I’m asian who was raised that shoes of ANY kind indoors was a cardinal sin. Now I have a fancy pair of high-arch support memory foam slippers(or flipflops I guess), so your indoor sneakers are 100% valid. Also, your sewing/creating room is organized so satisfyingly. I wish my little creative corner was half as organized and satisfying to look at 😂
you get it!!!!!! I actually wasn't raised team no shoes but now that I've been living in nyc all my adult life, I can't understand how I ever did that :') and thank you for watching!!
My mom was super strict about no shoes in the house, which was honestly nice. Now in my own house we have ancient wood floors that have large gaps and produce massive splinters, so walking around barefoot is sketchy. I want to stick with house shoes only, but not sure what to do when guests are over 😅 For now we just don't say anything and let guests wear their regular shoes 🥲
@@Sleipnirseight Guest house shoes aka "guest slippers" might be an option for you! Dollar store flip flops, cheap slides, or actual slippers (but prolly not the fully soft-soled kind, to account for your splinter issue) in a few different sizes or one-size-fits-all for guests to swap into once they're inside. Just keep in mind how you'll wash them between guests (foot fungus and sweaty feet exist, washing is not optional unless they are single-use)- some styles are easier to hand-wash than others if a machine is not an option, but many can be added into regular loads of laundry.
We always had long-haired dogs… and I still do now too… carpets were always furry no matter how much I vacuum … so shoes were just normal. I always tell people it’s ok to wear shoes in my house, don’t have to take them off (I also don’t want to smell your feet!)…. you can see I have a dog and that my blue carpet is black with fur and tracked dog mud 😂 my house is lived in… the dog gets on the couch and bed if SHE wants… and I don’t care. My craftroom is different tho 😂 Clean and organised 🤗
As a neuro spicy person who struggles with keeping a clean place; this was so enlightening. The way you talked about finding happiness in functionality… I should reorganized my kitchen
My whole sharehouse is audhd, and we have our kitchen organised thusly: we keep things close to where we use them, including having a couple of specific spaces that are regularly used for one type of task, and having duplicates of things in multiple locations so we don't have to walk away to find something and get distracted! 🍳This means all the pots and stirring utensils and heat mats are near the stove. 🥕The compost bin is next to where we chop veggies. ☕We have extra teaspoons next to where we make tea (as well as mugs, kettle, sugar, teabags) as well as the ones in the cutlery drawer. 🍚We have a water dispenser next to the rice cooker, a measuring cup, and we keep a box of rice there too (refilled from a giant bag kept elsewhere). We also have every cupboard washi-tape labelled with a general category, and then some have more detailed contents descriptions on the inside of the door on sticky notes (so when the doors are closed it's not too visually cluttered)
I’m a perso who finds it difficult to keep my workspace clean a lot of the time, so the advice “Make it easy to PUT AWAY not GET TO” is actually like alightbulb moment- thanks lizard!
The woman who wrote The Art of Manipulating Fabric donated all of her samples to my university. I’ve held, felt, and played with many of them! Glad she gets love from others as well
"I don't want to rely on me being the best version of myself to be able to clean it up." ^^^This right here is the golden line I will be carrying with me as I continue my 3 year venture of attempting to organize my craft space. Thank you so much for sharing your space and how you've adapted it to fit your work style and flow!
Designing a space that doesn't rely on you always being your best self feels profoundly ground breaking but also like it should be glaringly obvious! Brb gonna redesign my house/life with that in mind
Awesome tour! I love how your place is organized, but in a realistic way. That one tip about Mari Kondo about "how things should be easy to put away" is something I'll keep in mind as I continue working on my work space ✨
They way you animatedly but realistically talk about crafting kinda kicked me out of a "no physical art only digital art" phase ive been stuck in for... what feels like years at this point, its very motivating how you talk about crafting while taking yourself into account and how being creative also comes with difficulties that people dont think about often
I really appreciate the depth! So many organizational videos just say "find the system that works for you," and I like that you included how you figured out that system for yourself and what that means practically.
