It takes a lot to talk about mistakes we make. You’re not alone in this. You have a large community of people behind you.
You continue to impress me, Paul. I think you don't give yourself enough credit for being a superior human. God bless you! 🙏😊❤ Looking forward to many more adventures and conversations! 🥰 As my Dad always said, "Keep on truckin!"
Always go with your intuition 🙏🏼 thank you for sharing something so personal ~ keep moving forward; soon all the requirements will be completed. Hang in there. Always here for you Paul.
Im glad your ok brother, I know a subject like this is not easy to talk about, But you had the strenght to do it and im happy to hear your doing better. Your video will definitely help a lot of people out.
New Subscriber but stay strong brother it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there like that but if you connect with one person it is all worth it. Keep up the grind your content is great.
Hi Paul , I’m glad your opening up. I feel you can help a lot of people with your videos. I commend you for your honesty it truly takes a lot to open up about something like this. I am a member of MADD my Aunt , cousin and uncle were killed by a drunk driver after leaving a church service on Christmas Eve. The guy was driving on the wrong way on the freeway and hit them head on. I am so glad you didn’t hurt anyone. The Lord gave you another chance to do something- just remember that. I love your videos and I know you’re going to reach someone. ❤
Paul. Nobody can say that they don’t make mistakes. True, your DUI is a serious matter but our mistakes do not define us unless we let them define us. What matters even more is how we recover from our mistakes. It takes a lot of courage to admit and share what we do wrong but that doesn’t make you less of a good person than what you were before this incident. You learned from this situation and you’ve grown from this. You’ve been impacted but in a good way. I’m proud of you for taking corrective action and for sharing your experience with others. Thank you for that! Mad respect for my dude! 🤙
As humans on this earth, We make mistakes.Clearly your learning and paying and growing. I am glad you made this video. Your a brave young man with a bright future. stay the course. ❤
I am glad that you didn't get hurt, or hurt anyone else. Take care of yourself. Remember you are important!! Thank you for sharing, I am sure that was not an easy video to make! Abut 25 years a go I was pulled over after a drink, I was let go. To this day, I don't drive even if I've had one drink. So much so that I don't drink at home, because I am afraid if something happens to my daughter I need to drive.
Many thanks Paul for doing this video. There are many very important messages within the video including not listening to your gut feeling & going to the party anyway. Our “gut feelings” tell us many things if only we’d listen. I appreciate your words here & admire your courage.
Thank you for sharing and being honest about your journey. I’m glad you’re okay and have changed the direction of your life. I’m happy you are getting therapy. Thank you also for talking about the lessons you learned and how grateful you are that it could’ve been way worse. My ex had to attend AA meetings and community service too. I think he had to pick up trash on the side of a highway, supervised also.
O Paul thank you for sharing. I appreciate your honesty. We all make mistakes, and hopefully we learn from them. It sounds like you have definitely learned from yours. It sounds like you are on a really good path now, and things will be better for you in the future.💜
Sending you hugs Paul. I can’t imagine how you must’ve felt filming this but I’m so proud of you for having the strength and courage to share your story. Glad you’re okay! Keep doing the work ❤ we all love and support you
Thank you for doing this. One of my siblings was hit by a drunk driver and they ran away from the scene. My sibling is alive but when I think of drunk driving, I think of that night. Thank you.
You are so brave to share this, I’m very proud of you for being so honest and turning your life around. What you’re doing now is the right thing. Keep up the good work and thanks for being so open and honest
I feel you 😊 I think society brings us to the point of not talking about negative things but I also think that this is a mistake because we all make mistakes and have bad times and it takes a lot to talk about it plus it helps others and gives them the feeling that they are not alone with it ❤ respect Paul 🎉
It takes a lot of courage to share your experience. Good for you for being able to be so open and working thru your experience. We’re all human, we all make mistakes but, we all have to learn from them and move forward and be better. Good for you. No judgment here. Keep doing what you’re doing.
This video took a lot of courage to make & that’s a huge step. Like you kept saying, your story may help just one person out there & that could save so many lives, so thank you for speaking up about DUI’s & your accident specifically & what you’ve been through.💜💜
Paul I'm shook to hear this story. I think it took a lot of courage and maturity to discuss your DUI with us, which is such a good sign of how effective your therapy has been in helping you heal. Your life is a gift and I'm glad to hear that you've thought about how serious this incident was, as well as discussing the reality of what happens after this kind of serious accident. I'm glad your still with us. Thank you for sharing and take care of yourself.
Paul it takes a lot of courage and vulnerability to post this vlog and share your story! Thank you and know we are all here to support you in your journey! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤗
Thank you Paul for for your honesty. I'm so glad you weren't hurt or hurt someone else. I think this video could really help someone. I'm so happy that there is a silver lining for you in that you have gotten the help you need and that you are doing better. I really feel for you and I hope that each day will get a little bit better🥰 I am a big believer in sharing our struggles with other people. That way they can support you and you can support people who are going through similar things. Sending hugs to you across the ocean from New Zealand.
