As a Packers fan/owner, it pains me to say this! LOL! This is hands down, the BEST post-game analysis in the league! If Seth hasn't turned down an opportunity, how on earth is he not an NFL head coach yet (or at least a defensive coordinator)? His football IQ is absolutely off the charts! I am going to contact Gutey (Packers GM) and instruct him to hire Seth ASAP! LOL!

Thank you, Seth, for illustrating what many die-hard eagles fan like myself have been saying about hurts. He doesn't and will never read the field like the many quarterback in the nfl can do.
I agree. I don't understand why people think its so great when he takes off running, often it's because he's not seeing the field and open receivers.
Great show Seth. Love how honest you are about the team. You definitely need some clips from the live show and upload those to grow the channel.
Vic Fangio is known for playing prevent defense at the end. Anyone remember Tennessee at Miami last year? They were winning 27-14 with 4 min left and the Titans came back to win 28-27. He's terrible in end of game scenarios. Siriani also opting to go for it instead of taking the points on the 1st or 2nd drive? Then throwing it after Atlanta calls their last timeout when they only needed 3 yards? Run the ball, they been gashing them all night. Worst case scenario is you kick the fg and give them the ball back with less than a minute left. That's how coaching can lose you a football game.

When the other team has no TO let the damn clock run, even if you have to get a delay of game. Coach took a risk on the pass to Barkley and it blew up in his face. Then the D just allowed them to march down the field with no resistance. Cousins is good, but he ain’t that good.
Did anyone catch the play when Bryce Huff was fixing his helmet while chasing the running back?
The Eagles need to hire Seth Joyner as Defensive Coordinator! The only down side to that is being deprived of his excellent commentary! My sister and I proudly wear our Joyner Jerseys on a regular basis - he was a great player - he gave 100% every snap every single play. His observations and analysis are intelligent, articulate and laser-focused. Plus, I just like his personality. He cares seemingly more than the current Eagles coaching staff!

Vic running nickel at the end of the game rather than dime was pretty dumb. I honestly blame that decision in the first quarter not to kick a field goal. I knew that would come back to bite us. To early in the game to go for a 4th down it’s like this ever year. Take the points not gonna get lucky every time. It’s dumb coaching that 3 would’ve won us the game. Also are defense is definitely lacking talent on the dline and some other areas as well.
At the end of the game since they decided to throw it and it didn’t work. Hey it happens might as well just went for it again on 4th down I mean why not. Went for it in the 1st quarter what’s the difference. So many dumb coaching mistakes.

You could have one of your linebackers spy Kamara. Derek car is less mobile than Kirk cousins. Run the ball, and eat the clock. Keep them off off the field. If you can stop Kamara, and win the time of possession, you can win the game. Learn from your mistakes from this week. When you have points readily available, put them on the board. No need to go for fourth and three on the 7 yard line.inexcusable. Especially early in the game. Get the points on the board.
Seth is 100 percent right about Goedert. We should be using him more while he’s healthy. He is the perfect person to break the monotony of Brown, Smith or Barkley because they will be too predictable for the defense. Great show guys. Y’all are always on point.

any casual fan knows you run it on 3rd and 3 when the other team has no timeouts left.

I think they should've went for it atlfter the Barkley drop, why not turnover on downs when u in the redzone instead the fg they was already tied up
I can agree with this but damn if your defensive play calling allows a 74 yard TD drive then it probably would've made little difference.

Worst case they tie it.
And idk Barkley can pick up extra 5 yards or so even if they don't make it you're forcing them to go 90 to 95 yards.
You don't go for it early when you could have just taken an easy three, but when you need to ice it, you settle.

The defense is the biggest problem
Seth is totally right about Jalen Hurt and the offensive scheme. Jalen is only locked in to his two receivers and not utilizing his TE who is a top 5 Tight End. I don’t blame Goebert if he leaves after this year. Kansas and Niners they utilize their TEs to their full potential. Andy Reid will make Dallas look like the best TE.
DGunn nails this whole debate on the proverbial head.
At some point since our superbowl win. this "bend but dont break" philosophy became the subject of a religious pursuit.
We then proceeded to build our future entire draft and recruitment strategy on players deemed "suitable" to play in this defensive style.
Truth is, it got exposed in the game that matters the most (Superbowl) and when we tanked last season.
There is a myth that Howie can conjure trade and draft picks into our favour but these choices are set up for failure because of this aversion to play press or man. Our linebackers and secondary are taught to stick to zone and gift speedy receivers enough leverage to get open.

Love Seth keeping it real. He articulates what we all feel. Why Howie hasn't hired him is beyond me. Look, this team is in DEEP trouble. Jalen's decision-making and defense reading is horrible. Defense line pressure is non-existent and Vangio has no answers. This is going to be a long season!
That's on coaching tho who's developing him into a pocket passer nobody they actually aid him not being a pocket passer by giving him all these designed runs

The coaching staff let Jalen Hurts progression as a QB down. He bails too early and never steps into the pocket. That's a mechanics thing which can be fixed but it can only be fixed if you have a good coach teaching him these things and he's in year 5 and still has never had a GREAT QB Coach. Instead of giving Jalen designed runs make him step up into the pocket and make a throw. We're doing what the Redskins did to RG3 just running him into the ground.
I never though I would miss Jim Schwartz this much. He had his issues ! But at least he would bring some pressure. At least Jim Schwartz defense was always good vs the run.

It's good Huff's number is 0, because his production is literally 0 so it keeps everything simple and accurate.

Only thing i somewhat disagree with seth on is toward the end when he said we had to "find a way to win". We didnt need to find a way to win this game. We had the game WON. We actually had this game won a couple times. We just found a way to lose at the last minute literally.

Love this channel. Seth is so spot on. He tells it like it is or at least how he sees it. Would be great to have him as a coach but he is way too smart for that. Too much bullshit to put up with. I get it. If he does join Green Bay I would split my time between both Eagles and Packers. I will always be an Eagles fan for life but lets be honest. Eagles are a good team. Great players with average coaches equals good team.
People, relax. They didn’t play any pre-season games. New coordinators. That falls on my head coach, and he’s a dope for not letting them play in the preseason. But, it is what it is. Hopefully, we find our way. I’m confident we will. As a matter fact, I’m confident we win against the Saints easily next week.

Steve spagnuolo is A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER THEN VIC FANGIO. He is a pressure/ blitz co-ordinator that changes it up, and will adjust . He has coached with so many teams .

Goedert gotta be utilized. Point blank period. If they don't use him in the actual passing game, he should leave next year. He's a difference maker even when he doesn't have the target on the play. He needs to be featured much more

The bigger picture is the question Seth always looks at. Where are the Eagles in terms of being competitive going forward? Not in a very good position. It's mostly coaching and personnel which is everything. So how do you deal with everything being wrong?

3 means nothing. At worst they tie it and have to go 90+ yards if you just run it and pick up a few on 4th down and the clocks running. Despite everything that happened, this would made it 10x harded for them to score. So this implosion lies squarely on Siriani. It should've never happened. I cant waste my time watching this incompetence.