I have a tip for getting your large cutting table dream without needing large cutting table space! My "craft room" also doubles as a guest bedroom (as it is only used for actually guests about 2-3x a year). Having a full-size bed in your craft room takes up a lot of space, so I bought a plywood board that is roughly the size of the bed and then bought a large quilter cutting mat to go on top (I got one that is not self-healing as its cheaper and is honestly holding up well with a cutting wheel.) BOOM! Large cutting table for 95% of the time, and headboard the last 5%. It cost me probably about $150 (not including the bed) and I (and my 30 yr old back/knees) am super pleased! Obviously, the bed isnt used daily like I assume your bed is but depending on your set up I think you could make it work for larger projects that you just need the cutting space and immediately put it away and still use the iron board for all the small stuff.
Foot Problems, floor troll cutting, collection of shiny things in jars, many little organizing boxes, and organized paper things. All Extremely relatable content. I love seeing things like this so I can really rethink my own crafting space and needs!! (like bins, for the shelves i have, holy smokes.) I loved this video!
i came for the aesthetically pleasing organization and stayed for deep dark lizard secrets. incredible video and incredible use of brain cells both creating the space and showing it off to the world. thanks for sharing!
i love that every part of your space carries so much history and memory. you've got me pumped to kickstart a day of crafting (and inevitable mess cleaning)!!
This is SO INSPIRING! My craft space is... a little rough. It's not BAD, it's been worse, but the message about making it easy to clean up is exposing so many issues that it's always had, but that I didn't understand!!
This helped me understand organizing that would help me *so* much. Like… multiple times my mind was blown. Your Lizard Wisdom moments? It lit up so many lightbulbs for me. I cannot tell you how genuinely grateful I am that you took the hours to film this and then the months to edit this in order to share it with us!
This is possibly the most organized and beautiful sewing rooms I have ever seen I can only aspire to make my own even a a fraction of how nice yours is! Mine looks like it endured every natural disaster at once 😂
Oh my gosh your workspace gives me SO MANY happy brain zoomies, just looking at the wall of rainbow fabrics delights me. Manifesting an art space that looks that good and works as well for me in the near future. I'd definitely love to see your process of setting everything up, for sure!
I don’t think I could put into words how much I appreciate this video. As someone who’s been contemplating moving to New York, I have been dreading how to cosplay in an apartment when I have been privileged to have so much room to craft in the past. Also, thank you so much for really going in depth about the way you store things. The comic book cardboard is literally in genius, and I definitely will be stealing that! Just thank you thank you thank you! Your videos are a ray of sunshine ❤
This came at just the right time! I moved out for the first time this year and have been focusing on learning to be a real human in the real world, but that has meant a lot of chaos in my space because it’s just not been my priority! But for the next year I finally have the funds and energy to. Buy a closet perhaps and actually turn my apartment into one that functions! I’ve been crafting so much more and the storage methods I have are just Not cutting it anymore!
As someone who needs more organization (and less clutter/junk) in his life, I applaud your efforts and skills to create a space of your own. I am planning to install a shed in my parents' backyard that will be multifunction - wood working shop, office, exercise room, VR/gaming room, and general crafting (including sewing) room. It'll be a bit bigger than your place is, but for all I plan to put into it, I'll still need to be organized and tidy about what I put, where.
It's your home. If you wanna wear shoes you can wear shoes especially if it aids in your health/comfort. Your fabric shelf is probably my favorite 😊 the rainbow organization is everything 😭💛
this was amazing. I didn't realise I needed people overexplaining their spaces to me in my life as much as I apparently do. So thanks for this video! Also, "I don't want to rely on me being the best version of myself to be able to clean it up." is a great piece of wisdom that I will try to keep in mind as I move into a new space soon.
I love how compassionate are to yourself. As an ADHD chaos demon of many crafts myself, you've given me some really good ideas on how to better approach the spaces I simply cannot brain right now. Thank you for your unerring honesty, it's been a fun education.
This is literally how I organize my space, it is so nice to share the same giddiness and excitement about organizing (but in the cool making things totally accessible for yourself way) that someone else has! I get so excited to go the thrift store when I have run out of all of my items that help me organize and collect them until future me has space or a need for them. I just moved and now I have a space all to myself that I can do all of my silly little projects in and that is so exciting, thank you for this video.
