@user-fm5xp1tl4qThere's a very tiny dip but it's hardly noticeable, I find for aggressive acceleration you want to be above 6k rpm anyways, so you're better off just downshifting to get the revs up. It definitely gets buzzy, I'd say more from 10-12k rpm though. I would think an aftermarket exhaust would change this(Mine is still stock so I can't say for sure) I'd say it's a 'beginners' bike if you're a competent and responsible person, it's a rocket of a bike for a 650 in my opinion but like any I4, it's not a torque monster. It's very tame under 6k rpm, which is good for a beginner rider like I was. It won't lift the front wheel unless you're really trying.
Covid f upd my budget otherwise i would have had this beautiful machine in my house. Gonna work my ass off to buy this. I am gonna keep it as long as I can and Honda's reliability is best in the business. Congratulations to you. Ride safe

Did you put the Zoom underneath the passenger seat? It captures the sound quite well but there is some rattling noise here and there. I myself have the Zoom H1N and I had really good results putting it underneath the seat and wrap it between sponges or something, so it doesn't wiggle around. Anyway, great quality, love the video quality of the Hero 9, really fantastic.
Sound is allright, good be richer in the recording. Bike wise, the leovince pro & akrapovic exhaust both sound great on this bike. Everyone goes for the Akra or the SC project, but I think the Leo sounds better.
I’d go akropovic because you get more performance, which matters considering this is a slower bike than sports bikes. Still pops and crackles fyi 🔥 i have one

i was looking at one of these but i dont know how they would go on 5 to 8 hour rides here in australia i heard the seat is hard but thats an easy fix and i can find a throttle lock and a neat little fairing to stop the air whistle noise from the dash and to protect the dash from birds or rocks when i go on charity rides they are often with hundreds of harleys and stuff and it goes all day long my current bike is a yamaha v star 650 classic but it hurts my upper back and it is abit slow
If it was me, I wouldn't buy this bike if you regularly ride 5 to 8 hours. The riding position for me at least can get a bit tiring for longer rides. But it certainly isn't slow ;)
@@BikePOVs i am struggleing to find a good bike that has plenty of power and can do long rides for the price of the cb650 Did think about handel bar raisers and highway pegs and a fairing for the front
@@kevincrockett5155 vulcan s sounds like a fat dude farting in a chocolate bath and z900 rs is like 18k paird to the cb650r being 12k but another bike i found is the CFMoto 800mt it uses the KTM 790 engine and is built to the same standards as KTM if not better the bike has seen massive trips all over the world and no one has any issues with them apart from silly things like the quick shifter needing adjustments and it has cruise control heated grips and seat and 2 riding modes ABS comes with all the addons you could want like crash bars spot lights wind shield and everything for your adventures and its only 14k brand new here 2k more then a cb650r
