Had a great view here with my grandchildren. Feeling very privileged to have been able to see the spectacle.,...and even more privileged to be part of a thin slice of humanity that can understand what we have just seen.
I wasn't in the path of totality, but it's still cool to check out the eclipse. I've experienced two now and it always gives me an atavistic feeling when everyone stops what they're doing to pay attention to what's going on in the sky. A feeling like, "Yes, we would've been doing the same thing in caveman days."
Oh Wow!!! we just managed to see a tiny sliver of it. It was also cloudy here...

I'm jealous. I didn't experience that much totality.