My mom always said that “everything has a home”, so when i was younger and even now its so easy to put stuff back where it goes once i decide thats its home😊 this video reminded me of that. I cant say I haven’t lost things but it really just goes back to me not taking it home😅.
I've just moved flats and reorganising everything has been one of the most delightful things about it - and I've found i've got a bunch of empty storage containers now i've got more space! Watching this was super cosy :D
This was so entertaining and also inspiring to watch. I'm a knitter who for the first time has an entire room I can dedicate to storing and organizing my stash (along with some other things) and I've been so stuck trying to figure out what works for my needs that it's led to piles of stuff all around the rest of my apartment. Personally I'd love to see the footage of the cosplay kon-marie method you created for yourself. Love your content, and am eagerly looking forward to what comes next!
This video was so insanely validating for all my organizational impulses, and now I simply must go through my own crafting spaces and optimize them!! You gave me MANY ideas
The algorithm blessed me with this video and honestly I love how thoughtful you were about this space. I quit cosplay years and years ago, but I’ve been thinking about pursuing a career in tailoring and am absolutely subscribing.
Watching this video without distractions was my reward for meeting my daily sewing goal AND IT WAS SOOO ✨WORTH IT✨ (currently handsewing down 12 yards of lace and some fur, but broken up over 2 weeks to not get overwhelmed) Cant wait for more content in general but definitely for the Lavender town witch!
The shoes part for in the house I totally, and I mean TOTALLY get, especially when you have to stand for longer, I actually have a pair of slippers and a pair of sneakers (in the winter) so I can stand comfortable cause I have high arch issues too. I also just love watching this, you have such a wonderful lil space for yourself!
If I had just one project going, I'd totally have a drawer - I borrowed someone else's idea though (I can't remember who) and keep my projects in large ziplock bags, since they're clear and movable
1. I love this video! It's so satisfying and inspiring! I'm at work while I watch this but I just wanna clean and organize my crafts now. 2. Yes on house shoes! I've got bad knees and it makes such a difference if I wear supportive shoes even while I craft or clean my house.
As someone who has spent no less than 20 minutes explaining the pros and cons of the three different reusable water bottles I have and doing an in depth comparison to each one totally unprompted at my friends before, I felt this tour deeply. I'm currently overhauling my bedroom since I've had to come to terms with living at home for a lot longer than I anticipated (thanks panini) so I love watching videos like this because they have great ideas. The vertical space usage is really inspiring (I super need tall boy shelves), and I just realized how much I need a storage ottoman. And don't ever let anyone tell you that shopping for months for an extremely precise storage solution isn't worth the time. I too had spent so long looking at drawer organizers to make sure I'd get something that was exact to my needs. I loved this video.
I moved out a couple of months ago into a single-room apartament and knew that I had to make the space incredibly efficient to fit everything i like doing and ended up squaring off a corneer with two shelving units as my workspace (and by workspace i mean crafting + computer, my job doesn't require a desk) and ive been inkling to explain to people how I love how optimised this space is ever since but nobody wanted to listen to me blabbering about my drawer unit and shelved trashcan. This video made me feel seen and understood on a deeper level. Sometimes organised space just hits different, especially when you finally learn how to make your space fit you and your habits and not the other way around
Yes PLEASE to the in process video of you formulating your konmari system! That's exactly the kind of satisfying logic that got me into interior design in the first place!
It’s so nice to see someone who has such a plethora of crafts set up an organized space that is small! My studio is 9-10 and you gave me a ton of ideas to help things get stored more effectively.
