In the 90s I fished a lot of Club tournaments out of Holland Cut. Nice to see they've improved the ramps; they used to be nightmarish. I recognize some of the places you were fishing. Thanks for taking us all along
Well having watched your videos for many years now I am expecting a fantastic tourney for you lol Seems like the worst the practice the better the results in crunch time .Then the gang gets to hear "i got lucky and found a few good ones" .I predict a top ten now 😂
Hey greg, watching you're videos got me into kayak fishing and ive really enjoyed it since i started. Keep up the videos because you are inspiring others.
Greg traveled about two miles north, up Old River and is fishing the edge of Little Mandeville Island, which is actually a lake.. like Franks Tract. Surprised that after catching three in a row, Greg didn't retie @ 7:10 ..especially since he broke off a really good fish on the blade... just a few videos ago.
You should try throwing some glide baits. They make more reasonably sized glides. I love the Westin Hypo-Teez Glide Bait. It has helped me tons by weeding out the smaller fish.
How funny!😂 You found my launch ramp on this video!😂 I fish all those areas that you had on your map! Hope you do well in the tourney! Thank You, Greg!
The Delta is just amazing in my opinion. It's the kind of place you could spend your life trying to learn and you'd still need more time. It must be terrifying to be a Frog in the Delta! A nice sunny day! Missus Frog has been very receptive lately so you've bought a bouquet of flowers in hopes she still is!! Then all of a sudden the weeds part and all you see is the end coming! They might find his bouquet of swamp flowers but that's about it! Poor Mr. Frog! 😁
Been hot here so I went out early this morning to get the first couple hours in. I fished the whole time with the same 3 setups!! Frog ,punch rig and war eagle finesse spinnerbait for the openings and the spinnerbait did all the damage with some post spawn largemouth. 1 was between 7 and 8 lbs. The old obsolete spinnerbait is still my favorite call me old fashioned 😂
Hey Greg, again I really enjoyed another of your well made videos! The flooded islands that you fished are my old fishing holes back in the 70s and 80s. Caught many black bass and striped bass inside Franks Tract & Mildred island around. Best of luck on your upcoming delta tournament!
He's fishing on connection slough just off old river. Did he make it to Mildred island? I couldn't tell. Use to rent a slip at Holland for many years. The berth cover you see when Greg comes back up to Holland Tract Rd to launch is where I first rented a side berth. Switch over to a hydrohoist slip on the original berths, opposite side of the office and launch ramp. That was fast water as it's just off old river. I watched this video to see if Greg got a Titan X. Apparently not, or not yet. What's funny if you follow Greg's links to the lures he's using, theres a Prop 65 warning on some of them. Is that for the fish? Lol.
I saw you out there at Holland. I saw your boots and was like that has to be him. I was in the camo boat with my dad fishing. Was too scared to shout lol
Bite is tough I was get decent ones with yum curly tail candy Apple Red slow drag on the bottom Texas Rig Good luck always enjoy your videos with my muddy water ☕️
Thanks for the great videos Greg and also for showing where you launch. It’s quite hard being new to the delta finding a place to launch. Appreciate everything you do!
Yes indeed, DD Iced Coffee, let's go fishing folks. Greg it's days like this you'll explore. And your good tournaments, have always outweighed, the average days by far. I believe you'll figure something out bro. 🌊 🛶 🎣
Tournament day decisions are key to Ws or loses 🤷🏼♂️ When to move vs when to stay are hardest for me and I usually make the wrong decision 😜 Really looking forward to the derby videos and seeing how you do 👊😎
Isn't anything better than getting ready to hit the Delta, having my morning ☕ and watching another great video! Good stuff brother.. Fool moon all week..
Wow that was tough ,only thing I could say is there were certain baits you didn't try. And because the conditions were so much different then the last time I don't know. It seemed to me the smaller fish are feeding in the early morning and the bigger fish move up later in the day. Thanks for another great video Greg ,can't wait to see the tournament videos.
Great video Greg. I bank fish there for over 10 years, and it has definitely slowed down. Not sure what the heck is going on. Anyone have any clue to why? To me it’s seems to have started around that time the Oroville Dam broke and spilled
I gonna guess that considering you listed the frog as TBA aka to be announced that you are fishing a prototype Berkley frog and can't show it on camera till you get the okay from Berkley right???
That breakoff was a vivid memory of me getting a huge thump, a Hookset with weight straight into pulling dental floss. Then to add insult immediately jumped again 🙄. Felt so bad 👎
Well all I got to say is Greg love your vids but I’m sitting here yelling at you through the screen I fill like you need to either let them drop it or not catch as much fish in them spot the you catch 3 with in 5 minutes that’s all you need to know as they are there and stop sore mouthing them but just my opinion but yes I agree that some times to it don’t matter but a lot of the time it will effect it
for sure, unless i had hooked some bigger ones I didn't care about sore lipping the small ones. Kinda knew after a few of those small fish I wouldn't be fishing this area for the tournament
Greg just so you know I commented on D Thao’s vid saying you are he best due to the non ffs. Much love to both you Cali guys! And happy 4th to you and all the fellas
Oh boy.. coffee time😊
GOOD MORNING GREG!!! So nice to wake up to one of your videos!!!!
15:52 "Sorry dude!" after catching the punch fish and he bumps the bow of the kayak... very cool!
Hands down my favorite fishing RUclips channel I show all my buddies your videos and got like 4 people hooked! Keep whackin em out there🎣
thank you sir! cheers

