- This music comes a movie called Ronja Rövardotter (Ronia The Robber's daughter). This theme is called Den Stora Rövardansen. You might say that it inspired Ludwig Göransson's Book of Boba Fett Theme.
I noticed this too the first time I saw The Book of Boba Fett. I was dead sure this song was the inspiration for the theme song and I looked it up. Imagine my surpise when I saw a swede having composed it. That's when I definitely knew Ludwig took The Book of Boba Fett theme straight from this song because he would've heard it a million times as a kid.

There is enough similarity here for the original composer to have a copyright case. It's like how Ray Parker Jr's 'Ghostbusters' was identical to 'A New Drug' by Huey Lewis. In fact, Huey Lewis sued Ray Parker Jr for copyright infringement.
I have no idea what the specifics are. I don't know if this was done with permission or what. I just thought it was cool and worth sharing.

Yeah seriously. I love The Mandalorian theme but it totally pulls from the Rocky theme. And the BoBF theme is great, but way too similar to this theme. I know composers have inspirations but damn this is a bit much.