Ah, how lovely it is to see that I'm not the only one who loves going into sytems and optimizations for the pure joy of process and the continuous joy that reaults give! I have intentionally moved to a smaller apartment so I could have space restrictions and explore multi-functional space use. Visual neatness means a lot to me. When I come home or even wake up in the morning, I want to have a freah start. If I come into a mess, my energy gets sapped. The main room of my apartment is the living room that has chill sofa area, and all my crafts each in their box/container in the allocated placement. So I do yarn crafts, sewing, a bit of soldering and woodwork, but this room is also my gym every morning. And if you walk into it on non-crafting time, all you see is a neat and bright living room. Every craft box and tool drawer have particular system to them. And same goes for every single otherwise regular storage spaces (dresser, bathroom, etc). I'm really glad that the YT algorithm decided this could be a video for me. Never seen anyone else over-explaining their systems (except for myself to my less-enthusiastic friends 😅), but I'm here for it!!! And also: massive kudos and bonus points for "these people are not my target audience". Everyone's happiness is each their own responsibility. Stay true to yourself and your content! Glad to have discovered your channel ❤
Your craft room is gorgeous!!it’s so nice how you’ve clearly made it yours. All the little items with nostalgia turned functional is so heartwarming. (I was absolutely dying laughing about the six *visible* packages of Orbit in the drawer. Just the implication of possibly *more* packages of Orbit was too much for me. Three cheers for buying bulk! 💜)
You’re freaking amazing and this was one hell of an awesome journey to see how you organize your space. Thank you for being so coherent with how you manage your workspace. ❤😇
Your space is just incredible, so many top notch organizational details! Thank you so much for taking the time to make and edit this beautiful video of your space. So many of your comments rang true for me, I hope to make some time to make my space work better for me, with you as my inspiration!
This video inspired my partner to go through their tools storage cube. They're telling me all about what they've got in there, which includes exactoblades and thread and patterns and a hot glue gun and much more. This box has been very, very intimidating for them to approach, but your video made them excited to dig into it and sort whats there. A very big thank you from both of us!
I’m a former cosplayer turned potter/painter and stumbled back across your content after not seeing it for a few years. I was looking for studio inspiration for my work space in our new house, and I can’t explain how helpful this was!! Even though I’ve gotten away from sewing and cosplay, this video still helps to apply itself to my pottery studio. I can’t wait to see more content like this if you choose to share more 🥰
Honestly, spending so much time trying to organise the room makes so much sense, though! Spending time in a room, let alone working there and spending most of the day there, if it doesn't make you happy can get you down real bad over time. Go chase that serotonin! ✨ If I ever get to have a room like that for myself that's also so inspiring to actually do the work
28:00 “I don’t want to rely on me being the best version of myself to be able to clean it up” is something I need to internalize, thank you so much for that line it’s gonna stick with me
This pushed me to organize my art supplies a bit more. I have a LOT of supplies and I keep them all in my room, and I REALLY struggle with organizing them, but this made the task feel a little more manageable :)
Love it! Totally agree with the no more than 2 stacks rule. Also hells yes to indoor shoes. When I transitioned to working full time on my sewing stuff I ended up doing physio for a while because my feet were hella mad from me standing all day and then I was told to wear proper supportive footwear in my room so here we are lol.
I 100% take off my outside shoes and put on my inside shoes whenever I get home. Foot support is definitely necessary! Also, I'm in the process of figuring out how I want to organize my own craft room and nowni have so many good ideas! Thank you!!!
Lizard Wisdom: 1. Display the things the energize you 2. Leave room to grow into your space 3. Make things easy to put away 4. Avoid stacking things 5. Buying "storage solutions" solves nothing Thanks for sharing!! This is so lovely and transparent ❤️
watching this is giving me a lot of motivation and tips for organizing. I'm currently in my last month of a two-year boarding school stay so my room (and especially my wardrobe) is gonna need a lot of fixing and sorting. all this lizard wisdom is gonna be great
Honestly just seeing your workspace second hand with your thread and fabrics displayed neatly is serotonin inducing. Like watching you chat to camera about plans/progress while trying (mostly successfully) not to spill tea everywhere makes me want to get to work too. Was not prepared for that fiesta blend jumpscare though jfc 😂
i really appreciate how you brought up the lqack of co-workers being a thing when you work from home/yourself like this. sometimes people dont take it into consideration and it can be very crushing!
