I'll only agree with you because the product we pay with is ourselves keeping the community alive and being beaten by spenders, so they feel they get something for their money. So that's how we end up paying.

You cannot get to 90+ coins unless you spend money to buy 5 coins (still needs luck if you fight Carrie) or spend 1250 starry gems, so f* up imo. Every event we need to spend a huge amount of Starry Gems, which is an item you cant get anywhere for free. Cheaper SR packages should also include the event's items, and not only Treasure Tickets

As f2p should I spend my starty gems this week or wait for the Chinese new year? I am desperate for destiny materials at this point,I have only made aspen d1 even though I have 2 more heroes ready for transitioning. Soon I will have a 4th ready I only miss 2 core chests
Depends how many SG you want to spend - you can very much reach at least one stage of the Destiny Materials, just by either having good rng or Awakenings few heroes. You could also spend more to reach the lower tiers. There definitely will be at least one Card event that will give you around 800 SG before Chinese NY, though, so if you would like to spend a lot, but still miss something - you should save. This looks like the modern version of the bigger events - this version of Treasury likely will be the thing you should expect and right now you need to usually spend around 1000-1250 SG to reach 30 of the currency to hit one tier of Destiny materials. 2500 allowed at least 2 tiers of Destiny rewards. But either it will be WC, PO, Scrolls or just gems - this is the same event we likely only gonna get. This event specifically is ok to just go low effort, because there is some variation with rng on how many banknotes you get for how much stuff you spend.

It's because if you bought the csg packs, at store 6 you could trade 1 snowman for 200 csg so you'd end up with stuff and net positive csg
