Those were the greatest moments of my childhood... Coming back home to my ps3... And putting in the lbp disc. Playing levels for 5 hours straight, until it was my bedtime... Honestly defined me. I will treasure the memories of staying up all night playing those rpg games, mortal combat, train bomb survival things, pvp shooters, monkey survival Island, wolf rpg, ect. LBP2 was really something special to me and many others, the memories of all the online levels and playing with friends and just random people will always hold a place in my heart. I was going to have my ps3 get repaired, mostly so I can go revisit all the levels I loved to play, and perhaps make some new friends, but now that lbp2 servers have been taken down permanently, I'm pretty sad Honestly. Thank you lbp2 for the good times. You truly molded me into who I am today, and I am forever grateful to get to have had such an amazing childhood because of you. Rest in peace lbp2❤
Hey guys...I just want to let y'all know that this game has shaped my childhood a lot and changed me into the man I am today. I just wanna tell y'all thanks for a great run. So many great people we met and had friends....so many great levels we had made. Hide and seek, RPGs, horror levels. And who knows maybe I even played with y'all. I really miss this time where I had nothing to worry about and just have fun with many different people. I still feel like wanting to be a kid just to relive those moments with y'all. I'm litterally crying. I used to play lbp1 with my cousin, we past so much good times in this game and created so many levels, so I decided to got mine. So I played Lbp2 alone (I was a quiet kid) and past time by creating levels, my mom really enjoyed to see me playing this game : she always said that the songs were awesome. I remember finding new friends with the online fonctionnality... it was really a part of my childhood And recently, I shared this game with my younger brother, like my cousin did. He loved it, we played a lot of awesome community levels. Sometimes he comes to me "do the hacking is fixed ? Can we still play to little big planet ?" A game series I cherish so dearly. Though it may be difficult and frustrating at times, it was still beyond enjoyable. The characters were so loveable. The visauls so creative. The music just amazing. Thank you little big planet.
I just wish the Sony would revive the franchise without a mediocre spinoff, like when I saw the trailer for the first time I almost geared up but then when I saw the gameplay I just got sad again. Just hope in the far far future we can see a little big planet 4. Don’t lose hope
I was really young when Little Big Planet first came out, and I remember playing it every single day since then with my little brother growing up. I have so many fun and amazing memories on there, especially little big planet 2. I remember when my ninog came over on a holiday, I forget which one, and gifted the special edition to me when it first came out. I didn't stop playing it until maybe, my 8th grade year. Then It was sort of on and off, when my days would get super bad, I'd remember it and hop on and play constantly and then forget about it again. I'm a senior in high school now and I don't think I'll ever be ready to let it go, even though the original story mode levels and such are playable, it won't ever be the same. And I dont particularly enjoy LBP3 as much...I dont even know how I will even be able to transfer all of my own costumes and moon levels onto it because I just recently got it. It's really devastating to say the least. But the memories I have with Little Big Planet, will always be happy ones. Thank you Little Big Planet for practically raising me, and allowing me to express my inner creativity, and allowing me to be apart of a wonderful community. I'll miss you so much ♡

This hits home. I'd go through school every day as a child just for the chance of playing this game. This was such an important part of my childhood. LBP will always have a special space in my heart it was my childhood and helped me through tough times and made so many friends who aren't active on PS3 altogether, the PS4 servers are up but they aren't the same as playing lbp 2 with online friends and irl friends

Ill never forget lbp as a series. The first time I played the game, it sparked something inside me. I wanted to be open minded, I wanted to see more imagination. I wanted to draw and create more things. Mostly though, it gave me the spirit to find my favorite thing, gaming. All I can do is cry when I see the game, and to see the servers have conceded, I don’t know what to feel. All good things must come to an end though. Lets just enjoy it while it lasted.
this honestly made me cry. i remember how i would come home when i was 5 and playing lbp 2 on my ps3 with my old friends. but as i get older i play it less and less frequently. this just reminded me how young and happy i was back then.
There is no comment I could write that would describe the joy I had when I used to log on my PS3 and play LBP 2 with my friends, whether it would be sandbox on the moon, or tsunami survival it was pure joy and happiness, thank Little Big Planet.
Dad got me LBP2 collectors edition the day it dropped after being obsessed with the first game. For the next 3 years I lived, ate, and breathed that fucking game. So many good memories and friends I made during that time. Almost 20 now, and it makes me wanna cry lol.