I'm sooo glad I had talked through SO many aspects of full time content creation before I took the jump! Still an impossible learning curve, but at least I knew what I was getting myself into!
Thank you for sharing your thought process and a peek into how you created a storage organization that works for you. Seeing ideas like yours have pointed me in a direction to bring order to the chaos in my sewing room.
I stumbled upon this video by accident, truthfully, and while I have a close friend in the cosplay community, it's not something I see myself ever taking part in (sewing is NOT my thing, despite many attempts!). However, I feel so inspired by how carefully & intentionally you've constructed your space. I'm in other areas of the maker community, and organizing my craft space has been a (expensive) series of trial & error and trying to keep up with what is aesthetically pleasing or seems to work for everyone else, without thinking about what will work for me. (I didn't even think "anti-storage cubes" was a take one could have but I feel freed in admitting I agree!!) I feel like you just told me the seven secrets of the world for free. I have no idea if you'll read this comment, but truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to film and share this space with us and a bit of your thinking process💜
This couldn't have come at a better time for me, as I'm setting up my own craft/sewing room now that I have space for it. And the make-your-own-bolts for trim has made my little collector brain make excited noises. I'm suddenly super keen to reuse old boxes and spend some quality time with shallow drawers. Thank you Lizard!!
This inspires me so so deeply on so many different fronts! Thank you for sharing your maker space and all the organizational solutions you’ve employed to optimize it! Prioritizing the ease of tidying is going to be how I move forward in my own spaces!
I'm sick and needed this cause I can't be in my craft room right now, this is such a good overshare into your workspace and I am obsessed. I need to see more of how people organise their craft rooms now cause it's so interesting and you get such great ideas and thoughts ❤ my little adhd heart is happy!
all of your content is always so surreal to me as a fellow they/them leigh with a beloved lizard pet... but also as a designer / maker with an obsessively optimized making space i do art / events / miniatures rather than cosplay but i do also sew! i keep that exact ruler attached to one of my metal shelves with a magnet because drawers are zones of death in my system 😅 loved seeing the walkthrough of your space!
This has me so inspired to organize my craft room! I’m sick at the moment so I don’t have the energy to actually move things, but this gave me some great ideas and motivation to start the planning phase. Thank you for sharing the way you organize as well as your reasoning behind everything! Also I am SO excited you are going to be doing a Churles cosplay!!! I adore ooblets it’s the absolute best comfort game
I'm in the middle of organizing my craft room and watching this was SO helpful for me. I'm looking into that Bisley 5 drawer thing because I think it would suit similar needs in my own space. Also hearing someone else put into words so many of the things I need in order to keep my space inspiring and exciting was such a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being you.
Thank you for sharing this! My craft room is a total mess, and as a result, I end up not getting anything done because I don't want to deal with the mess. This video inspires me to try to clean up my space and get organized!
I love your organization and your journey! I just became a full time freelancer myself for digital art and I'm loving it and can't wait to expand into the other avenues it leads down. Its a lot of hard work, of course, and I've always been prepared for that, I love seeing other creator's with drive and passion for what they do, I would love to hear about personal stories from you about the prior jobs you've done freelancing!
Wow! I wish I could keep my creative space half as clean. I too quit my job and had the chance to pursue my dream of doing costuming for a living. It's no lie that you do what you can to keep the lights on while doing this business. You have my support! Liked and subscribed!
Yessss this is the exact content I enjoy, thank you for sharing the wonderful detail of storage options and thought you put into making this space work for you. I love processes and seeing how things work and understanding how people use their spaces so for you to show "this corner has these items and I use them in this context and then store them like this" hit a really special specific part of my brain Thank you for sharing! 😊💜💜💜💜
One of my greatest buys was a folding table from ikea (with storage drawers on the central module). Folded, it's sitting back to my sofa and my cats use it as a shelf, opened, it's a full lenght table and I love it so much!
