Love you guys but You see the prophets protesting and warning where society is heading so it’s not quite true we don’t see that in scripture. I mean that’s not your guys call I get it but don’t knock the call of those who have a fire in their belly to warn what will happen if society doesn’t listen to God.
Are you guys reading the same scripture as me? I don’t see the early Church being persecuted because they stayed in their own lane. If the Spirit moved at pentecost, why, for what reason? The move of God cannot be controlled or contained by your thinking and your thoughts of how we should be salt and light. It is because the world is dark and has lost its saltiness that we are hated by the world. The darkness hates the light, should we hide our light? Keep the lights in the church. The Church today is so concerned about being nice and so careful not to offend that it has lost its way. Remember it’s the narrow way few will find it, you might consider if you are more interested in safety and security or in advancing the Gospel at the risk of offending others. The apostles were not the only ones told to stop preaching Christ. Now how do we define what it looks like to be followers of Christ is the question. Matthew 5 is a good read on being a light on a hill and so much more.

@Aaronservant0 When I used to believe that I had to turn from my sins to prove I was saved and maintain it not to lose my salvation made me wish I was never born so I just thought I am going to hell anyway.When I understood the true gospel by faith alone and what Jesus did for us not to go to hell cause he loved us 1st that I became born again with everlasting life.that been making it easier for me to sin less.I know we should maintain good works for better life.If everyone in America can understand that it would save America no doult and we all go to heven❤🙏

What was the rebuke? Was it stop working, get back in the boat, or was it encouragement to have more faith. We walk by faith and some times it will cost you, Daniel 8:18 But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” What god to we sacrifice our babies to? Why do so few protest and why do some condemn them and tell them it’s not the churches concern? This I struggle to understand from radical grace preaching. Abortion is just one of the many attacks on the things that God has said are righteous. We can think of many examples, family, gender, human sexuality, Marriage, parental rights, the churches right to meet and more. To say the Church should remain silent is wrong, we should be prepared for the consequences for peaceful Christian protest against sin. If we claim to love those who hate us, we are called to guide them in righteous by our example, for their good, even if they don’t realize that it for their good.

Glad you can limit the context of scripture to be anti-biblical morality in the church and in the society. I dont see how you manage it.
