if Capcom ever decided to remake this series in HD, I can see them using a piece like this. It's so epic, then again Capcom hasn't been that friendly with the Megaman franchise.
People often don't realize it, but Dr. Wily was actually okay with Zero's change of heart. It's elaborated on in some of the peripheral materials. He made peace with it, even took pride in what his creation had become toward the end of the Mega Man X series. At the end of the day, that's what Wily *truly* wanted. He started out wanting to create heroic robots, only going off the rails when circumstances aligned to completely screw him out of that dream. So while this may not be what Zero was built for, he did fulfill Wily's ultimate wish in the end.

Zero had to answer two major life questions for himself, and it gloriously manifested his answers in his final moments. 1. Who am I? 2. What am I fighting for? 1. Who am I? - Zero lost his memory, and Weil tried to make him doubt who he even was. Was he the legendary hero Zero that Ciel talked about? Isn't he just a copy of some legendary hero? Was he just the end product of Dr. Wily's revenge and rage against Dr. Light? Was he just a virus for spreading death? Who is Zero? If Weil could make him believe he is not the true Zero or that he just a maverick, then he's already won. Zero loses his answers to #2, but this is his reply. "I don't recall ever calling myself a hero." To Zero, he realized, whether his body is a fake, whether others LABEL him as a maverick or hero, it didn't even matter. He was someone who fight to protect those who needed him and whom he believed in. Those who believed in him like Ciel. If he stopped fighting like Weil would have wanted, he would have denied himself and allowed Weil to destroy all those he cared about. No, regardless of Weil's twisted words (the term maverick had become twisted from a reploid who goes rogue and harms humans to someone who defies Neo Arcadia and humans, regardless of their intent, good or evil), it didn't matter what Weil called him. It only mattered what those who actually cared about him thought, the ones he wanted to protect. 2. What am I fighting for? - The words he uttered in his absolutely existential breakdown in X4 upon killing the girl he loved. X4 raised the question of "who is deemed a maverick"? Was what Repliforce fighting for maverick? Zero was a maverick hunter, his reason fighting was stop mavericks from harming others and humans. However when even Iris fought him in a desperate battle to stop him from hurting her brother, he started to question his own reason for living and fighting against obstacles. If fighting mavericks meant he had to harm someone he cared about, what was he fighting for in the first place? Wily had always intended for him to be a killing machine, spreading his virus, and taking his revenge on Light. Was that what he was fighting for? No. He started to believe that the only reason for him to live at the moment was to be shut away so he couldn't harm anyone else or be used for such purposes. Upon encountering Copy X, Omega, and Weil years later, it became clear that as long as he lives, despite what he thinks of himself, there are those who need him. Whether he is fighting to destroy mavericks or to save people, in the end, it isn't about labels. If he lost sense of who he was, then he had no reason to fight. Just give up. X and Ciel reminded him in the end, he is Zero, his heart, his determination, and his faith in others, is what really matters. Weil can label him a maverick all he wants by his false sense of justice because Zero can see right through his intentions at this point. In the end, forget Weil's justice. No more hesitating on this question. Weil is an enemy that threatens the existence of the world and his loved ones. He will destroy him. That is what makes him Zero.

His data isn't in his helmet, it's in the crystal in the front, and that's gone, he was salvaged into biometal Z but it wasn't the same zero in the X and zero series
man i loved your channel years ago but i lost it when i had to open a new channel and i just rediscovered it and i love it just as much as i did the first time
Not only that but it shows what he was destined to do, save the world, he gave everything and made a stepping stone for the rest of the world. I've played plenty of games and I see Zero's play style in a lot of them, it felt good to play as Zero like this, to have complete control, to have fast pace action, and to most of all, be the hero capcom needed. He has such a wide fan base that most like myself believe he's repairing himself in a cave somewhere, resting, and waiting for the day he's needed once again. No one could stand up to Zero, not even himself, he's brought us peace time after time and still did not rest until the last flame had been put out. FOR ZERO! THE LEGENDARY REPLOID!
PROTOBLUES90 the only thing i have against certain hero deaths is that they always have cliche "i died from an explosion" kinda end and it just gets old and stale. Honestly I thought he deserved a better death perhaps lol and I believe the same thing just cuz there's almost always a way to replicate him or bring him back, or he can be a cyber elf? if he wants to be, though thats only if there was some way to put X Elf into a reploid body. And then there's biometals. which confuses me. I wanna say they are prob fusion of the parts of the robots (guardians/x/zero) and somehow are made to have consciousness or some kind of programming like that, and maybe infused with some other energy source? I dunno...
