Cool!! Not my cup of tea but appreciate the unique design elements. Better than another “eclectic” that showcases the “unique personality” of the homeowner
Question about concrete dining table: are there any precautions to take to make sure its safe for dining activities? Any special coating needed to prevent micro particles from coming off over time?
Kudos to Staked Homes for featuring radical interior design theme. “Brutalist” is not for everyone, but this video certainly helps viewers to think out of the box when it comes to designing one’s home.
Brutalism may not appeal to everyone, but it definitely pushes the boundaries and inspires viewers to explore new ideas when it comes to their own spaces.
it looks amazing! Very thoughtthrough, unique and clean. I personally would feel like living in a shoe store but I love to see that people put all the effort in to make a home that suits them.
is this purposely filmed without turning on most lighting? would've love to see this at night. a casette aircon or a dark aircon should be a nice add on. (the current aircon is such a softspot for a brutalist) the owner's hair is brutalist theme too. with ashes from the unfinished pillar 10/10! minus 0.5 cos that ballon is giving off IT's vibes
Very interesting design. Amazing office space, really impressive use of glass walls/door to make the space feel "work" like. Beautifully shot, as always.
Once in a while, we get to see these episodes of interior decoration/design/style that leave a lasting impression.... Many house owners want more light into the house....not this house owner...and yes, he is lucky to have his wife agreed to this design... Initially I thought it was one of the bachelor type houses (sneakers on display and cave-like interior...I guess that's why we have the term "man cave"...) and finally...no more Aesop hand wash soap in toilets...will probably look out of place in a brutalist setting, no?
Yeah, I'm live in a tropical region but it's still quite cold in winter (now). So while summer is a bless I could freeze my ass off just by imagine sitting in this place.
Not my style it’s cold and colorless, but you cannot deny that he has his own personality and specific design style, and firm way of the things he want in his home, that’s brutal 😅
While brutalist design can be striking with its strong lines and materials, the lack of natural light can make it feel a bit heavy and oppressive for some. 😊
It sounds like this home really speaks to your style and preferences! It's always great when you find a space that feels perfectly aligned with your taste.
It’s great that you’re exploring brutalist design! The materials-concrete, steel, and raw finishes-definitely create a striking, strong aesthetic. But you’re right, the lack of natural light is a common challenge with brutalism. 😊

Love it! So unique and bold a vision.
It’s definitely a statement home with a vision that stands out!
looks like a retail store 💯 that survived the apocalypse 😂
Uniquely bold and striking! 😄
Yes, this is what I like about watching house tour, you could know the region, the people live in it just by the design and interior.
Absolutely, homes are like mirrors of their environment and the lives of their owners. 😊

It's definitely tailored to their taste-great to see how personal touches can turn bold ideas into a home! 😊

The glass elements do an excellent job blending functionality with an open, airy feel. 😊
luckily, daughter's room is kinda normal..
The daughter’s room offers a bit of a break from the more intense design choices elsewhere in the home. 😊

Brutalist interiors in contrast with a modern Danish style kitchen and Mid Century Modern furniture accents. Very masculine.
That mix of styles creates such a bold and striking statement.
So cosy
That's a cool mancave
A well-designed mancave indeed 💯
I thought there should be a gym as part of the requirements from the wife?
Dark and cold is perfect for the hot tropical weather. When it is blazing hot outside I like hiding somewhere dark.
Yeah, I'm live in a tropical region but it's still quite cold in winter (now). So while summer is a bless I could freeze my ass off just by imagine sitting in this place.
That makes sense! Dark, cool spaces can be a real relief in tropical climates. 😊
Not my style it’s cold and colorless, but you cannot deny that he has his own personality and specific design style, and firm way of the things he want in his home, that’s brutal 😅
Definitely a bold and decisive approach-brutal in the best sense! 😊
Very nicely designed with a nice edge, however I would need much more natural light. Too dark for my head.
While brutalist design can be striking with its strong lines and materials, the lack of natural light can make it feel a bit heavy and oppressive for some. 😊
Very beautiful and well designed. Lots of characteristics.
Thank you so much 😀
Not for everyone but it’s for me ❤
It sounds like this home really speaks to your style and preferences! It's always great when you find a space that feels perfectly aligned with your taste.
I really love this! As an architect, I also dream of building my own brutalist inspired home, this hit the spot ❤
That's fantastic! A brutalist-inspired home would definitely be an exciting project, combining bold materials and architectural integrity. 😊
wow.. how to do cleaning? headache vsia
I was curious about what brutalist design was. I actually like the materials used. I just need light. 😂😂

Beautiful!!!!
Thank you, it is 😊
Wow~ that's dark and cold look. Nice touch on that rustic paint on broken wall. Feel like missing a wall mural/graffiti art somewhere
The raw, moody vibe is definitely striking.
Nice but not for me, but it's still better than the "suicide squad" house. This one actually looks complete. haha
Haha, I get what you mean! Brutalist design isn't for everyone, and it definitely has a bold, intense vibe.😊
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Looks very interesting but just pressured cooked food, 😮 plz kill me lol
Definitely a unique perspective-design can stir all kinds of reactions! 😅
Mid-century modernism is where it's at...true brutalist interior is too cold for homes imo
I get what you mean-perspective really plays a role on the design 😊
