Nahh ... the videographer didn't really do justice to the backup dancer. They all took time to practice to get in sync, but half of them were barely in frame. What a waste of time ...
i think they get a fair amount of screen time?? well, if we look at even aespa's performances, especially in music shows or awards, their backup dancers don't get shown too 🤷🏻♀️ (probably even WAY less than in this vid) since music shows prioritizes the idols' looks and screen time. it is why they are called "backups". ofc they work hard too, to ensure a performance is delivered as best as possible. but the main focal point in the performance would be the members, and in this case, the dancers dancing as "aespa members". so i say the backups get a fair amount of screen time here.
I agree with Khlaliesa (person above me) alot. and also, they're called the backup dancers for a reason, they're supposed to enhance the dance, make it more detailed. I understand that they also worked hard but it's their job to do that. Calling this a waste of time isn't also the best way to give an opinion. I think their performance was great?