I truly will never forget this amazing game for all of the memories it brought me. Feels like just yesterday I was sitting down, acing every level, playing the MM Picks, exploring the maps, and just having fun and exploring my creative side and finding out who I am as a person. I met so many people on LBP, especially one kid named Liam back in 2016. He was 8 and I was 9 if I remember correctly. Man those were the days, eventually everything crumbled apart. But luckily I asked him if he had any social media accounts so we can keep in touch cause why not. I remember even saying that me and him would like to meet up someplace in Canada when we grow up one day, and he agreed. It brings a tear to my eye, all these memories are just slightly faded, in my mind but don’t know where. I’m 14, turning 15 atm, I hope we can legit meet in Canada one day, just 2 past friends hanging out.
LBP2 is one of my favorite games of all time because of the friends and bonds i made and grew through the community. I wouldn’t be so passionate about music or music production had I not met a certain someone on here. The games and anime I still love to this day, I wouldn’t have even known about without being a part of this community. This game and its community shaped who I am today and I’m grateful for that. Memories of staying up late on the weekends with my friends from around the US and even the world, playing the newest MM Picks or messing around on the Moon making whatever the hell. This game will be missed and I’m still sad that the servers are gone for good…

Damn man, this game actually hits me right on the feels, ive always been pursuing creative activities but it became more eager when i played lbp 1, maybe at 6yr old? I loved to hear the introductory dialogue i loved to hop on moon just to destroy cardboard with the adjustable explosives i one day got lbp 2 and it was really good too i spended a lot of time on both games until i got lbp 3 and my 8 year old brain thought it was a very cool game now that im 15 i turned a lot of effort on making creative levels on it im currently making a adventure with a lot of playstation battle royale elements crazy to think this game held my hand for so much time, it aint dead for me, it will always live as a pleasent memory...
My sis and I used to play the first game all the time when we were younger, and then the second one. We'd either go to the moon or play on some of the games other people made, and we struggled to play together in the story parts. And even if neither of us knew there was a story behind LBP1's strange, emotional rollercoaster of a world, (Because we never read what the characters had to say.) it was fun all the same.

The game that defined joy, creativity and freedom to my childhood. I will always remember nearly every moment playing this game. LBP 2 might be one of my favorite games of all time. There isn’t, nor will there ever be, a game quite like it. And I am so glad I was able to experience it. This game will forever be a part of me. It’s so strange that this game has such an emotional effect on me. I almost come to tears when I think about my time with it, and I’m not even exaggerating. So many friends, so many memories, so many levels made, so many experiences, I will never forget. It opened my creativity to a whole new level and made me want to get into being a musician a lot more with its clever Music Synthesizer stuff. I still play the soundtrack when I feel like I’m empty. God, I wish I could go back just to relive this period of my life again. I miss it.

It still kills me that the Little Big Planet game servers have closed... I had a great time looking for interesting levels (apart from the thousands of clones of jump levels / Bora Bora Island 1, Gummy Bear etc...) Bora Bora Island 1 and 2 were really cool, moreover the fans created custom servers.
I used to play this when my mom was still alive this brings back so many memories of when she used to cook and I would run and get my food so I can hop back on LBP, who remembers everyone wanting the earth day shirt 😢

It is so hard to say goodbye to a game that I've played for 4 years, saying that this was played before I got my PS4. And LBP 1, 2, Vita and more can get someone else to join them, (LBP 3) at anytime. Now they have Sackboy A Big Adventure, there will be no telling when the game will shut down. I will miss this game so much to the bottom to the top of my heart, as soon as I saw an update I cried a couple tears in joy. sleepyhead is about someone who cant accept someones gone and referring to them as "sleepyhead" and i think its poetic how well it fits with littlebigplanet now with all of us not wanting to let go after mm has moved on from it, believing its just dormant and holding onto that hope for a lbp4 .

I miss the old days when i could boot up lbp and play it for hours, everything about this game was perfect, to the music, the levels, to the design, it's been a long road since then. all i want to say is. Thank you LittleBigplanet, you will be missed.
Binged played the entire trilogy in 2019. Importing my sack boys from 1 to 2 tob3 to experience 3 journeys and custom levels was well...an experiance. The Little big planet series is a great what if? To me it's, What if I was younger, got a ps3 instead of a 360 and got little big planet. I would have played it non-stop as a kid. I hope the LBP community can preserve the games and archive the best of community levels. (Looking at the emulations, they still need ways to go).

I should be thanking my older brother for introducing me to this wonderful and beautiful game… I miss playing with others and making great friends… I also wonder and think about how my brothers online friends before he gave his account to me are doing right now… Mind you, I was only five or six at the time and I was over here stealing all the boys and whatever. No idea, that was just how things went. After asking my dad to help me turn on my PlayStation, I just looked back at all the photos I took and levels I created. I was quite embarrassed really… I may have been on the worse side but I did have many fun playing… Here I am rewatching pretty much every single movie and revisiting memories. I am also full of guilt for not having the second game. I never get the second one anyways.

