I baked this cake just now... very soft, moist and tasty... must try receipe for eggless version.
I baked in 7 inch cake tin...so my cake was thin... Exactly it took 25 minutes in OTG in convection mode.... ma'am one request...u pls aldo give measurements in grams ....it is always accurate than cup measurements...
I will keep that in mind to post the measurements in grams also..Thank you very much for trying it :)

1st press micro convection mode,then keep pressing till u get d desired temp,then set d timings n here u go...press d start button
During baking in otg both the rod should b heated or only lower one

Baking soda and baking powder are both leaveners used in baking. Baking soda needs an acidic element to react, such as vinegar, lemon juice, buttermilk, or yogurt etc. Baking powder is a mixture of baking soda and a dry acid, hence it should be used in the recipes which doesn't have any ingredient that has any acid, on the other hand, baking soda should be used when at least one of the ingredient in your recipe has some acid element.
Thank you. So it is not mandatory to use both baking soda and baking powder?
some recipes needs both the elements..so in this recipe, I would request you to use both :)

ek direction me whisk kare batter ko hamesha aur baking soda aur powder dalne ke baad 30-40 seconds se jyada na fete...turant oven me dal de to kabhi cake shrink nahi hoga.

For me also it came out too sweet, i think jo kam meetha khate h half cup sugar would be sufficient.

cake ka batter banate waqt use ek direction me mix kare...agar aap use dono taraf se mix karengi to usme air chala jata hai jis se ki cake bake hote samay bich se baith jata hai...maine ye video me bataya hai...

Wow so much information! First; I always wondered why cake batter is mixed in one direction and now i know, second; cake batter should be poured immediately in the pan, third; it ahould be poured in the middle!

One doubt i have, my cake turn out glue most of the time...why? What could be the reason, i check it with toothpick and only remove when its cooked, still its sticky while eating.

after adding the baking powder, do not whisk it more than 1/2 minute and immediately put the cake tin in oven for baking....agar jyada whisk karenge to bater me air bubbles aa jate hai jo cake ko fulne nahi dete aur kaccha rah jata hai cake centre se.

I don't have oven.. I have aluminum cooker(3 ltr) Or nonstick pan... For how much time should I bake in either of this?
PS-: I generally bake in steel vessel (don't have aluminum cake mould)
