Hey guys.
In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the MiG29 Fulcrum fighting against the F16 Viper flown by LukTar (Thanks for the help buddy). Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.
My PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080ti
RAM: DDR4 Corsair 3200 MHz 32 GBB (total of 4 sticks so 128 GB in total)

That was some excellent 1 circle fighting- normally we see GS do the 'get slower' thing and focus on that, but you actually showed here how one can do reverses, and offsets- and then ,how to once there, TAKE ADVANTAGE of it- This is really neat, and good to file away for tricks to know in DCS. @LongShot So just my 2 cents. When using the R-60 or any IR guided missile that has sub-par off boresight maneuverability(AIM-9L, M, P, etc.), help the missiles out by leading your targets and/or launching when your foe performs a reversal infront of you. Doing this reduces the max G loading your missiles will endure and allows them more room to maneuver and correct their trajectory while tracking a target.
looks like you were right - that MIG-29 sure is one nimble fighter!

hes plaiyng a western game. What do you expect. In real life a good pilotinside a mig 29 will out turn any f16 in less than 3 minutes.

Remember to take out the vertical turning room at merges just like horizontal. In the first fight, first merge, you gave up 500+ feet of turning room that he used to prevent you getting the first shot. You should strive to rub canopies with as big a bite (angles) you can get at all merges.

Hey LS, why were you using the R-60 instead of the R-73 on the MiG-29? Isn’t the R-73 a more capable and maneuverable WVRAAM?

Excellent, both! Your editing are above the sky. Its fun to watch these F2 fights. The game can swift so fast. The ability to read the situation and adapt and overcome! Thats pure GS thing. We seen it and dont estimate Mig29.
why are you activating the radar for a dogfight? doesn't make sense... you are giving your position all the time. Also you are using a weak missiles instead the 80s Aim-9M equivalent. The R-73...

It seems like the Mig-29 did more of sinking towards the ground rather than flying high and fast.

The mighty mig 29 is the Bruce Lee of fighter jets.
I reckon the Mig29/M/35 is an overall better plane than the F16 as it not only a good air to air but also air to ground.
Hey long shot good dog fights! The sidewinders on that 29 are useless. I can't believe that. Looks like they're used if you're trailing somebody straight. LoL. What would be the best Russian fighter in your opinion out of the FC3 package or super carrier package?

Why not use modern fox2 Russian missiles? And use them only when you have a high POK...? You can also use differential thrust....
They don't use them because the f16 would only then scratch. The Mig29 pierces it with a cannon and with the R73 it would make a massacre over the f16
Again, the weakest part of the Fulcrum could have been the easiest to fix, but motherland said _nyet._
Even if poor you, can fight your way into a firing position, oh no, you still have that shitty gunsight with the lousy funnel so good luck for a snapshot.
Which could be your one opportunity before your side loses the entire aircraft and possibly the pilot as well.
But hey, stil worth trading in that dunno couple of grands worth of rubles not spent for the seven figures jet and some collateral personnel loss.
Press 8 And you'll get the Best gunsight for a no-lock situation

R-60M had excellent tracking and maneuverability, but the tiny warhead meant the targets had to be double tapped to ensure a kill as observed in air battles over Angola and Middle east.
