A lot of people comment on how tightly I have my kick drum batter head.
I wanted to show you this. I loosened it as much as I could without having the lugs fall off.
It makes it a bit harder to play. But, it doesn't replace technique.

I prefer mine super loose, heavily dampened with a pillow and with felt beaters. I used axis e-kits for years and just switched to the footblaster. But thanks to another one of your videos, I realize that's why the RT-30K never triggered properly. Keep up the cool videos!

I play super loose and with a 24 ×18. It depends on the speed you need for the music you play. I have to admit i struggle with fast tempo but Hertas and pounding bassdrum, no Problem.

What Double Pedal are you using??? I have a DW 5000 Double pedal and I am thinking about putting a Trick Drums Drive Shaft on it to make it more smooth and Responsive. I have heard that it helps with speed too from other Drummers too.😊😊