Proud of you Paul 😊 Thanks for sharing something so personal and meaningful . Glad you were not injured or anyone else! Always go with your gut I tell my daughter that every time she goes against it she wishes she followed her instincts! Glad you are getting the help you need please there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel ❣️ So real quick I want you to know that you matter and help people ❤ so this is true you helped me through Covid with your videos especially since I lived in Vegas you were and are my highlight of my day ☀️❤️ keep up the videos and take care always look for the positives in life❤️
I made the same mistake over twenty years ago. I blacked out after leaving a party and woke up in a police car, fortunately no one was hurt. I tell people if you are going to drink somewhere plan ahead for a ride home. Thanks for sharing your story.
This takes a lot to talk about to strangers. But it’s good therapy for you too. You didn’t get hurt because your body was so relaxed from the alcohol. I’ve seen an accident where both occupants were drunk off their butt the car had rolled several times 1 of the was hanging out the back window the other was in a ditch out cold. Found out the next day both had survived. Possibly you could of had alcohol poisoning too. People make mistakes sounds like you’ve learned a great deal from yours and suffered the consequences. Glad to hear no one was hurt and your doing better. Thank you for this video
Hey the first step to healing yourself is your acknowledgment that their is an issue. Be kind to yourself, we all make mistakes. Thank god and your guarding angel for being very present during your accident. God bless you and your family.
Thank you for your honesty Paul. It takes so much courage to do this!! We all have made stupid mistakes everyone has we learn from it and move on. Don’t be so hard on yourself you learned from it and thank God you’re ok and no one got hurt. Your the best Paul ❤
I commend you for coming out and telling your truth it took a lot of guts to do what you did and I hope that you have helped many many people from this video. I am so proud of you and also, I’m wrapping my arms around you and letting you know how much I care, take care of you keep going to counseling you’re on the way to recovery. God be with you. !!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey Paul that sux that happened to you but im glad you are using your experience to remind us all to not drink & drive. Keep on doing what u can to improve your life man! You deserve it!
Bro I feel you 100%(Been there). Same with leading up to that feeling of not wanting to go out that night but I did anyway. A few years ago, I was coming back from drinking at a bar with friends half an hour away from home. Same stuff as you, felt like I was "good" enough to drive. About 10 mins away from home, a random car swerves into my lane and totaled my car, random car didn't even check on me, he took off and then I was left as a sitting duck for the CHP. Got arrested/tested and that was a wrap. Fast forward today, I will not even have a beer and drive. If any drinking is involved, I'm either ridesharing or having a friend/family come get me. I hope you eventually learn to forgive yourself as I have, you shouldn't have to re-live it every day, just learn from it and move on for the better. Thanks and big props for sharing, I know its not easy to tell people this when they want to meet for drinks. I also feel there is a misconception about dui's, not all of us do this on purpose. It can even take just 1 drink and a small fender bender and thats it.
@PaulMayorga I don't know how far along you are since the incident and everything that comes with it, but I will honestly say you will 100 percent feel better with time. I was embarrassed and felt a bit suicidal when it happened since everyone close to me knew. Even coworkers. Felt like I let everyone down. But you got to keep fighting. I turned that incident around, worked harder and eventually got a high pay promotion at work and got better grades in college. Keep your head up my dude, we all make mistakes and don't let this define you.
Paul I definitely commend you on speaking about your experience. It can be hard, you have guilt, embarrassment, disappointment. All types of feelings. I’m glad you are speaking about this, it might save someone else from making the same mistake. I know all to well about this as well. All learning lesson. I now don’t drink due to that mistake as well.
Props to you for being honest. Takes a lot of courage to admit something like this. I totaled one of my cars from driving drunk. Luckily I didn’t hurt anybody. I had a drinking problem and got sober a few months later. 9 years sober now, it’ll be 10 in May. I just couldn’t control my drinking.
Thank you for making this video. I’m glad you’re ok. I dated a man who drank a lot and got a DUI and blamed everyone else. I got out of that relationship. Thank you for sharing your experience
Paul, we’ve all made poor decisions in our lives. Forgive yourself fully and continue to move forward. I think the most important lesson to have learned, was to always listen to our own intuition. It’s God given for a purpose. Thank you for sharing and I’m so thankful you’re ok. ❤
Thank you for sharing such a difficult part of your life. I’m sure it will help someone. It takes a caring special person to open up like me that. May Jesus continue to help you in your healing process. May God bless you and your families during this healing time. I’m proud of you and how Jesus is using your mistake to make you a better person. I will continue to watch your video’s .
You gain one more subscriber, thank you for being real ! Everything happens for a reason ! Hope to see you in the parks one day - and I’ll get you a dole whip ♥️

Thank you so much for sharing your story and sucks you also went through that but we live and learn. I really hope this video helps people
@PaulMayorga I don't know how far along you are since the incident and everything that comes with it, but I will honestly say you will 100 percent feel better with time.
Hard, hard lesson learned. Hopefully, people listen to your story & your message.
You are an awesome human for sharing. Healing is a process and we love you ❤ I've learned to listen to those gut feelings..
God Bless Native Brother ❤🙏✊👑
