I brought out the Lixada Multi Fuel Stove to do another test and cook a meal on it.
Unfortunately, the stove did not cooperate with me this trip and I did not get to cook a meal with it. I have since examined the stove at home and have done some tests without naphtha (White Gas) and it now seems to run fine so I'll be taking it out again soon for another test of its cooking abilities.
I was hungry and I wanted to cook up a meal so I lit up the Emberlit stove to cook my meal on that. I'll show that in another video.

This was entertaining, it shows the frustration that sometimes accompanies camping gear.Just shows that Redundancy is key, you can never have enough back up devices.

Thanks, I think when things go wrong it makes for good video 😄 I try to keep my screw-ups and failures in the video so that people can laugh or learn something on what not to do.
The redundancy is definitely key especially when you want to eat 😁
Thank you for watching, I appreciate it!

I believe once you have the flame lit you are suppose to let it burn till the liquid fuel gasifies, i think you turned the gas up to quickly before it was hot enough to vaporize the fuel . It takes a min or 2 to prime.

You are right, you are supposed to let the flame burn until the liquid fuel gasifies. I thought I had done that but after I re-watched the video that may have been the problem. I do know that the nozzle (fuel jet) was clogged after it cooled down and I tried cleaning it. Trying to turn it up too soon may have caused the clog.
In subsequent tries, it has worked no problem now. So I’ll remember to make sure I let it burn until it almost goes out and then I will open the gas slowly.

    hey there,
have you ever read the manual from the burner ?
First of all.... aren't there on and off markings on your pump??
It must be ensured that the suction hose reaches into the fuel.... if you turn the bottle/pump upside down, the burner only sucks in air and goes out!
This function is also used to extingush and empty the supply line.
Then... there should be a steel wire / cable in the pipe above the burner which you can clean... check if it's stuck!
With all the best from Germania
    Jürgen

      Hi Jürgen,
Thank you for watching the video!
I did read the manual. The instructions that it contains are not the best.
I do not believe there are any markings on the pump. I will check again to make sure.
The suction hose does reach the fuel. It seems the problem was with a clogged nozzle. I'm not sure how the nozzle got clogged because the naphtha is in a new container and I have made sure not to contaminate it with anything. It may be that the bottle the fuel goes into had some residue from the factory before the stove was shipped.
I cleaned out the nozzle and had re-tried a third time and it worked as it should. I was able to cook my meal. I turned it off and once it cooled off, I tried to light it again and turn it on and it worked. I'm going to get it out next weekend to try it again and see if it works. Hopefully, it does because I like the stove and the versatility of it.
Thank you for the tip about turning the bottle/pump upside down to have it suck in air and empty the supply line. I'm going to try that.
I will have to look for the steel wire/cable in the pipe above the burner. I'm not sure I can see how to clean that. I will pull out the stove tomorrow to see if I can find that and to see how I'd be able to clean it.
I'll let you know what I find out.
      Thank you :-)

Do you think that, that fuel somehow jumps into that pipe, If just add pressure.... 🤷🤷🤷
I had one... Most definitely not as complicated as made look here...
Works just fine, if using correct nozzles to correct fuel.. and keep that fuel tank upright

      No, it normally is fine.
I've used this stove a lot more times, since I filmed this video a couple years ago, and I enjoy using it. It may be time for a cleaning though.
I think it's good to show failures for everyone to see. Not everything in life turns out perfectly😁

Instead of turning the whole fuel bottle around just use the black screw where it connects with the valve

I think I tried that, but it did not work on this stove. I'll give it another shot to see if I can get that to work.

upright works better than lying down in the wrong position.

Guter Kocher ABER sehr schlecht verarbeitet.

      That is scary!
I'll keep an eye out for that when I'm using it with the liquid fuel!
      Thank you for the warning!

Don’t pump so much. 20 pumps will last you well over 10 minutes.

Thanks Johan. I'll try it with just 20 pumps next time.
