- Matchbox has released hundreds of different police cars over the years, from Mercedes and BMW, to Chevy and Ford. But imagine going into your favourite diecast shop and seeing every peg loaded with police cars from the past 25 years. Matchbox Police Car fans, his video was made for you!
:A nice five pack at the end there are some great five pack police releases Texas state trooper and NYPD to name a few. The Dodge Charger Pursuit Metro Police with blacked out wheels looks really good especialy a few together an aggressive look! Great collection as Judge Dredd would say "Obey the law"!

I'm paused at the 18 second mark....to say a few words Tyrone...the first video I ever saw of yours was a police car video around October of 2020... I was quite pleased and quickly subbed to your delightful channel...I have missed a video here and there but have tried to catch them all and as soon as I could and have tried to catch up on the others...anyways I am rambling but I honestly think u have made most of my days a little bit better I love your collection and feel like an old dear friend every time I hear your voice...but the way you started this off up to now has me on the moon right now...I'm gonna un pause this and carry on but I wanted to say ty from your fellow collectors And a hell yeah from southern Tennessee.... 👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪💪

You show on every video just how incredible Matchbox die-cast was in the past, is in the present, and how they compare to what they have been releasing now. Matchbox truly has the realistic advantage to Hot🔥Wheels. I do like them both but Matchbox's attention to detail is spot on many of the licensed models. The rescue vehicles and police cruisers are no exception. Even some interiors are well done and detailed. I just wish they were more accessible. Awesome video again! Well done!

I wondered how on earth you were going to cover so many. I like the mix of different shots/styles and breaks in the presentations. You nailed it. Comprehensive….yet concise. A fantastic array of police cars sir, Matchbox has made some great ones over the years. While I will always love the Crown Vics and Chargers, my favorites here are the more obscure ones, especially the Subarus and Mitsubishis. The BMWs are nice as well.

Sheriff in Canada are mostly similar to your Australian ones although some provinces like Alberta let them do more law enforcement.

A sheriff in America, is an elected official, they answer to the public and have more authority than any local police department. That's who you go to with problems because they serve YOU. Local police serve town officials.

I may be wrong about this and if I am I hope someone corrects me here but Canadian sheriffs seem to be similar to what you have in Australia while U.S sheriffs are basically heads of the county police departments and are therefore a lot more visible. American cities usually have their own police departments (but they still have county sheriffs who run the jails) but a lot of rural counties only have the sheriff's department for police. Rural towns in Canada are usually served by the closest detachment of the provincial police or even the RCMP. I myself used to live in a small town just outside of Montreal that had its own police department that was shut down around two decades ago and replaced by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the Quebec provincial police agency.
I forgot one, some areas in Canada, especially on the outskirts of Toronto (i.e. Peel), have regional police agencies which are considered municipal police agencies (for Peel, it's essentially the Mississauga Police Department serving an area well outside of Mississauga proper) but they have a broader scope and are probably the police agencies in Canada most comparable to rural county sheriff's departments in the United States.
Canada also has miscellaneous police agencies like military police and railway police.
Lots of helpful and interesting information here, Steve. The only interaction I had with Canadian authorities was at the U.S border. They were very polite and efficient. I can’t remember seeing a police or sheriff vehicle at all but we were only in Canada for a few days. We stayed in Toronto before driving to Washington D.C. Travel seems out of reach now. 🤷♂️

Hi, dmdni. Many of these cars were bought through sites like Facebook marketplace, Gumtree or eBay. Occasionally I’ll purchase a large amount from Global Diecast which are in the U.S.
I also have a group of friends around the world that I’ve met through this amazing hobby, who I trade with. 🦘👍

I think the sheriff is still around because it wouldn’t fit for a city police to be in the country sides of America because they have jurisdictions really only highways are where they meet up but sheriffs can be in the county (this is what I think I’m not a police nerd)

I think it was just cheaper for them to turn an existing casting into a police car. Eventually some of these became a seperate casting. 🦘👍
