Very cool, I like your way of cleaning the filter. It may not be right, and it may not be wrong. It’s clean when you’re done. Thanks. PS I like the background music 👍
Uni and most oil companies make foam and paper filter oil made specifically for oiling filters. I don't remember which I used in this video but Maxima is a brand that I use. Here's a link amzn.to/3dP2OKh
@@MichaelSabo you used aerosol PJ1 which is popular. Thanks for this video. All kinds of videos for cleaning filters but not for the uni pod filter so thank you!

LA's Awesome and some Dawn dish soap, both can be had at the dollar store, works amazing. 2$, all clean
Hey, what's the oil that you use on the outer layer? I just rub a tiny bit engine oil on it, would prefer designated foam filter oil

@@shaneconlon3850 i used to oil the outer part only
I dont have access to wooder, will just plain water work?
No, gotta be wooder
Love the background music and thanks for the tips.🤘🏼
How long do you leave it to dry once you’ve oiled it?
Do you still use that filter and does it show degradation
What kind of oil should i use? Thank you
Ehat kind of uni air filter is that?
What diameter filter are you using ?
I picked up some 3” by 6” filters for 35mm carbs
What size is it ?
Would normal engine degreaser work?
Fuck yea, I gotta clean mine
Haha, so easy and you'll be glad you did.
Nice, gasoline works great too.
Haven't tried that, but I did notice when you spray a filter with starting fluid, it leaves a clean spot
Gas will destroy your foam filter. Just google it and you won’t use gas again
I used carb cleaner then gas. The carb cleaner cleaned my dang uni stamp off🤷👍
