Your opinion about poisonous chasm is so correct also another reasom why poisonous chasm is the easiest crazy and forgiving is that it reduce its difficulty a lot which made the map exactly easier but this crazy map can be only in solo due to the pacing
If I were to rank them: Familiar Ruins - easy map with easy jumps but the second room acid rises at a weirdly fast pace Abandoned Facility - the buff was more significant than people say but it’s still pretty straightforward, one of the more confusing maps Gloomy Manor - hard jumps but pacing is almost nonexistent Lost Desert - very balanced, nothing to say Magmatic Mines - climbing section is a pain but after that very simple jumps and moderate pacing Fallen - confusing route progression, head hitting jumps and arguable the fastest pacing out of any insane Satomi Springs - several long jumps, consistent difficulty and pacing, but becomes easier in multiplayer Sinking Ship - jumps don’t standout but the climbing section can be a pain especially without shortcuts Beneath the Ruins - some tricky sections but pacing is on the slower side of insanes and becomes much easier to do in multiplayer, though some of the jumps and route progression can be confusing Dark-Sci Facility - first room could count as a crazy, the second half feels like a hard. Wedge jump is still a pain, the buttons are committal and hard to get Poisonous Chasm - not a lot of standout hard jumps, the most leniently paced of the crazies Ignis Peaks - wall jumps can be terrifying, and the river section must be pulled off almost flawlessly Blue Moon - shortcuts are required, pacing ramps up in the last 5 seconds Sandswept Ruins - the middle section fits an insane difficulty but the beginning and middle are some of the hardest in the entire FE2 and CM, strict pacing, super far jumps, if it wasn’t for the middle segment it could be the first Crazy+ map
Im kinda late but im here 😅 Honestly the only insane I have the ability to solo is Familiar Ruins, nothing else. (By this I meant the only map I can do w/out struggling for weeks) Even at this point Im not used to the routes and stuffs in most of the maps in this list, which is very much questionable. Anyways enough of my ranting lmfao, gj on getting so good at the game, ur gameplay looked epic n flawless 👏
imo fallen would be an easier insane map than satomi, because satomi has longjumps, and view blocking decorations. keep in mind the lava is rising fast underneath you all the time.
My opinions for the crazy maps is this 4th poisonous chasm since it is much easier in multiplayer and like you just said it is forgiving even though the pacing is really fast 3rd ignis peak 2nd blue moon 1st sandswept ruins
Also in poisonous chasm making 2 or 3 mistakes depending on how much you time and how fast you are even if you use shortcuts then you will die or survived this happens to me and making 1 mistake without using shortcuts then the lava would kill you
Now I stopped to think I went from almost insane, ok I went from dark sci facility which is harder than a sinking ship, how? I'm thinking it's because the sinking ship is very tense the music makes it very tense, abandoned facility I didn't pass it either BUT I PASSED THE DARK SCI FACILITY I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW I GOT PASSED 😰😭
The difficulty order in the video is entirely based on my personal opinion. Good job for beating DSF though, as it’s difficult for most people, and good luck beating your remaining maps.
I tried to do Poisonous Chasm and Blue Moon in FE2 Map test(for practice), and I got a progress check on that and got 38% on Poisonous Chasm and got 34% on Blue Moon. So I think Blue Moon is the hardest crazy and Poisonous Chasm is the easiest crazy.

What i mean is poisonous chasm is that it can only be hard in solo and reduce its difficulty a lot in multiplayer
Dude on abandon facility no one was pressing the last button and when it got pressed we escaped right when the lava got to us
I used to play a lot of FE2 back in 2020 and early 2021 and listening to all the old map soundtracks now I feel nostalgia
If I were to rank them:
