I only started playing The Finals the last 4/5 days however i must say i am addicted. I watched your 2 most certain live streams and have gained a better sense of the game and have had a better time playing :)) I currently play the Light class whilst my duo runs Medium. Only played Heavy a couple times yet the Lewis Gun is my favourite. I'm excited for season 4, not really sure what i'd like to see since my play time is limited. Kyoto currently is my number 1 map, played the best on it overall other than Kyoto i do enjoy the Las Vegas map a tone. Watching your videos have been great help. Always happy to support a fellow Brit too

Let’s gooo, finally you’re playing heavy. You should try winch with that shotgun because you can cancel the mag rotation animation if you winch someone and get your next shots faster.
I watched the whole vid 😊Ya the count down could help tell you when you absolutely need to stop fighting and steal. However when you’re not sure and you get it just in time it feels great.
The absolute biggest issue I think season 4 needs to address is giving the light class utility to help the team. Currently, the purpose of the light class seems to be transporting vaults and adding DPS to fights. Those 2 roles don’t add nearly as much to the team as being a medic (medium) or defending/attacking cashouts (heavy).
The thermal bore is also useful imo. Not only to open line of sight for yourself but to help the team better move around or create good vantage points. I see it as a team gadget.
Defib and heal needs to go Has no place in the game imo. Both feel like a must pick defib even more than heal. Feels like you only get 2 gadgets on medium, because without defib you throwing hard. Not having heal on a team is the same. A team with no heal is playing an immense uphill battle. Both of those are like tripple S tier for medium. You either have heal and defib, or you lose most games. It not impossible, but it’s way to good not to pick. Kills load out diversity on medium and breeds animosity. I hate it when you have only one medium and he isn’t playing heal and defib. What even is your purpose…
My personal favorite heavy is Mesh wall, Flamethrower, RPG, Dome Shield, and Barricades. The dome shield nerf is pretty significant, but I like using it aggressively (throwing in front of me when rushing someone) so it usually dies before the 5.5 sec mark. It's still a great way to empty someone's mag when you're starting a fight.
IM ONE OF THE PEOPLE: i do not like the countdown with numbers, it turns the game into a more, easily calculated risk assesment. but by now, we all kinda know the real timer, so it doesnt really matter in the end
Everyone says the auto shotty is OP but im trash with it. The burst delay feels so weird, i prefer KS23. More fun, rewarding, and you gotta use your brain. Plus the destruction is very useful!

Heal beam for cash out is the best. As a medium i never use turret. I use heal beam or dematerializer. I find the amount of light players is ridiculous. Honestly 50-70% of players are playing light class. When there are 2 other classes that are more viable. Nothing worse than being on a team with 2 other lights. And/or going against teams that are all camping corners invisible
I love the heavy class and this setup is one of my favorite. Shotty is so nice for lights because they have to get close, the RPG is just awesome and charge and slam is MASSIVE utility for changing the fight dynamic or getting away.
The Finals is the name of the game show in the lore William, it's not called that because of the final round. Why would they write THE FINALS on the default gun skins if it was called that for the final round?
I think a tiny timer could live near either above the cashout letter or maybe even next to the yellow bar on the top right next to the team name that is currently cashingout. I think still need the letter pretty visible on the cashout so you can distiguish them fast.

Lot of BF dna in this game.. Think a nice addition would be if you are holding a steal after the timer you can continue to steal even after the timer runs out similar to rush in battlefield. A timer would be nice as well for understanding
Turret is helpful if one of your random teammates isn't strong, its like having half an extra gun to cover an angle. Obviously tough to beat heal beam if your team is coordinated.
I've never been one to stick to one set of weapons or class in any game but I've enjoyed the shotgun, and if there are significant Med and Light enemies I'll whip out the M60 which melts if there are no heavies (Sometimes I just randomize my entire loadout with a loadout generator)
Nothing wrong with playing medium all the time. I literally ALWAYS play the support role. In games I play the medic, in sports I'm always on defense... There's just something about playing mainly FOR your team mates instead of against the opponent. Play however you want, Will. Always gonna watch it!
I rock all 3 builds and understood that all the game is about is messing around stuff and experimenting with different kits and weapons, especially in casual modes. Some non meta weapons are strong enough and still fun to play with (MGL, bow, spear), only the 93 Raffica and riot shield are underwhelming.

I think instead of multiple new maps I'd like to see all the map variations on each map. Imagine a construction version of Kyoto where two of the off center towers get replaced with wrecking ball cranes or kyoto with the mod hige rise an jus have those high rises placed at every other building. Also dynamic changing power shift paths would be rad. Edit: Also on topic of medium spec, on Kyoto I love running demat because of all the cheeky steals you can pull off. Especially if you place down your jump pad the floor above the cashout then demat the floor you can reliably send the cashout flying to the other end of the map. Though I also love using a zipline to get to the top of the bamboo an placing my turret looking down. Takes people forever to figure out where the gunfire is coming from
i one trick heavy and whenever im sweating in WT i use mesh + sa1216/lewis + c4/dome + rpg + barricade and whenever im screwing around on my potato laptop i use charge + flamethrower/mgl32 + c4 + rpg + pyro mine

You don't see any turrets in the top lobbies, it's all healing beams. Sometimes a triple medium team will have one dematerializer in there but even then they usually go three healing beams
They should limit one role per team. Because the meta heavily sways for 3 mediums for example. Game would feel much more balanced if there arent 3 med in a team or 3 lignts, or 3 heavies
It's over if they did not fix all the bugs and balanced the game with season 4. Just a minute ago a hammer heavy hammer me from a mile away and he wasn't even fighting me. This is ridiculous, I think that mele assistance force hammer towards the opponent. Overall the game fvcking svcks time to time when soloQ-ing
As long as you don't concern about climbing rank (in WT or TA), I rather play the Finals over plenty other games. You can do movement? Use it You can't? Bring the stuff down to you.
Frankly it's not spoiled to want more maps. The Finals is way behind other fps games in that field and it's holding the game back imho. I'd rather they focus on making more maps than making more horrible weapons/balancing decisions.
In season 4 I don't want anything new I want thing to be removed. First of all winch claw get that shit outta here, invisibility it's long overdue by now, deffib bleh , mesh shield immediately remove it , remove melees they are all broken there is no gun that can take a melee weapon

Invis you can still see people, defib during fights you could die again anyways and melee weapons is basically just keep your distance. That's also why you don't see any sledgehammer in high ranks and scrims and hell even mid tier ranks.

Not to mention heavy sledge moves faster than a light with the lunge and has a range that goes out almost double the actual length of the sledge AND does 115 - 200 dmg a swing with hardly anytime in-between those swings. Combine that with winch and it's a guaranteed kill, it's not balanced at all.
@@ixkaozxi9736 I forgot about Winch Claw. I main Goo Gun Sledge. Personally, I think the weapon is fine. It may be unfun to fight when it has Wincb Claw though since that can easily negate the range advantage shotguns have to use vs Sledge.

They have great utility people usually just don’t use them. Stun gun, glitch grenades and sonar grenades are all good
And AOE heal grenade. Kinda like heavy class antigravity mechanic but without the antigravity

Its crazy the devs havent fixed gas canisters blowing up in your face for no reason. I remember they claimed they fixed it, but it still happens