This game created an entire beautiful memory, and one I will never forget. This game gave me an amazing childhood, but also an amazing teenagehood.

I just wish the Sony would revive the franchise without a mediocre spinoff, like when I saw the trailer for the first time I almost geared up but then when I saw the gameplay I just got sad again. Just hope in the far far future we can see a little big planet 4. Don’t lose hope

I was really young when Little Big Planet first came out, and I remember playing it every single day since then with my little brother growing up. I have so many fun and amazing memories on there, especially little big planet 2. I remember when my ninog came over on a holiday, I forget which one, and gifted the special edition to me when it first came out. I didn't stop playing it until maybe, my 8th grade year. Then It was sort of on and off, when my days would get super bad, I'd remember it and hop on and play constantly and then forget about it again. I'm a senior in high school now and I don't think I'll ever be ready to let it go, even though the original story mode levels and such are playable, it won't ever be the same. And I dont particularly enjoy LBP3 as much...I dont even know how I will even be able to transfer all of my own costumes and moon levels onto it because I just recently got it. It's really devastating to say the least. But the memories I have with Little Big Planet, will always be happy ones. Thank you Little Big Planet for practically raising me, and allowing me to express my inner creativity, and allowing me to be apart of a wonderful community. I'll miss you so much ♡

This hits home. I'd go through school every day as a child just for the chance of playing this game. This was such an important part of my childhood. Thousands of hours just out into making friends, adventuring and what not. I'm so grateful. I love this game and it will always have a special place in my heart. Makes me feel good to know there's so many other people who've felt this
I miss the old days of lbp2 I’d play with my brother and cousins, Jeff the killer, a basketball game, mortal kombat, and spongebob deathruns. Now the lbp 3 servers are down and while lbp 4 is a good game, it’s just not the same

Ah, I remember finally beating the final boss, the Negativitron in Little Big Planet 2 for the first time! That was such a memorable and exciting moment for me!
when i was little i used to go the the final level like before you'd fight the negativitron and ask people to join my pod haha, it worked like 78% of the time

From playing whale survival, 1000 jumps, and jeff the killer these games are core memories. I will cherish them forever, and hey, maybe a new one will come out like the original trilogy. LBP will always have a special space in my heart it was my childhood and helped me through tough times and made so many friends who aren't active on PS3 altogether, the PS4 servers are up but they aren't the same as playing lbp 2 with online friends and irl friends

Ill never forget lbp as a series. The first time I played the game, it sparked something inside me. I wanted to be open minded, I wanted to see more imagination. I wanted to draw and create more things. Mostly though, it gave me the spirit to find my favorite thing, gaming. All I can do is cry when I see the game, and to see the servers have conceded, I don’t know what to feel. All good things must come to an end though. Lets just enjoy it while it lasted.
this honestly made me cry. i remember how i would come home when i was 5 and playing lbp 2 on my ps3 with my old friends. but as i get older i play it less and less frequently. this just reminded me how young and happy i was back then.

There is no comment I could write that would describe the joy I had when I used to log on my PS3 and play LBP 2 with my friends, whether it would be sandbox on the moon, or tsunami survival it was pure joy and happiness, thank Little Big Planet.
Dad got me LBP2 collectors edition the day it dropped after being obsessed with the first game. For the next 3 years I lived, ate, and breathed that fucking game. So many good memories and friends I made during that time. Almost 20 now, and it makes me wanna cry lol.

This game truly shaped me. My whole life was aimed at striving for creativity, experimenting and trying fun new projects, even if I start off badly, and being myself. I truly will never forget this amazing game for all of the memories it brought me. Feels like just yesterday I was sitting down, acing every level, playing the MM Picks, exploring the maps, and just having fun and exploring my creative side and finding out who I am as a person. This series means the world to me. Time to play the new one for PS5 :)
This game cant explain the expressions it gave me when I was a little kid just watching old clips just made me realize how happy I was. It shows how good of a game it was, and the memory's it gave me. Every time people talk about there childhood This is the first thing I bring up.

