A far cry from the Bellevue I grew up in. I was born in a Seattle hospital because Bellevue had no hospital in 1959. I was a kid when McDonalds came to town and that was a big deal for a place to eat!
They should film one of these videos in march. Not in July which is the only month with sun in the PNW. Don’t move to Bellevue. you’ll still be depressed. It’s the weather that matters not the job.
You will only be depressed, imsowetrightnow, if you hate rain. But if you simply adjust your attitude towards it, giving thanks for the rain just as much as you give thanks for the sunshine, realizing they both come from the selfsame Source who "maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust" (Matthew 5:45), all of a sudden the rain will no longer bother you. I know this to be a fact because I made that selfsame attitude adjustment towards the rain way back in 1996. Remain blessed!
I lived and operated a successful piano studio in Bellevue from 1999 to 2009. Octaves piano studio in the Eton Montessori community. Bellevue is great but I must have been too busy to take advantage of some of the sights you highlighted. I will have to check them out next time I'm there. Great video! Thank you.
That's wonderful to hear Darna! No doubt if you were to visit again now it would look quite different - it's so fast-growing that there's been a lot of change in the past 10+ years, as with all Greater Seattle settlements. Glad to hear your memories of Bellevue are happy ones!
Don't move to belleview unless you are a multi-millionaire people that live in Bellevue know that it is the most expensive place in the entire state of Washington I personally have to leave Bellevue just to do grocery shopping everything is a dollar more in this town good luck moving to Bellevue as you plan to move there plan to win a lottery to pay for living in Bellevue Bellevue is expensive expensive expensive expensive expensive.
Good to know that. We planning to visit Seattle surrounding area. But want to shop easy, commute easy, but still enjoyed a simple living life. Cost of living. We visited Vancouver Washington but want to explored more.
Drhonolulu, why not just do the things necessary to increase your income? You don't have to leave Bellevue - you just simply think you have to. There are no limits to what you can be and do and have in life except for the limits you impose upon yourself through 'stinkin' thinkin'.' Facts!

Wow, that's incredible to hear how different it was just a few decades ago - the entire Seattle area is growing so fast.

the heart of downtown Bellevue is run and owned by Kemper Freeman Jr, a Bellevue native.

The only time I've visited Amsterdam I was 11 years old - would be great to go back and see it as an adult. I remember Holland being beautiful.

I’ve lived in Bellevue for decades, and no I am nowhere close to rich. I just live frugally.
Flatout we need a new soccer stadium