I love this video so much, when I gained an actual crafting space I made sure every tiny thing had a place but as I type this I sit in a pile of unfinshed costumes and mess! I was about to go on a total organization spree and your video came out at the perfect time! I would love to the process video from a few years ago
I love the idea of a work in progress drawer. I use those big reusable grocery bags to toss all my work in progress stuff in when I know I won't be coming back to it immediately! It helps that the bags are cute and I don't mind then hanging around (literally lol)
i also do my cutting on the floor if it's too big for my ironing board. i love the bolts you used for trim and fabric it looks amazing and is more efficient. the wall art by the desk is so cute!!
Thanks so much for this. I also started pursuing my dream (costume designer for drag/burlesque!!) just about 2 years ago and honestly it's really tough. I'm so priviledged and fortunate to have a supportive partner so I can do all this. It's nice to know that I'm not a failure just because I haven't "made it" money wise- but fully acknowledge the gift the is to be able to pursue this. Trust all your videos have been my constant companion for this past week, you're a gem!
Early this year I did a full clean and clear of my room so now I use the top half of my bookshelf/storage for my cosplays. I only work on cosplays when I’m not busy with school (so not a lot). But it’s really nice to have this small conner of my room just dedicated for that and fully sorted. I only have a small room so it really matters for me to have that space. I’m excited for the future for when I might have a full room like yours. Your such an inspiration
I've honestly been waiting for you to post this. I recently discovered your channel through RUclips shorts and the FIRST thing my eyes went to was your set up so I've been so curious. I will be taking tips for when I eventually have my own work space that's not a part of my bedroom
i've been meaning to reorganize my office space/craft space so the timing with this video is perfect!! Definitely going to be using the fabric storage you have. thank you!
I'm slowly thinking through setting up a craft/sewing space which also doubles as a guest room and this has been so inspirational. Really appreciate you talking through the thought process behind your organization - definitely syncs with how I think about things.. my organizational brain juices are flowing so much thank you thank you!
Follow up to really appreciate the observation of avoiding the pitfall of trying to most "efficiently" using all the space available. As a long term small-space liver that is definitely where I fail often (no this drawer needs to hold ALL the things it can to be useful!)
I love to craft and I love Mari Kondos books but I was unable to tackle my craft stuff along with the rest of my house, so I assumed that would mean it would forever be the corner of shame. This video was very inspiring for me to see how you applied her method specifically to your cosplay supplies and I'm excited to try again!

bro the way i GASPED when they said that 😭🥺🙏💕 fr though!!!
so iconic :')))

I love seeing things like this so I can really rethink my own crafting space and needs!! (like bins, for the shelves i have, holy smokes.) I loved this video!
i came for the aesthetically pleasing organization and stayed for deep dark lizard secrets. incredible video and incredible use of brain cells both creating the space and showing it off to the world. thanks for sharing!
i love that every part of your space carries so much history and memory. you've got me pumped to kickstart a day of crafting (and inevitable mess cleaning)!!
that's such a lovely way of putting it!! i love being surrounded by all the things I've done, you know? it's just neat!
This is SO INSPIRING! My craft space is... a little rough. It's not BAD, it's been worse, but the message about making it easy to clean up is exposing so many issues that it's always had, but that I didn't understand!!
I was so very lovely to see your crafting space. The part with space to make clean-up easier spoke to my little ADHD heart. Thank you 💜
Really appreciate how in-depth this tour is. You made organizing look like a total blast!✨
it REALLY was! and thanks for watching!!
The Fabric Goblins would LOVE to see the original footage you have of putting together that beautiful storage corner. SO PRETTY 😍
Watching this video without distractions was my reward for meeting my daily sewing goal AND IT WAS SOOO ✨WORTH IT✨ (currently handsewing down 12 yards of lace and some fur, but broken up over 2 weeks to not get overwhelmed)
Cant wait for more content in general but definitely for the Lavender town witch!
oh my gosh that is soooo much handsewing, congrats on making it happen!!
@@HeyLizardLeigh thanks! It def feels neverending 😂 but I'm happy with it so far!
I love the idea of a drawer for work in progress stuff! That is such a clever way to keep from cluttering other horizontal spaces.
