    Serves 5-6
    Recipe in English:
    Ingredients:
    -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tbs
    -Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) 1 tbs
    -Saunf (Fennel seeds) ½ tbs
    -Sabut lal mirch (Button red chillies) 7-8
    -Jaifil (Nutmeg) ½ piece
    -Javitri (Mace) 3 blades
    -Cooking oil ½ Cup or as required
    -Pyaz (Onion) sliced 2 large
    -Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 2
    -Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) ½ tsp
    -Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2
    -Tez patta (Bay leaf) 1
    -Laung (Cloves) 6-7
    -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tbs
    -Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 1
    -Hari mirch (Green chilli) paste 1 & ½ tbs
    -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs
    -Tamatar (Tomato) sliced 1 large
    -Dahi (Yogurt) 1 Cup
    -Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
    -Namak (Salt) 1 tbs or to taste
    -Chicken powder 1 tbs
    -Water ½ Cup or as required
    -Chanay (Chickpeas) 300g (boiled with salt)
    -Water 5 Cups or as required
    -Aloo bukhara (Dried plums) 7-8
    -Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4
    -Chawal (Rice) Sella 750g (soaked for 1 hour)
    Directions:
    -In a frying pan,add cumin seeds,coriander seeds,fennel seeds,button red chillies,nutmeg,mace & dry roast until fragrant.
    -Let it cool.
    -In mortal & pestle,add roasted spices,crush coarsely & set aside.
    -In a pot,add cooking oil,onion & fry until golden & reserve half for later use.
    -In remaining fried onion,add black cardamoms,black peppercorns,cinnamon sticks,bay leaf,cloves, cumin seeds,star anise & mix well.
    -Add green chilli paste,ginger garlic paste & mix well.
    -Add tomato,yogurt,red chilli crushed,salt,chicken powder,crushed spices (2 tbs) & mix well.
    -Add water & mix well,cover & cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates.
    -Add boiled chickpeas & mix well.
    -Add water & mix well.
    -Add dried plums,green chillies,mix well & bring it to boil.
    -Add soaked rice,mix well & cook on medium flame until water is reduced to 1 Cup (3-4 minutes).
    -Sprinkle remaining spices (1 tbs),cover with kitchen cloth,lid & steam cook on low flame for 16-18 minutes.
    -Serve degi chana pulao with yogurt raita,salad & fried onion.

    -Aloo bukhara (Dried plums) 7-8

    -Chawal (Rice) Sella 750g (soaked for 1 hour)
    Directions:
    -Frying pan mein zeera,sabut dhania,saunf,sabut lal mirch,jaifil aur javitri dal dein aur Khushbu anay tak dry roast ker lein.
    -Thanda ker lein.
    -Mortal & pestle mein roasted spices dal ker coarsely crush ker lein & side per rakh dein.
    -Pot mein cooking oil aur pyaz dal dein aur golden ho janay tak fry ker lein aur half quantity ko bad mein use kernay kliya side per rakh dein.
    -Remaining fried pyaz mein badi elaichi,sabut kali mirch,darchini,tez patta,laung,zeera aur badiyan ka phool dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
    -Hari mirch paste aur adrak lehsan dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
    -Tamatar,dahi,lal mirch crushed,namak,chicken powder aur crushed spices (2 tbs) dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
    -Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker darmiyani ancch per 5-6 minutes kliya paka lein phir tez ancch per oil alag ho janay tak paka lein.
    -Boiled chanay dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
    -Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
    -Aloo bukhara aur hari mirchein dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay dein.
    -Soaked chawal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per pani 1 cup reh janay tak paka lein (3-4 minutes).
    -Remaining spices (1 tbs) dal dein,kitchen cloth aur lid sa cover ker lein aur halki ancch per 16-18 minutes kliya steam cook ker lein.
    -Degi chana pulao ko dahi ka raita,salad & fried pyaz ka saath serve karein.
