@@Soniti1324no it wasn't. Tasers are completely ineffective. One because they fail 90% of the time and two because even if they did work officers wait far too long to deploy them. The perp was already in the lethal range with a blade weapon and the taser was a liability at that point.
Most likely were staged near by bc of the type of call received, usual outcome and plus he already stabbed himself so there’s also that for why they’d be on standby somewhere off scene
Their immediate response definitely helped the suspect survive, I feel like in a lot of these videos the suspect would have a better chance of surviving if they could just extract them to the hospital themselves but I know that's not protocol at all

Who is "they"? You do know "crazy people" have rights also. And who determines who is "crazy'? If someone is acting weird they should be locked in a psych hospital for life? You gonna pay their bills? There is this thing called the Constitution. Kind of prevents people from being locked up for life for acting odd.
I called 911 once when I was in an auto accident and within 5 seconds of ending the call, the Police and an ambulance arrived and the firetruck arrived within 45 seconds. I was nearby the Fire/Police station and the ambulance and Police officer just happened to be parked within 1000ft or less at the plaza nearby. With live-911 the Police can get to calls extremely fast sometimes. Especially if the call is a child choking or drowned, anything involving kids, you'll see unrealistic response times as everyone is going CODE and everyone is going as fast as the vehicle will go! Another day my daughter and I witnessed an accident and while I was on the phone with 911, a Sheriff's Deputy arrived within seconds, maybe 10-15 seconds into the call the first unit arrived. Right time and right place, plus good technology and good dispatch can all work really well when done right. Obviously different areas and departments will not be able to have fast response times. Every department and every city and state is different, and especially in rural areas and bad areas, you'll rarely see fast response times. My nephew works a bad gang and drug area and his department has an extremely high officer involved shooting rate, amongst the highest in the nation. His SGT., has been cleared in 6 different OIS incidents. My nephew has already been in deadly situations and almost pulled the trigger a few times and would've been justified in doing so. However if you were to call 911 in his city and it wasn't a life and death situation, they are either not coming or it'll take awhile. Sometimes they have to respond many hours later or the next day, but often they just tell callers, sorry that is a personal issue or a property crime and we can't respond right now. If it's a civil matter, yeah they don't even come. Shoplifting or something that is not worth their time, they can't usually respond and if it is something that requires a police report, you maybe waiting for many hours or days. He typically finds at least one or two guns on each shift and routinely responds to shootings and armed robberies...just one serious call to the next, all day everyday. Than there are the nicer area's with big budgets and great training and technology and with live 911, an law enforcement officer or say Battalion Chief can start responding to the area or address given at the beginning of the call and doesn't have to even wait for dispatch to put the call out. They can hear the 911 calls from their cars.

It's necessary spending because China and Russia also spend tons on that, and the U.S. doesn't want most of the world falling under those countries' control. Also it isn't really a money issue at all. There are much poorer countries that have drastically lower crime rates like in several Asia countries. The lack of spending isn't as big of a factor as lack of punishment. For example, the U.S. barely punishes DUI at all. None of the states are as harsh as EU and Asia, so it keeps happening.

The probes from the taser did make connection, so it wasn’t an entirely terrible idea.
