Remember Schiff's central pier well. Spending sumner time in Brigantine as a child in the 70s it was a huge treat being taken to Atlantic City boardwalk. They were very simple times and we were grateful to be able to a place for the season in Brig. At that time Central Pier was definitely better for kids. Steel pier still had live music/comedy shows, the diving horse etc. But central pier had a huge observation tower ride that turned on its way up and down. These videos definitely bring back many of my memories. Nice seeing Fralinger fudge still thriving.
I always watch your Atlantic City videos. Atlantic City never gets old 😊. I had to cancel my July trip, but I will be there in August and September thanks to comp rooms from Caesars. Stop past the best dive on the boardwalk. Bill's Gyros is reasonably priced and I find the food very good. I want some now 😄. Thanks Jeff.
Thanks for these awesome videos. I'm a Jersey boy from Milltown. Worked in AC for 18 yrs. I'm now in Biloxi working at the Beau Rivage. Going back to AC and the area next month for 3 weeks. Can't wait to eat. Miss the food especially the pizza. Thanks again. It's great to see someone showing how great the Jersey Shore is.
It has been many years since I was last along the Atlantic City board walk...don't even recognize most of it...wow! Looks much more of a destination and a need for a little change in my pocketbook. lol Looks like you had a very sunny and enjoyable day! Fantastic! Bruce and Otis
Thanks for the walk Jeff!! I really love it down there, just got back from a 3 night stay at the borgata, had a great time. Im already booked again for beginning of october.
Rondy, did you get to the boardwalk at all? I usually stay put, unless I'm on the Oceanside. One time, walking, I made a mad dash over to the boardwalk from Harrah's and that can be dangerous with all the roads but I wanted some snacks to fill up the refrigerator
@@richardhales92 I did, I spent most of the days at the boardwalk and the nights at the borgata, I always park at oceans and walk down to the trop then make my way back jumping into all the casinos on the way. Try the wawa next time over in brigatine its a pretty easy drive from harrahs

That crab at 7:34 looked kinda creepy.😆I’ve heard A LOT about the Pier. People saying it’s a really cool/chill place. And at least you weren’t getting dive bombed by the Seagulls. Unlike at the Landshark.
Seagulls are pretty and their sound always reminds people of the sea. However, when they organize into gangs and terrorize anything with food, rocks come in handy!
i was there today too. beautiful beach day!! Love the boardwalk by the Ocean resort --- but prefer the beach by the Trop. That helicopter is really annoying if you sit at the beach at the Ocean resort. The beach by the Trop is so much better.

I enjoy walking and actually did a beach video right before this one from the Trop to Ocean Casino Resort ... and that was just the start of my walking day! I haven't had a massage in years but it sounds like a great idea. I would probably visit a hotel spa as opposed to one of those Boardwalk places. Thanks for watching and subscribing Susan!
I love this video! I live in New York and have no car but I really want to visit AC! In your opinion is it cheaper to rent a car for a few days and drive or take a bus? Is greyhound te only way there? thank you
I might be able to help with this one; I live in NY City, and they have inexpensive buses that run for about $24.00 each way to AC (google discount buses). I'd like to add that Greyhound is more expensive, (around $80 round trip) and when I inquired about the trip, Greyhound mentioned that Jersey Transit has buses that run round-trip as well. This is good if you like to have an open return, as I like to do. You can travel one way on a discount bus (or Greyhound) and return on Jersey Transit (still cheaper than Greyhound) and return back home when you choose, but you must go back to the bus station
