I think the contrast in ppl behind him carrying on smiling & laughing while this guy is totally broken inside trying with all his might to not cry. Its like life. There are ppl who are so broken and hurt but you wouldnt no it or care too notice
Can you imagine being live for such a performance and only having the mental ability to giggle with your co-worker. The only thing that would make this video better would have been a full on Chimpanzee attack on the employees in the background.
So DEEP. You can feel the emotion in every word. We all have that one person that made us feel exactly like this. The one that got away. The one that will forever mean something even though life goes on. Thanks James for the the feels.
Got to admit I was sceptical about this version after seeing he was using keyboard, but my god he smashed it. One of the best even. 15 years on and he still sings it with the same emotion & passion as ever. LEGEND.
Oh wow. I not really a James blunt fan but I do love any singer who can make me believe what they are singing. This performance was extraordinary. I just wanted to hold him, it’s like he is grieving. Well done James.
It’s so sad because you can tell how much this song means to him. Every time he performs it, he is welling up with tears by the end😔