If I had just one project going, I'd totally have a drawer - I borrowed someone else's idea though (I can't remember who) and keep my projects in large ziplock bags, since they're clear and movable
I use cube bins or baskets for each project bits. As I need the ‘out’ to keep out so I don’t abandon them or start another new project
1. I love this video! It's so satisfying and inspiring! I'm at work while I watch this but I just wanna clean and organize my crafts now.
2. Yes on house shoes! I've got bad knees and it makes such a difference if I wear supportive shoes even while I craft or clean my house.
I LOVE how detailed this video is!! I’d love ur version on Konmari!
Just film it and post it to RUclips I'm sure it will help people with similar struggles
Everything lined up so meticulously is so satisfying to look at.
HAHAHA I usually buy..... twelve packs. they're just so much cheaper than buying single packs ;;
If I ever get to have a room like that for myself that's also so inspiring to actually do the work
Having your stuff both organized and visible is goals.
Really, really loved how in-depth and organized this video is. Watching it gave me sooo much serotonin, it was amazing!
I 100% take off my outside shoes and put on my inside shoes whenever I get home. Foot support is definitely necessary!
Also, I'm in the process of figuring out how I want to organize my own craft room and nowni have so many good ideas! Thank you!!!
27:39 thank you, this has been a struggle for me when organizing and this is a new way of hearing this and it is so amazing!!!
Lizard Wisdom:
1. Display the things the energize you
2. Leave room to grow into your space
3. Make things easy to put away
4. Avoid stacking things
5. Buying "storage solutions" solves nothing
Thanks for sharing!!
Still an impossible learning curve, but at least I knew what I was getting myself into!
i’m not really into cosplay, but this truly made me appreciate them more, not only that but this room is so satisfying to my pea brain!!
I think i have watched this like 5 times, i adore it. The explanations the comfort the colours. This is ny comfort video that actually makes me tidy
Thank you for sharing your thought process and a peek into how you created a storage organization that works for you. Seeing ideas like yours have pointed me in a direction to bring order to the chaos in my sewing room.
A space that is easy to clean and easy to put things back yes!!!!
I LOVE seeing how other cosplayers organize! I'm definitely going to adopt the fabric bolt storage! Thank you for sharing! 😍
This is the most organized craft room I've EVER seen! Congrats on getting it to where its at! Also, I appreciate that you are also a floor troll.
i literally re-organized my crafting stuff while watching this, i loved this thank you
This inspires me so so deeply on so many different fronts!
I need to see more of how people organise their craft rooms now cause it's so interesting and you get such great ideas and thoughts ❤ my little adhd heart is happy!
all of your content is always so surreal to me as a fellow they/them leigh with a beloved lizard pet... but also as a designer / maker with an obsessively optimized making space
i do art / events / miniatures rather than cosplay but i do also sew! i keep that exact ruler attached to one of my metal shelves with a magnet because drawers are zones of death in my system 😅
loved seeing the walkthrough of your space!
Wow your level of organization is super inspiring
Watching to steal all these ideas for my sewing room lol
It's so.... pretty. 😍 The organization. The colours. Love it.
I love processes and seeing how things work and understanding how people use their spaces so for you to show "this corner has these items and I use them in this context and then store them like this" hit a really special specific part of my brain
Thank you for sharing!
I would love to the process video from a few years ago
seeing all these organisation systems make my heart so happy
Sewing? Deep dive into organization, especially related to a special interest? Absolutely yes, please and thank you!
I love the idea of a work in progress drawer. I use those big reusable grocery bags to toss all my work in progress stuff in when I know I won't be coming back to it immediately! It helps that the bags are cute and I don't mind then hanging around (literally lol)
This video literally inspired me to get out a sewing project I've had sat aside for a while that's for a Christmas present.
i also do my cutting on the floor if it's too big for my ironing board. i love the bolts you used for trim and fabric it looks amazing and is more efficient. the wall art by the desk is so cute!!
I loved the fabric storage. I should incorporate it into my sewing room.
Your thumbnail nails how I feel when I organize my spaces. Like Y E S, someone gets it!!! Pure optimization!
the teapot drawers are so cute!
Your such an inspiration
the way I feel so seen for the vibing and keeping it tight bit