drakke125Channel I'd say they usually use such a cliched "died in the explosion" death for most characters because it makes it pretty easy to justify bringing them back, but since most of the cast are freaking robots and thus it's pretty hard to really kill them for good even that justification loses it's validity. There's probably about 50 different ways they could bring Zero and even X back from their "deaths" plus the sequel series is thousands of years in the future so I wouldn't count either of them out yet. If Capcom wants to get off their asses and make use of this franchise again they probably can.
i fail to see the logic of character robots would be hard to be killed for good just because they are robots. bringing heros back and being robots don't exaclty mesh together. they never actually died but were in repairs. also the sequel series were only 100+ years b/w each game series. but ido agree that capcom needs to get off their asses. but i feel like they just ran out of ideas more like. there was an april fools joke on a game introducing pandora and the other guy who's name i dont care for cuz he reminds me of net trolls. and soul eater. that grin. that crazed look. the only direction they Should go is into the future not the past, pandora and the other guy has little to no value whatsoever to appear in later games unless by cameo or security tape.
drakke125Channel It's because they are robots that's it's easy to bring them back. Zero in particular has supposedly "died" several times only to be brought back anyway, because as robots it takes a lot to truly damage them beyond repair, and as long as their consciousness survives in some form or another (which it obviously did otherwise the biometals couldn't have been made) they can always be brought back.
I know it's a bit late but here's the translation for the comment: I was expecting a more electronic guitar-heavy sound, but you took an orchestral approach, which was loaded with the dreadful finality the original themes lacked (considering the outcome of the battle), was packed with energy to just make you feel like jumping up and cutting down a reploid the size of Kansas, all while retaining the emotion that Zero felt as an ultimate weapon for death becoming the perfect tool for salvation!
People talk about how Wily finally made a robot that surpassed any of Light's & the irony of Zero going Maverick to save the world, but I got something else to add: Weil as a character. For ages humans have just watched as robots fought each other, including Light & Wily (the latter sometimes getting involved in the conflict), but then you get Weil, a guy who recreated the original personality of Wily's ultimate creation & corrupted what was essentially an artificial superintelligence to take over the world's robots & have them destroy other robots, leaving only ruins behind. As punishment, the humans decided to curse Weil with immortality by turning him into a regenerating cyborg & banishing him from the only remaining city left on Earth, perhaps never once thinking this would come back to bite them in the ass. Weil himself was even worse than Wily & Sigma; one simply sought to prove to the world that his inventions were better than his rival's; the other wanted robots to take over because of the whole "metal trumps flesh" ordeal; Weil didn't care for EITHER race. He saw humans & robots alike as just slaves for him to use & discard when he wanted (with the exception of Omega, who is said to be the ONE Reploid Weil actually praised), and he was demented enough to not only try & take over the world in its entirety (as in humans AND robots), but then ruin the world's hope of recovery by crashing his own space station on the one piece of nature that was returning to the planet. To say that he was an abomination of a human would be putting it lightly...and it was humankind that caused most of these points about him to form. I think atop of relishing how his ultimate creation finally bested Light's, Wily would be proud of Zero for stopping such a madman like Weil. He may have been crazy, but he only wanted to prove his creations' superiority to everyone, not have them destroyed.
You should have added the dialogue from Rockman zero 4 telos ragnarok Record Final battle , it will be epic with their voice as the subs and the game are the same exact.
Maybe it's just me; but this boss battle, with the countdown and all, is quite intense. I've finished it with 24 seconds left and I was panting like crazy
Weil: One of those enemies you destroyed has been waiting for you for centuries. Too bad you won’t go to the same place that “it” went. Zero: How dare you! Iris is someone I believe in. Weil: You say that now, but you sure wanted it to die. Not to mention X and his children.

His data isn't in his helmet, it's in the crystal in the front, and that's gone, he was salvaged into biometal Z but it wasn't the same zero in the X and zero series
beautiful game, got and beat all of them, Zero lives on!
Zero Is one of the most FUCKING AWESOME CHARACTES EVER!! That speech alone Sold Him.
holy sh*t this was a proper final battle
man i loved your channel years ago but i lost it when i had to open a new channel and i just rediscovered it and i love it just as much as i did the first time
An epic conclusion for the most epic of series, "Whenever an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!"
PROTOBLUES90
the only thing i have against certain hero deaths is that they always have cliche "i died from an explosion" kinda end and it just gets old and stale. Honestly I thought he deserved a better death perhaps lol
and I believe the same thing just cuz there's almost always a way to replicate him or bring him back, or he can be a cyber elf? if he wants to be, though thats only if there was some way to put X Elf into a reploid body.
The most epic ending boss battle.... even more epic with your remix, i can't handle this!
This is so heroic. A true masterpiece.
Very solid remix. It really gives a huge effect to Zero's heroic character.
Absolutely one of my favorite moments in gaming.
I'm gonna be honest, seeing Zero and Ciel's last conversation still hurts...
I agree. Still breaks my heart!
