Well no. Any nick in the major vein will work. About in the armpit, and in the crotch, the airway. Lots of places you can do to kill someone with a small knife. If you know your anatomy it isn't that hard to think of this.
AltShiftSpam also the neck is an easy spot to hit. chances are they won't be actively defending it. whereas stabbing someone in the armpit means they have to have raised their arm and if they have done that they are probably swinging a punch right at your face.
AltShiftSpam Actually under the jaw, unless you hit the major veins, is not going to kill everyone. The fact is you can kill someone FAST by just slicing under the arm because you are cutting a major vein. From where he is stabbing in several cases he is stabbing Up into the jaw. In that area. That's not exactly a kill shot. Its easier to make a nick on the major veins, and leave since the person is going to be concentrated on stopping their bleeding out. Just watch the 'fight' scenes again. You'll see SOME of the stabs aren't even in deadly areas. It can be HARD to hit the major veins in the neck. Unless he is going for the wind pipe, or the base of the brain, he isn't always hitting the major areas. And on that, that knife isn't big enough to HIT the base of the brain. Not accounting for the brain of course.
+stave I'd prefer a bad last 10 minutes of a Paranormal Activity than a bad Saw movie. The only thing I've been interested in in the Paranormal Activity movies were the endings. Those are the only parts I remember, to be honest. All the goreshit in Saw gets kinda old after a while, while tension of that kind doesn't get old that fast.
Because every time I've ever seen a romantic/sexual situation where it's one guy and two girls the two girls end up attacking each other instead of ganging up on the guy who is sleeping with both of them and knowing cheating on them with each other.
Alex Hendel The lead singer of Linkin Park that he mentioned having having a cameo in the last movie. He committed suicide a few months ago. Kinda messed up to see him in it now.
For an actor that Dr. Gordon fellow is the worst liar i've ever seen. "Saw 7 is by faaar the best" - shakes his head no. "But... you know i have lots of fans from many different movies" - Shakes his head no again.
As much as I love Tobin Bell's acting, seeing him with a hoodie and a backwards baseball cap made me laugh. It's like he's pretending to be a teen or something.
+juppukun Lol same. I'm kinda expecting him to say, "Well, me and my fourth form chums think it would be quite corking if you'd sign over your oil well to the local energy concern."
I liked the first two Saw movies because it was genuinely about a madman who wanted to teach people to appreciate their lives. Sure the second one had plot holes and inconsistencies, but it was still a solid Saw movie with a bunch of people who were anything but innocent. I could get behind a twisted villain who didn't think he was doing anything wrong on that basis. And despite the fact that his victims were morally reprehensible, you could still sympathise with them. Like, for example, the black guy in the second movie. Yes, he was a criminal, but he repented/paid for his crimes and wanted to move on. Amanda was just a suicidal junkie with a hard life. It's not like she'd killed anyone ... yet. The blonde chick and Spanish chick in the second movie were only thieves or something. It's not like the audience didn't root for them. And obviously the characters in the first movie were iconic and likeable. But after those two movies, Jigsaw and his little posse started killing innocent people for no reason. About every other victim was a nobody who, at the very MOST, deserved a slap on the wrist. Unless they were the worst of the worst, like the fat rapist in the ... fifth movie? I don't know anymore. But yeah, when they brought in characters like that, no one gave a shit when they died. Why would we? There was no sense of tension, no suspense, no need for deductions, no horror, no satisfying conclusion; it was just a cluster fuck of gore. The wife burning to death in the last film was absolutely disgusting. They gave her the most grisly and arguably painful death in the entire franchise, when she didn't do anything wrong. Jigsaw _never_ would have done that. I know it was his trap, but the writers/directors lost the plot way before that. They actually _did_ turn Saw into nothing more than mindless torture porn, with an added nonsensical twist at the end of every sequel that screamed, "Look! We're still smart! We're not _just_ about the violence!" -_______-
kirikakirikakirika in the first film Jigsaw placed a mother and her young daughter in the game faced with a man who was told to shoot them both if her husband didn’t complete the game in time - so I disagree that Jigsaw wouldn’t have mistreated innocent people. Maybe he wouldn’t have used something as harrowing as a brazen bull, but he certainly traumatized two young children (Saw and Saw III) and wantonly threatened their lives. He also placed an immobilized but still alive guy in with Amanda, and she had to stab into his stomach to get her key - he didn’t have a chance either. The death of the loyal wife in Saw 3D was particularly nasty, but Cramer was always a psychotic, delusional asshole.
@@steves1015 I said Saw III wasn't really a film I enjoyed. Just the first two. I agree he probably traumatised the wife and daughter in the first film, but didn't it turn out that they were never actually in any danger? It's been a while since I've watched it, but didn't he set it up in such a way that the shooter would be taken out before hurting them? And Amanda's boyfriend, wasn't he also a junkie and her dealer? And he could've lived, Amanda just had to spare him and sacrifice herself. I'm not saying his games weren't unfair, but for the most part you understood where he was coming from. He was wrong and insane, but interesting and understandable. Then with Saw III and everything after ... it just went way down hill.
Could also argue the two main characters in the first film being punished was unjustified? You got a paparrazi/photographer, and a doctor who actually saves lives or makes them better and should not be punished.
I usually binge watch yms reviews every so often, and I always forget which is the vomiting one. Glad I have fast reflexes, I don't need to see that more than once.
Is it me, or does the blood in Saw 3D look really pink? I mean, sometimes it's mostly red but just a little discolored, but at the end, it's Danganronpa levels of discolored.
Probably. It's actually a way to get around the censors. By desaturating the colour of the blood you can get away with showing so much more blood It's stupid, but it works and I assume that's why they did it
Fun fact, Danganronpa’s pink blood was never censorship, it’s a common misconception. It’s actually an intentional stylistic choice. Kodaka said it looked cool and fit the “psycho pop” aesthetics of the game. He even said “the imagery of red blood was kinda meh”
+coolfunkDJ I watched the review to see if I should watch all the ones after the first, and as it turns out, I've seen them all at some point. talk about unmemorable, huh?

