Helen! The watermelon 🍉 is too young, it still had a long way to go, even though they are big it doesn't mean that they are ready for eating 😂😂 do not pick the others as yet my dear.😅😅❤❤

Hello Queen, Congrats on your first melon. But give them more time to mature and ripen, then just try one and you'll see the difference! Your instincts will take you there...Big ripe Juicy watermelons!

You have to wait another month or two to harvest. It’s best when the side that is on the ground turns yellow

Ok. I know nothing about harvesting 🍉. Was wondering how do you know when they are ready. So thank you for the answer. I see many saying the same in the comments. Have a great day.

Anxious harvest but the water melonnstill has about 2 months before maturity. You need to wait until the sides turn yellow and the leaves start to dry then it's ready for harvest....but beautiful all the same and you got more seeds for planting

You have to allow the vine attached to the watermelon to dry before you harvest it. That way, you know it is ripe.
That watermelon is way too young.

I'm happy to see your farm coming along nicely. Congratulations on the melons! 😊. I love gardening. The melon you cut open on the video was a pretty good size. I think maybe it would have sweetened up for you of you let it get good and ripe. Lots of melons grow in Texas (where I'm Originally from and some say if you wait the the stem to turn brown or yellowish brown, then it's ripe and ready. I don't know the type of melon you were growing but I hope that info helps. Keep growing fresh and organic for liberia. I hope to do the same some day soon. GOD Bless☺️

Yes, the watermelon has more growth. The stem to the vine would get much shorter. Mama you picked too early!
