I must say the Falcons and Glanville did see something noone else did in Favres arm explaining why he made clear he was never going to play but put him out there to throw the ball before the game...turned a 2nd round pick into a 1st too bad it backfired.

Got to love a guy that likes running bulldozers and heavy equipment in his spare time. I always liked how he kept to his rural roots, a 'good ol' boy' in the truest sense. Ive been a Bears fan most of my life. Favre for me was impossible to hate, even when I tried. He exemplified everything I want to see in a QB. The leadership, style, charisma, the humility,
The sense of humor, the accountability, the arm strength, the durability and courage. He absolutely dominated the Chicago Bears for most of his time in the league. His replacement is the total opposite of a lot of the things that made Favre so great, and he is really easy to hate.

I was really young when he played and Ive watched a lot of highlights of him. He was exciting, the decision of a gunslinger he had amazing great plays and amazing blunders, intercepts at the most awful times. But that’s what made Brett great, he wasn’t afraid to try anything.
Mike knew how to coach him, he limited the interceptions at times, he won three straight MVP’s won a Super Bowl. One of the greatest qb’s to ever play in the National Football League. Had all quarterback stats when he retired, wins, yards touchdowns.

A popular Packers writer said the Packers really underachieved. They really did in Favre’s time. He has 3 straight shots. 95, they’re leading into the 4th Quarter in Dallas. Then he throws a pick in the red zone and costs them the game. 97, they were good enough to beat the Broncos. Favre is the MVP, Antonio Freeman has his breakout season. They have a great O-Line and the defense is still crazy powerful. But they were CRAZY overconfident. Bob Harlen (the president of the team) was shocked that when they came out for halftime, they had so spark, life, whatever you want to call it. They were flat and they played that way. If they played their best, they would have won that game.
This is probably the big game that keeps the head coach Mike Holmgren out of the HOF. He didn’t adjust to the Broncos and just kept throwing even tho Denver was playing to stop Favre. They were just crowding the line of scrimmage daring Favre to throw and they just kept throwing. Why didn’t they run? It’s not like they couldn’t. Their RB Dorsey Levens rushed for over 1400 yards.
It’s really disappointing how much they underachieved.

Lifelong Niner fan here. Thru the '90's I hated when we had to play Green Bay! Farve was such a nuisance; sometimes we won, other times we would lose. When we were ahead, you'd wonder "what the puck is Favre gonna do now?" I developed a TON of respect and admiration for my him, my enemy.

31:39 LOL...can you imagine a father playing like that with his kids today and having it filmed? I remember my dad would horse around with us like that back way back when, but he'd be fired from his job and thrown in prison now if that were captured on a phone and someone saw it. If you're not putting your little boys in dresses and painting their nails for them now, it's child abuse.

The "other" SB he didn't play in? XLII against the Giants....Patriots could have 8 SB wins and a perfect season....but nooo. haha. No, I'm not bitter....always wanting more. But not here...Brett is a SB winner.

She thought that it would only be fair if she allowed me to do the same with the girl of my dreams. I agreed. She asked me who it would be so we could seal the deal. Jennifer Aniston? Sandra Bullock?
Nope. I pointed at the girl across the street.