This made me cry when it happened 😢
This theme is god.
My mind is blown, this is freaking amazing
That’s make my heart broken 😔💔
I know it's a bit late but here's the translation for the comment:
I was expecting a more electronic guitar-heavy sound, but you took an orchestral approach, which was loaded with the dreadful finality the original themes lacked (considering the outcome of the battle), was packed with energy to just make you feel like jumping up and cutting down a reploid the size of Kansas, all while retaining the emotion that Zero felt as an ultimate weapon for death becoming the perfect tool for salvation!
OH BOY, THIS, so much win in this, you deserve some fine cookies for this ; u ;
A nice touch to detail, I just noticed the earth gets closer as the time limit runs out.

This is... quite amazing...
I like it a lot!
Eu não sei exatamente o porquê, mas essa track em versão de orquestra fica muito melhor.
My favorite remix
Masterpiece
Maybe it's just me; but this boss battle, with the countdown and all, is quite intense. I've finished it with 24 seconds left and I was panting like crazy
Weil: One of those enemies you destroyed has been waiting for you for centuries. Too bad you won’t go to the same place that “it” went.
Zero: How dare you! Iris is someone I believe in.
Weil: You say that now, but you sure wanted it to die. Not to mention X and his children.
Zeroth law of robotics: *"A robot must not harm humanity, or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm."*
Fantastic! This beats out the original and Mythos versions by far!
HOLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESHIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEET!!!! when weil transformed and the music hit me i was like HHHHOOOOOOOOOLEEEEEEEEEEESHIIIIIET!!! this is truly amazing. i thank you, my good sir. anyway, back to enjoying the remixHOLY-
The tur hero don't forget the mission
Spoiler from idk how much: Zero Will resurrect check it out!! Check the game megaman zero ressurection
Would there happen to be an extended version of this song? This is something I'd listen to during a long boss fight in an mmo, and I'd love to find one that wouldn't stop and loop every four minutes.
Huh I guess I never thought that people would want to listen to it on loop. I'll see what I can do. I'll edit out the beginning to. Remind me this weekend if you could. As a Mechanical Engineering major I'm a busy bee so I forget stuff
***** Wow dude, thanks! I didn't expect you to take the time to go and make an extended version for me like this! I'm gonna be so hyped for raids with this going in the background! XD
Rengrin Mk its at the bottom of the description
***** You're my hero! Thank you so much!
This should be in a Sonic game
Oh my god this makes me want mega man zero resurrection more
Ps its a fangame but it looks dang fine
Pretty epic! Although I do love the version with the bagpipes more (an instrument that seriously needs more love in video game music) This one is more polished in the end.
this is amazing
poor ceil....
well, she found him eventually, and managed to make him and the rest of the guardians into biometal, presumably sealing her soul into Biometal Z, so she and Zero would always be together
Lieutenant Renji Abarai of the 6th Division ..................HECK NO OF COURSE!
Ciel is killed by Serpent!
Susilo Hadi Nugroho well, I never played ZX
Lieutenant Renji Abarai of the 6th Division well, the truth is Serpent betray the first commander of Guardian, or should i say Ciel.so it is possible that Serpent killed Ciel.
I suggest you play with emulator if u can't get the game.
Vent Hikari
And then Zero’s gone by Legends.
This should really get mashed up with the Physis version... it's sorely missing that driving drumbeat in the background.
Godspeed Edgeboy? Wot?
This is the best one I've heard yet!! =D
well have you heard mega man zero2 departure mythose that is the best song
ever
Justin Buckalew or is it?
saint figarland garling
masterpiece
Play this at .75 speed. You're welcome
titus2202 almost fell asleep, how dare you
I think it would have sounded better with both the bagpipes and the choir.
Thank you! I have nerdgasms listening to this!
2:48 👍🏻🎶
I really want another megaman like this on 3ds
I’d like to believe that the destroyed helmet at the end of the video was Omega Zero’s one, not Zero’s helmet. Lol
there was an extended version of this but now i cant find it PLEASE MAKE A NEW EXTENDED VERSION
The final boss the azure striker remind me of weild :'v
I swear that axe is the only good knuckle weapon.
Funny fact : in the manga he still lives.l
Please don't say anything about that terrible manga. The game itself is the real story.
God speed edge boy
very very good
1:48
*I COULD DO THAT!?!?!*
thats what youre supposed to do LOL, the game does a horrible job of communicating it because you're usually not supposed to touch a boss at all
@@youngkappakhan if only I fucking knew that... at least the boss wasn't harder than the time I fought all 3 omega forms using only the bee satellite.
@@maxwell4508 i was playing the game live streaming it to some friends including a few people whod already played the game and told me about this in advance, but if i wasn't i'd have been as surprised as you
4:03
Look at the right near the sun. Could that be Zero? Or Weil even?
