I get what you are saying. I do. But this is in the old Lowe's building right off I10, well lit, their corporate headquarters are there and they have security. Also, I love that they purposely chose NOLA East since nothing has come back that way since Katrina. There are now a bunch of new businesses right there off of Read. Maybe they can turn it around. I remember the days of driving over to go the Maison Blanche!
Oh! I donated that Tanya Taylor! I had 4 of them all size 2 from boutique by the box and got tired of looking at them! I sold one. I know you'll have the magic touch with it. - and I'm glad you're back!
Love this! I used to live in The French Quarter and found the best thrifting! Now I live in Southwest Louisiana and think Lafayette should hire me to be a thriftfluencer!!
You came across my recommended page. I’m so excited I found you.. after watching this video I realized you must be from near me (you mentioned an hour from New Orleans and Mississippi)… I’m from Biloxi, and I’m a new reseller!!! I subscribed, and I can’t wait to watch all your videos.
I'm in Biloxi too!! We should meet up some time. I don't thrift a ton in Mississippi anymore because I do so much better in New Orleans but I would be happy to meet up for a thrift date!
Marchesa Notte dress🔥 I want it! Didn’t see it in your PM closet, Awesome closet BTW💕 How can we get bored when you keep pulling out amazing dresses. What a lovely haul 🌷
The way i squealed when i realized you were at the new bins in New Orleans!!!! My friend and i love the one in Boutte, La They told us the bins would be opening, but i completely forgot! Planning to make a trip very soon!!! Did they have a good bit of non clothing items? Thats what we like. Like clothing also, but really love the other stuff too. Will sub to your channel. Nice "meeting " you 😊
YES! They had a big range of items. Also, the retail store is in the same building so that is really cool. Thank you so much for subscribing and taking the time to say hello!
Oh my goshhh! The bunny blo mold! 😍The black & white heart tulle dress! 😍The brown Levi’s pants! That pink Vtg baby doll dress!! 😍That yellow target collab dress 😍 be still my heart! Amazing haul!!
So I do a bunch of things. Yes, wash, I also steam clothing which is suppose to be better to kill any bacteria. I also do soaks to items that are really saturated like the vintage Disney jacket I bought. That will probably take a few soaks in a product I use called Retro Clean. Hope that helps!
Ok, now that the east has a Goodwill outlet, how about Algiers and uptown. Either on General Meyers , General Degualle, or on old Berhman Hwy. Uptown could be on Tchoupitolous. Also another location could be St.Claude and Caffin.
When I first became a Thriftfluencer for Goodwill of Southeastern Louisiana I suggested they get an outlet. That's when they said they had it in the works. The reason they chose this one is because they are moving their corporate headquarters there from Tulane. Hopefully it goes well and they open more. I can tell you I have really had a good experience so far!
I am not sure. I know that in Gulfport they have a warehouse full of inventory. We did have a short-lived Outlet but it wasn't run very well so it didn't last. I am not sure what the answer is there so I just opt to travel to New Orleans a few times a month. The Goodwill Outlet in Ridgeland (Jackson) is cool but that is a bit of a drive for me.
@@SuperGeeked 🩷I’m near the MCComb/Brookhaven area. We could def use one closer! I have been to all the ones within an hour or more from me and I do enjoy going so much!!
Goodwill of Southeastern Louisiana started a program to hire people with a social media following to promote their stores and mission. The term thriftfluencer is a blend of thrifter and influencer. I was one of the first thriftfluencers they brought on.
Thank you for watching and commenting. The reason why I choose to talk about the items is so that people know why I choose what I choose to sell. Style, cut, fabric, etc are important to get the more bang for your buck. I am not a volume seller. I like my items to, on average, sell for $40 or higher so I list less but still make a generous profit. I hope that makes sense. Normally I talk wayyyyy more. I can be long-winded. So I was extra conscious in order to go quickly because the haul was so large.
Sorry but the point is to learn🤷♀️ I think you did great and I appreciate learning new brands and what’s selling! Why not keep those comments to yourself? Love Liverpool the Christmas ornaments and that religious picture❤ great haul!
I think there was so much confusion on if they were cancelling or opening. I messaged them and that's when I found out. We rushed over as fast as we could but were still 2 hours late.
@@SuperGeeked I agree. I live about 30 minutes from there and we checked the night before and thought it wasn’t going to be open. So we canceled our plans to go. Then, the next day we saw that they were actually open. Didn’t make it but happy to see that it’s open!!
If you get another chance, I would recommend going! Our friend Alicia was originally going with us but when it got cancelled she made other plans. It was too late by the time we found out it was opening afterall.
Ao excited to see this! Cant wait to go!
Oh, it is so fun! I have been back and it has been great!
New Orleans East is a no go for me. There is alot of crime in New Orleans & the east is the worst. But you picked up some great stuff! Good luck. ⚜️