Thanks for talking/thinking out loud! I appreciate learning how you break down an area and develop a pattern.
Good luck on your turnerment greg 20:40
Late to the show, but thanks for the adventure GB. Curing some of my recent skunks over these last four days LOL.
Well having watched your videos for many years now I am expecting a fantastic tourney for you lol Seems like the worst the practice the better the results in crunch time .Then the gang gets to hear "i got lucky and found a few good ones" .I predict a top ten now 😂

too excited to get the line wet again lol
Thanks for the ride along. I appreciate you thinking out loud on how you break down an area. Good luck on the tourney!
1/2 oz spinnerbait has been my go to this year, has caught me big bass, walleye, and pike
definitely a year of the spinnerbait!
Thanks for the video. Good luck on the tournaments
Awesome Greg, can’t wait for the tournament footage. Thank you!
Best of luck in the tournament!
good luck buddy, you got this!!

As always, thank you for bringing us along! Best of luck in the tournament! 🤙

for sure! delta is probably the trickiest place to find a consistent bite unless you fish here year round
Good morning Greg watching your videos are a great way to start the day!!
thank you sir!

Thanks for the great videos Greg and also for showing where you launch. It’s quite hard being new to the delta finding a place to launch. Appreciate everything you do!
Once you’re done with the tourney you should really hit up Lake Pardee
Really appreciate showing us the lures and such! Big help to understand what a pro throws out there
Hitting holland. Nice.

Let’s start the official “GB Coffee Club”
What’s up GB, what battery do you use for your motor and how what does your range look like ?
Yo! Bioenno 24v 50ah. range depends on speed but i'll say 5-6 miles at 3.5 mph clip.
Great video Greg. I bank fish there for over 10 years, and it has definitely slowed down. Not sure what the heck is going on. Anyone have any clue to why? To me it’s seems to have started around that time the Oroville Dam broke and spilled
thanks man, yeah, no sure what happened either. I fished back up into the slough the other day and it was a lot of small fish
RIP to the Delta. Don't know if we'll ever see it fish the way it used to 5-10 years ago. 😕
Prototype 🐸?
Oh boy.. bed time😊
Greg what hook are you using on your dropshot setup? Great video as always!
When do we get to see the KBF first place finish video?

What up Ben
That breakoff was a vivid memory of me getting a huge thump, a Hookset with weight straight into pulling dental floss.
Then to add insult immediately jumped again 🙄. Felt so bad 👎
Quick cuts are rampant in this one

We call all those dinks cookie cutters. Still fun to catch, but not good for a tournament
Greg just so you know I commented on D Thao’s vid saying you are he best due to the non ffs. Much love to both you Cali guys! And happy 4th to you and all the fellas
