Hey guys! I hope you are all having a great start to your week. I wanted to post my college decision reveal right after my college decision reactions video. But I’m waiting for my college sweatshirt to come in the mail. In the meantime I’ve been filming a ton during this quarantine so I’m going to be posting those preformed videos and hopefully the sweatshirt comes in the mail within the next week. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has left such sweet comments on this video. I appreciate everyone sharing their college acceptances. Honestly the UCs were so tough and random this year, I got flat out rejected to to Uc Davis, UCSB, and UCLA, but somehow managed to get waitlisted at UCI 😂 and get into Cal Poly Slo 😅

i love this video. even if you got into all of them or got rejected from all of them i can see that God put a light in you and that whatever college or university you get into will be blessed by your spirit. i felt that last 4 minutes so so much. i am also apart of the class of 2020 and i did not apply to ANY school in Cali. i however am having a hard time choosing between Villanova and UGA as my final institution. NYU (aka my dream school) waitlisted me as well. thank you for reminding me that a building does NOT define my worth. :) ilysm Aissata

I applied to 5 schools total. Got accepted into UC Merced and UC Irvine, waitlisted at UC Santa Barbara and eventually accepted but am still waiting to hear back from UC Davis and Cal Poly Slo after being waitlisted at both as well. My acceptances have shown me how the UC system is truly a lottery and there’s no set scores or grades that determine where you get in as I was admitted to two UCs with a lower acceptance rates than SLO and Davis. Anyway love your college related videos and any school is lucky to have you! Keep up the good work👍🏽
UC Riverside alumnus from way back in the day. Great people and Top 100 US News ranked programs at one of the fastest growing UC's for a reason still having a personal touch and more collaborative education. Congrats on getting in..received a solid education and enjoyed my time there...you will too if you go there! Best of luck and go Highlanders!
i mean no one is perfect and no one need to be perfect. A college accept you because they need you and they want you. they see value in you. Colleges can not decide one person's value or what kind of people they are. i accepted by my dream university in the capital of canada. I also rejected by the college which rank lower than my dream school. That does not mean i am a bad student. just mean my dream school sees my value but that school does not. so do not judge yourself base on the college acceptance

Yay! Class of 2020 peeps!! I was opposite from you in that I got into Cal poly slo and waitlisted at San Diego state (I know idk how that happens if they only look at stats and they got the exact same application). But don’t feel bad. I got rejected from all 4 of my UCs (Davis, Irvine, Berkeley, and LA). They were very competitive this year! But anyways. I think youre going to riverside. You had a cake and all☺️

i applies as a poly sci major and i got rejected by all the ucs except for merced and waitlisted at riverside. i didn't get in sdsu but i got accepted at cal poly which i'm going to attend. congrats to you tho! :)
I’m also a Poly as I major. Congratulations on SLO! My friend is going there next year and it’s a great school. College admissions were so weird this year but at least they’re over.

i got rejected from slo, sdsu, ucla, berkeley, ucsb, didnt apply to ucsd, waitlisted at ucsc + uc davis, accepted at csuf, sjsu, uc irvine + riverside :) i honestly was losing hope but it just shows that all schools are looking for something different, this years admissions was pretty weird and not to mention corona!! congrats on ur acceptances btw!!

Im a senior also! I applied to 14 schools in total, got accepted to 11, deferred by 1, and waiting on 2 more responses (i feel very braggy, sorry). I feel very lucky, but at the same time, I played it very safe by applying to mostly schools I knew I would be accepted to. But, just want to say congrats on everything, and I hope your future is full of blessings and you succeed in everything you put your heart and soul in.

I’m from class of 2020 but I’m not from the US or somewhere near it so in my country ( Kuwait ) we have one main university and a few of private universities so I don’t have a lot of options 😂

I applied to at least 20 because I was very doubtful about my stats and because my major is Nursing. I did get in to almost all. Got rejected from my dream school and I never opened my Tufts decision cuz I know the results of it. And I’m waiting for one more school (spelman college) This college process was really something else😂

Cierra Middleton They definitely accept out of state students. What I meant for in stage students is that they look at state standardized testing.

Aissata Amadou Thank you so much! The admissions process can be seen as complete luck. I had friends get into UCLA and get rejected at Berkeley while I got into Berkeley and rejected at UCLA. This process is not an accurate representation at all of who deserves to get in where. But congrats on yur acceptances too!
