- I just bought this 2020 Suzuki Drz 125L a few days ago and have been breaking it in. I'll be bringing a review and a few comparisons in the near future! Do you think I should customize this bike or do any mods to it? Let me know in the comments!
That bike has been in production with the same engine since 1982. Which is a testament to how good that design is. I had an earlier model. The earlier ones had a 6 speed but the newer ones have a 5 speed for some reason. Other than that, it is unchanged. Incredibly reliable and durable bikes. They can run for decades without anything breaking. Go anywhere, over anything. I put lights on mine and put it on the road and got 100 miles per gallon.
Probably like 45 miles a gallon max.
Is it a boys bike or a man’s bike?
My dad got me the same dirt bike a month ago and I put new grips and a FMF exhaust on it, and I wanna get new Handlebars, it’s a great dirt bike for a beginner and fun to tool around on
This bike was such a great part of my childhood
The wheelies are so clean omg, yellow looks great to.
i love this bike snatched one up a week ago really fun pit bike to mess around with.
No way bro I got those exact sam gloves as you do 😂 nice! Btw I have a klx 125 which is the exact same as the drz 125 but some of the mods that I put on mine were pro taper handle bars, scott grips, an fmf power core 4 slip on pipe, and I put a shit ton of Kawasaki stickers and a couple other popular motocross racing brands like fox racing, O’Neal, and monster energy on the plastics but when I bought the bike it has rims on in that made the bike the size of a 250 anyways great video! I hope you love your drz 125!
Very nice Suzuki trail bike. Can't go wrong w/Suzuki dirtbikes. Do good basic maintenance it will last forever. 👌
The first mod I did to mine I got about a week or 2 ago is a grip seat cover that also matches the bike. I’m also thinking about grips and bars that’s what I wanna do to my bike
Hey man i have a 2019 DRZ 125L and i definitely recommend you get some good handlebars because i took one fall on my bike and the handlebars bent and they were stock bars. Ever since i got new ones everything has been good 👍
Thanks for the info man! I might go out and look for new bars and some new grips too
Nice bike my buddy has a 125 Suzuki two stroke
Hell yeah! I bet that 2 stroke is a lot of fun to rip around on!
Cool video ! You should try a pipe or a full exhaust , new handlebars (or at least grips) and if you really wanna tune it , a bigger carb ! Have fun :)
I have been looking at the new Honda CRF125F Big Wheel, but then I discovered the Suzuki DRZ125L.. After checking out the specs on both bikes, I definitely will be getting the Suzuki instead. The Suzuki has more wheel travel, higher compression engine, less overall weight, aluminum rims, costs less, and is a Five Speed! The Honda is only a 4 speed. Have you ridden your DRZ long enough now to have an opinion of how it does off road?
This Bike does fantastic off road there's nothing I haven't been able to do with it! If you have the bike already I hope you're enjoying it man!
@@MotoJai Yep, I got it a week and a half ago and finished the 15hr break-in a few days ago. This bike is nice! I took it out to an off-road park that has a lot of good single track, hills, creeks, and woods to test it out. It does great, the suspension is surprisingly good even with my weight (180lbs), and it fits me well, I'm 5'10". It may be a tad smallish, but doesn't feel cramped. The front disk brake is a lot stronger than I expected, very nice. Handles great, shifts smooth as butter, climbs the hills great too. Really enjoying this bike!
How do you break it in like just dont go fast ? Or is there like a procedure
Hey you think a 125 is good for me I’m trying to buy one and I am 5’10 u think it’s good size for me
It really comes down to preference but I am 6 ft and I personally love it. It fits me pretty well.
