I think the actress did a good job, but the grip is why make a live action version of classic animated movies that that are basically the same except “made for a modern audience”. And sometimes I get the feeling Disney would stir up controversy to get attention. Because instead of making remakes, why not look at other fairy tales and folk lore from countries all over the world. Why retell the same stories?

I used to work at a grocery store when I was 18, and there was this tiny middle aged guy who worked in the kitchens, no idea what his name was bc only kitchen staff was allowed back there, but he would whistle. I’ve never in my life not been annoyed by whistling except this one dude. He would whistle these mournful, heartbreaking melodies, and they were so beautiful. It sounded like a woodwind instrument playing. I can barely whistle without doing a raspberry, so I was very impressed lol. I hope he’s doing well 😭
