I saw a video of one of their concerts and he did this song. He never sang the chorus. He let the 10,000+ people sing it and I swear he was about to cry that soooooo many people know this song by heart

My first ever concert was Shinedown back in 2012; I just saw them again a few weeks ago. They are always amazing! I definitely agree, wear ear protection! "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" is a way of life for me now, unfortunately.

First time I’ve heard him sing without playback in years! COVID’s done him wonders
I think it helps him to sing without holding back because they take days off in-between shows. He actually gets a break and I think he can just belt and hit high notes & not worry about blowing his voice.