You hit the jackpot, Victoria!!!! Wish I could have gone!
It was soooo good. We had an awesome day.

I am working on the listings this week!! Thank you. That is so sweet of you to say.

Wow…never heard of the brand Tanya Taylor….but will be on the lookout now!! Love learning about dress brands from you!! ❤
Thank you! That means so much.
Great Haul‼️.. Even Greater Prices‼️❤️❤️
We are a little spoiled down here with pricing.
What a fun haul
Thank you!!
This was a great haul Victoria!!!! 😘
Thank you, my friend. So excited I got to see you!!
What a great haul! Every section was so good! The retail of those brands are crazy! I am still waiting to find Veronica beard! Tanya did so good too!
It's fun to see how very different we are with our choices but still both manage to get awesome hauls.
I’m so jealous of that Easter bunny blow mold! I would have kept it too ❤
There was a guy checking out with a GIANT Lego box from Indiana Jones. Kicking myself that I didn't see that!
Great haul!! I’m jealous of the retail store prices in New Orleans. We are a good $2/piece higher in Virginia! Love all the dresses!
I am a sucker for the dress section!!
Oh my goodness I never new New Orleans had an outlet. I will have to make a trip soon! Never been to an outlet. ❤
New to your channel Loved seeing the haul you went fast and not too slow was not bored!
Oh good. I can be long-winded so I tried to go fast so people would make it through the haul. Thank you for watching.
Awesome haul!!!! I sold that identical Free People dress. It sold quickly too. I need to make a Nola trip soon haven’t been in a year!!!
Yes, you do. You need to come with me!! After soccer season is over let's plan a date!
Oh my goshhh!
The bunny blo mold! 😍The black & white heart tulle dress! 😍The brown Levi’s pants! That pink Vtg baby doll dress!! 😍That yellow target collab dress 😍 be still my heart! Amazing haul!!
Isn't that blow mold soooo cute? I just can't sell it!
Oh I didn’t c u get that heart dress! It’s super cute.
You know that is right up my alley! Just like Mary. 😂😜
Hello! I’m new to your channel ! I really enjoyed your haul but have a question. Do you launder the clothing before selling ? I have always wondered

Where in New Orleans is this one? Is it the one in Luling or is it not on maps yet because it’s so new?
New Orleans East
Google Lowe's. It is off of Read in the old Lowe's building in New Orleans, East.
😂 I didn’t know that Frye made jeans 🤦🏼♀️
Always learning stuff from each other.
We need more Goodwill stores in Mississippi :( How can we get more??

@@SuperGeeked Thanks for the reply. This is my first video of yours and the first time I’ve ever heard that word so I wasn’t clear about it. Now I am.
Great finds!! But please just show the items of the haul. Too much talking and distractions when you hold them up.

Need to wear gloves
No, I like to be able to feel the fabrics.

This was opening day. It's brand new and so worth the trip!!
@@SuperGeeked I will definitely have to make the trip. 30 minutes is so much better then the two hours to the mobile Alabama one for me.
