Hey Jason. Been such a long time since I've seen you!!!!!! Great to see you again. But I know a much EASIER WAY TO GET RID OF DUCKWEED. All you need to do is increase the water flow in your tank. And it will all die. I did it and within 2 weeks it was completely GONE. WHEW.
When you run sponges in 100+ tanks that's just not an option lol

Been there, lost interest, got back in when I go visit my sister (she’s got huge tanks everywhere and breeds amazing angelfish) all us fish people need to just stick together and encourage each other. Pro tip, the way to get rid of duckweed - that one token goldfish who moves from tank to tank when it gets bad. They love it.

What if you are trying to cultivate duckweed and you can not get it to grow?
I suggest you sell your water for millions of dollars lol. Some plants just hate some waters very little you can do about it
@@JadrenAquatics Guess my local water is just to hard for it. I can grown some things and my Mollies love it, but duckweed and many other plants just seem to fragile. I have tried 3 times to cultivate it in my tanks and the longest it lasted was a month.

If I had the time .I would redo mine also.
Wishlist;
1.painted garage floors.
2. Mini split heat pump
3.Larger drain pipes .
4.Build a wall with pocket door to keep garage stuff on that side.
5.Air system and automatic water PVC to run parallel to each other.
Oh yeah find more time to do what I love.. Raise Guppies and house plants! 😎

A few questions. Why painted floor wouldn't that make it slick as ice when it gets wet? What's a split heat pump?
Best of luck! One thing to consider with tanks drilled on the bottom, if you get a leak, ALL the water can drain out which could leave your fish dry and wipe out an entire tank. Just make sure you've considered that.
