Synopsis:
A story set in the world of fashionable jewelry that revolves around a woman who hides her identity to unravel a secret while proving herself to be an outstanding jeweller.
When Bai Xining was ten years old, her life is turned upside down and she goes from being an heiress of a jewelry enterprise to completely penniless. She is sent to Australia to be adopted by a Chinese couple and loses all contact with her home country. However, she eventually discovers that the reason her mother was sent to prison was because she had been framed. Fifteen years later, Xining who has earned a dual degree through her own hard work and capability joins the company that was once owned by her mother. Even though the series is over I’m glad that she divorced him cause she realized how much of a toxic person Wei Ming is and that if she stayed with him in the future just to keep that superiority he thinks he has he would go out of his way to try and ruin her life like he did his first ex-wife regardless of the fact that his daughter would get caught in the conflict.

Same here. I don't feel any sympathy. I'm glad the ex wife is a better person than me cause I would have walked right past her. This is her karma. She saw the signs and didn't care what happened to the ex wife and child cause she was reaping the benefits. She shouldn't have tried to get pregnant by this jerk. It's enough that the ex wife has found someone who loves her and her daughter whole heartedly. This legal mistress will have a harder time. Karma has no mercy to those who do evil.
I kinda think he treats his new wife way worse. At least with his ex wife he didn’t start to show his evil side till she wised up. He goes full blown psycho with this one any time she deviates from what he wants.

I almost didn’t recognize this guy as Gu Jia’s husband in Nothing but Thirty. He looks so different! Great actor though. Both roles had him playing a cheating husband, but the two characters are so different in temperament, and he pulled off both brilliantly. Seems like a nice guy IRL too.
