What I've noticed from them 3: Haram - has the most distinctive/unique tone Ahyeon - the versatile one Chiquita - aqua clean vocal w/ really good control (& somehow hits me in the feels) I'm curious to the kind of synergy & music that they'd have as a group. She’s also got a really unique tone for kpop… it’s more rich, super clear, her belting , her raps, her adlibs on songs are always chefs kiss…. Her stage presence will blow you away… she’s charismatic af and truly loves the stage. Ramis vocals are so powerful and pretty … her range is wild and she can do so much with it. And yes you should watch the remaining members, there are 2 in particular that im sure will catch your attention. Since you are a rapper, and YG Ent. is well known for their rappers, you will not be disappointed on what's to come. Also (6:03) this were not tryout videos. The members have been trainees under YGE for quite some time (around 4 years more or less). Some videos are from monthly evaluations and can be from a couple years ago (trainees have to go through monthly evaluations until they debut). Others are probably recorded more recently to showcase their skills for the debut.

Who is Baby Monster? That was almost one of the names of Blackpink. YG has kept that name under wraps and the Baby Monster concept is similar to Blackpink, with a cute girly side and a savage side. Also note that Jennie and Lisa have already revealed their direct interactions and mentor activities with them. Jisoo and Rose' have mentioned seeing them (probably during some of their monthly testings) but have not commented in mentorship yet. Baemon (the Korean shortening of BabyMonster) definitely has YG genes and you can tell that the success of Blackpink has influenced the scouting of talent for this group. They are all so young and talented. Cannot wait to see more of them. Please react to the rest of the group too. I think this is a group to watch in the future.
