Let them import from China or Pakistan or Malaysia at extremely higher prices and all Indians need to stop visiting the Maldives, Indians should visit Lakshadweep and other beautiful islands of India. Also the health care professionals, doctors and nurses who are offering their services in Maldives should return to India, let Maldives survive for a month with out India’s help.

They were inhabited by Indian people from the Malabar coast of India - Kerala, Konkan region (Karnataka, Maharashtra), Gujarat, North Western Sri Lanka, some Arab and North African merchants.