I met so many people on LBP, especially one kid named Liam back in 2016. He was 8 and I was 9 if I remember correctly. Man those were the days, eventually everything crumbled apart. But luckily I asked him if he had any social media accounts so we can keep in touch cause why not. I remember even saying that me and him would like to meet up someplace in Canada when we grow up one day, and he agreed. It brings a tear to my eye, all these memories are just slightly faded, in my mind but don’t know where. I’m 14, turning 15 atm, I hope we can legit meet in Canada one day, just 2 past friends hanging out.
LBP2 is one of my favorite games of all time because of the friends and bonds i made and grew through the community. I wouldn’t be so passionate about music or music production had I not met a certain someone on here. The games and anime I still love to this day, I wouldn’t have even known about without being a part of this community. This game and its community shaped who I am today and I’m grateful for that.
Memories of staying up late on the weekends with my friends from around the US and even the world, playing the newest MM Picks or messing around on the Moon making whatever the hell. This game will be missed and I’m still sad that the servers are gone for good…

Damn man, this game actually hits me right on the feels, ive always been pursuing creative activities but it became more eager when i played lbp 1, maybe at 6yr old? I loved to hear the introductory dialogue i loved to hop on moon just to destroy cardboard with the adjustable explosives i one day got lbp 2 and it was really good too i spended a lot of time on both games until i got lbp 3 and my 8 year old brain thought it was a very cool game now that im 15 i turned a lot of effort on making creative levels on it im currently making a adventure with a lot of playstation battle royale elements crazy to think this game held my hand for so much time, it aint dead for me, it will always live as a pleasent memory...
My sis and I used to play the first game all the time when we were younger, and then the second one.
We'd either go to the moon or play on some of the games other people made, and we struggled to play together in the story parts.
And even if neither of us knew there was a story behind LBP1's strange, emotional rollercoaster of a world, (Because we never read what the characters had to say.) it was fun all the same.
I started LBP at 2011 it was best time of my life on the ps3 I still have my pictures it hurts I was only 10 I’m 19 now I’ll never forget those memories the people I met the levels I played will always be in my heart

The game that defined joy, creativity and freedom to my childhood. I will always remember nearly every moment playing this game. LBP 2 might be one of my favorite games of all time. There isn’t, nor will there ever be, a game quite like it. And I am so glad I was able to experience it. This game will forever be a part of me.
It’s so strange that this game has such an emotional effect on me. I almost come to tears when I think about my time with it, and I’m not even exaggerating. So many friends, so many memories, so many levels made, so many experiences, I will never forget. It opened my creativity to a whole new level and made me want to get into being a musician a lot more with its clever Music Synthesizer stuff.
I still play the soundtrack when I feel like I’m empty.
God, I wish I could go back just to relive this period of my life again. I miss it.

It still kills me that the Little Big Planet game servers have closed... I had a great time looking for interesting levels (apart from the thousands of clones of jump levels / Bora Bora Island 1, Gummy Bear etc...)
Bora Bora Island 1 and 2 were really cool, moreover the fans created custom servers.
I used to play this when my mom was still alive this brings back so many memories of when she used to cook and I would run and get my food so I can hop back on LBP, who remembers everyone wanting the earth day shirt 😢

It is so hard to say goodbye to a game that I've played for 4 years, saying that this was played before I got my PS4.
And LBP 1, 2, Vita and more can get someone else to join them, (LBP 3) at anytime.
Now they have Sackboy A Big Adventure, there will be no telling when the game will shut down.

sleepyhead is about someone who cant accept someones gone and referring to them as "sleepyhead" and i think its poetic how well it fits with littlebigplanet now with all of us not wanting to let go after mm has moved on from it, believing its just dormant and holding onto that hope for a lbp4 .

Binged played the entire trilogy in 2019. Importing my sack boys from 1 to 2 tob3 to experience 3 journeys and custom levels was well...an experiance.
The Little big planet series is a great what if? To me it's, What if I was younger, got a ps3 instead of a 360 and got little big planet. I would have played it non-stop as a kid.
I hope the LBP community can preserve the games and archive the best of community levels. (Looking at the emulations, they still need ways to go).

I should be thanking my older brother for introducing me to this wonderful and beautiful game… I miss playing with others and making great friends… I also wonder and think about how my brothers online friends before he gave his account to me are doing right now… Mind you, I was only five or six at the time and I was over here stealing all the boys and whatever. No idea, that was just how things went. After asking my dad to help me turn on my PlayStation, I just looked back at all the photos I took and levels I created. I was quite embarrassed really… I may have been on the worse side but I did have many fun playing… Here I am rewatching pretty much every single movie and revisiting memories. I am also full of guilt for not having the second game. I never get the second one anyways.

besides that, the idea of the game being just pure fun, dreams and imagination, is just beautiful, i remember playing some levels twice, and the second time me and my dad make races and i remember laughing when someone fell off or something, i’m so grateful about this game.
