Eye of the Storm lyrics:
The dark clouds are gathering
Chaos entwined
Thunder and lightning
I need shelter tonight
The edge of what I can endure
Been there, riding through the storm, in the snow
Must go, flee before the fall
To the place, where I can feel the love
Through the cold
My heaven, the Eye of the Storm
The place I want to go
Serene and beautiful
My place to rest, my heart and soul
My heaven, the Eye of the Storm
Shrouded by the fog
Protected from the cold
Where its warm, where I’ll endure
The light keeps on burning
As the storm rages on
It’s time for hope and learning
A golden future unfolds
Enough, the past exists no more
The pain, the darkness in my soul, finally gone
Carry on, escape the masquerade
Get away, before it’s just too late
Break the chains
My heaven, the Eye of the Storm
The place I want to go
Serene and beautiful
My place to rest, my heart and soul
My heaven, the Eye of the Storm
Shrouded by the fog
Protected from the cold
Where its warm, where I’ll endure

Battle Beast is so much fun, and Noora is one of the best female singers out there! Even better at live. Whole band is very talented and crazy tight at live.
Thanks 🙏 Again Rob for the shout out n another great reaction
Good call!
That was absolutely fantastic !
Hell yes, blew me away!!!
Yes! That octave jump! Where was that lost!
Also saw your face light up on the well placed guitar solo just before!
Wow, can't add much to what you said. Maybe not repeat listening for me, but a hell of a ride!
👍👍Great performance. 🖖❤
You have only just scratched the surface when Noora ( the singer ) lets rip the ground shakes, try the song ( let it roar ) its on their self title album battle beast 2013 and as a bonus for you Noora and the boys did a cover of w.a.s.p's wild child which apparently Blackie Lawless loves you can't get a better recommendation than that.
Battle beast is another product from Finland, that I really like in this genre. Lordi is another. As you said, her voice, I have nothing more to ad. Other than when I heard this song in the beginning the guitar goes chunk-a-chunk and it´s a similar sound like the one Dany Villarreal in The Warning plays in the beginning of "Hell you call a dream", so Battle beast is probably one of the bands she listens to. I have nothing more to ad than what you have said about BB, Good reaction.
Anneke van Giersbergen. The pioneer of Dutch female metal vocalists, inspiration to Floor and Simone. Here is a 2-fer, based upon the other recommendations I made above, the one singing with Devin.
First, her original band, the Gathering, when she was super young, metal band lead singer: ruclips.net/video/1HUMwinV2AQ/видео.htmlsi=1qGv8nsU6q33026I
Second, part of the Ayreon project (you want a rabbit hole to dive down?)….. Three of the world’s best female metal singers, taking a break……. Valley of the Queens - you might recognize someone: ruclips.net/video/TbebO5BZi-I/видео.htmlsi=hjFZatjtjWoyizel
Just as I started to narrow my list down...you rock!
@@victorycast We can’t let that happen!
@@victorycast Hope you’ve seen my other suggestions on here, Devin Townsend. Also, I put several in your Marco - Tarja reaction!
Nice to hear you liked it's my favorit band today.

Nice! Never heard this. I like it. You called him the man & I got jealous. 😂How about Yahweh from STRYPER speaking g of climax lol🤘🏼
noted
If you're Haruna from Lovebites, you use double-kick for however long you want. 🤘🔥
and if you are me, and double kick is overused, you turn it off... just sayin
Fucking Finnish names!
🤣
I’ve got another suggestion, but I don’t know how you will take him. It’s Devin Townsend, who I grew up about 10 miles away from in Vancouver, but never heard of him. He is likely one of the best Canadian musical artists ever - most Canadians have never heard of him but he is very popular in Europe. A few recommendations. But I’m not claiming you will like them all, but I think you will seriously respect his talent. To be seen.
The songs are a progression - the first one is pretty light. Then it ramps up. Fuck it - do your first 4-fer!!! He’s a total goofball with incredible talent!
First is really lower key - a 2fer because it also has Anneke van Giesbergen, a Dutch metal front woman who the likes of Floor and Simone looked up to (and I’ve given recommendations for her - I’ll post them again): Ih Ah. ruclips.net/video/cN6fHdPvEu0/видео.htmlsi=GLmKVPuZI_yirQ0W
Then, from a show Devin did for during the quarantine lockdown, to support the Vancouver General Hospital foundation (he also did one for New York and I think London). Note he hi-jacked his kids game controller! ruclips.net/video/xsd4ZkFVOHY/видео.htmlsi=sQ-g1iGa6T4DggQT
Now, and it has harsh vocals, but his humour, and crazy shifts in vocals - plus some pretty good guitar…. I seriously do not know how you will take this one but you won’t be bored, and I know I’ll be laughing! ruclips.net/video/nubJjB95VdY/видео.htmlsi=dMcGAkdz_BIkR0XF
Finally, the definition of the wall of sound. Deadhead at Royal Albert hall. Again, some harsh vocals, that are immediately followed by operatic tones. Insane diversity! ruclips.net/video/DrDM6V08wcE/видео.htmlsi=G8hEeOdPICIVMcMR
It’s pronounced “Vakken” - you need to get that right! 😉. Because you’ll be saying it a lot - The Warning is playing there this summer!! Premier metal festival in the world!
of course it is... why pronounce as it's spelled 🙄
@@victorycast Because they are Europeans, doing weird European pronunciation! I know, my in-laws are Dutch!
