@whitezombie10 no that's not what I meant dude, I meant that the best soviet battle against Germany in ww2 that it had a lot of casualties (actually idk if it's true but I don't give a shit)
Since it doesn’t has to worry about a frontline on its borders, the USA can just spam divisions and if you invade it late game it will have at least 10 divisions per tile, what I’ve found is that the most effective way to fight is to get a guy with the “amphibious” trait and naval invade every port posible, then, when you have the ports use the sacred time between your landing and enemy reinforcements arriving to gain as much terrain as you can, that will stretch their frontline and resources, when you’ve taken enough ports just merge your armies and advance towards enemy territory, it ain’t easy neither, but I think is the most efficient way
I'm sorry, did you just complain about not having Anti-Tank researched? I could have sworn every other disaster save you talk about AT being "useless in single player."
AT is useless in SP, normally because you have tanks that do their job. This is one of the very VERY few cases where you would actually want it. Hence Bitter not researching it, because he didn’t think he’d need it. For piercing purposes, Support AA normally does the job (mainly because the AI is an idiot and can’t build tanks correctly. Same idea for planes and boats.) Anything aside from the Division Designer (and thats questionable at times as well) the AI is very bad at actually using. It’s to the point where the Historical Presets might actually be better in a lot of cases.
I’ve beat usa late game only a few times, in which they had superior air. It was a late WC for uk and for some reason I felt doing usa last. I had a decent airforce but not enough - so had to strategically place it all in one area to drop nukes which ultimately won it after around a year. Then all majors were gone and the WC was practically complete
Max level AA with the infantry piercing upgrades can often pierce AI mediums. The issue is that the Design Companies have thrown that math off if the AI decides to use the companies that grant armor buffs
Why not take Mexico and go up from there, I do it all the time when I play any south American nation as the US ai tends to lightly defend the Mexican border.
dude, i was makin a hoi4 game with all research and intant construction with paraguay, joined comintern, killed axis and allies, but the usa would NOT give up, its a save game i might put on public, i dunno.
Im going to be honest i think im going to start using support AT on my divisions, i swear even the ai tank divisions, if they have enough, cannot be pierced

Most painful invasions are like 1947 against 20 divisions per tile with a laggy game

That's why you give your naval invasion troops anti air
Exactly.
anti air doesn't pierce mediums also when invading you usually want to have as on your side
Does that work? I wouldn't assume anti air would do anything while troops are at sea