His pectoral muscles would’ve been far too damaged to pull the same trick (hook) twice, all Jigsaw had to do was say, “take your shirt off.” That kind of scar would never heal enough to be completely hidden-hell, I messed with a scratch on my forehead one time too many, and now it’s got a mark on it for life. Even surgery would leave a mark.
LOL WTF I have never seen anyone puke like that. It's like the people that can burp on command but you do it with vomit. The anticipation of pain, with no physical feedback could work. If the video game was designed right, like perhaps making choices between characters the player has attachment to. And I don't know how advanced Vive controllers are or anything, but Switch joycon's HD rumble can create illusions of weight, so with the right equipment it would be possible to simulate some thing physical. Either way it's a terrible idea because if it gets pulled off correctly it would be extremely traumatizing.
Have you ever made yourself burp? Its very similar to that. Its called regurgitating and there's this dude thats famous for doing it with water. He drinks hella water and acts like a human hose 😂😂😂
Edgy Veggie Cult of Chucky was one big ass clusterfuck. Who put that movie on all the drugs? By the way they ended it, it makes it look like they are expecting to make another one. However, I am looking forward to Jigsaw.
shortcake gogh I would love to go and watch Jigsaw but it's R18+ over here so I can't watch it. I'll definitely watch it once it's on blu ray. Or even just an online copy.
_Spiral_ abandoned this overarching overdrawn theme of the later sequels, and instead just established that apparently most unrelated serial killers in the world of _Saw_ function like Jigsaw, because making all these recordings and putting victims in elaborate traps is just so much cooler than killing them on the spot. Even those killers who just want to kill their target without any consideration for giving them a choice or a chance to survive will still go through the trouble of setting up an elaborate trap and the illusion of choice, kind of like what Hoffman did to his first victim only even more elaborate. This isn’t even a plot twist - the movie and even the trailer clearly establish from the very start that the villain is a completely new serial killer, he just chose to kill his victims that way Jigsaw did.
Watching Adam make himself throw up was somehow 50 times more upsetting than anything in any Saw movie.

Fun fact: In French, Saw 6 is pronounced exactly like "Saucisse" which means "Sausage".

We're not _just_ about the violence!"
-_______-
kirikakirikakirika in the first film Jigsaw placed a mother and her young daughter in the game faced with a man who was told to shoot them both if her husband didn’t complete the game in time - so I disagree that Jigsaw wouldn’t have mistreated innocent people.
@@steves1015
I said Saw III wasn't really a film I enjoyed.

But then again, maybe that's an absolutely terrible idea, lol.
Brian Hope nah that’s a great idea
Saw doesn’t lend itself to a game very well since the fact that you’re not feeling the pain yourself, and therefore there’s no real conflict
xfritz5375 oh yeah, forgot about that
The anticipation of pain, with no physical feedback could work.

Oh boy I can't wait for saw XXIV when they reveal there was a team of 100 people working with Jigsaw
