No!!! I can't believe they modernized this elevator! I filmed this in 2013 and this was an awesome elevator! I can't believe the redid the whole cab. In my opinion, Kone did do a good job on the modernization but I don't the decision made to modernize the elevator.

What did they do to the freight elevator?

  • @shmulstvgone3169

They did something similar to JCPenney Westfield Meriden... It had a Dover hydraulic elevator and KONE modernized it, and replaced the pump not making it traction...

@David Ng - KONE did quit making hydros for new installs back in 2007, but they still do hydro modernizations to this day.

@@Ih8kone - SUE L&T for modding their elevator? I've never heard anything more ridiculous in my life. They didn't break any *actual* laws. And besides you being super triggered, you haven't been negatively affected, so there is no reason to sue them. Get a reality check, buddy.

Kicking the elevator could be seen as intentional damage of property (which is a crime) and they could *actually* sue you for that. So don't go around saying they should be sued, and then suggest that I go to this store (hundreds of miles from where I live) and commit an illegal act.
