I like the broadway version of the song but the "first" draft of the song is a LOT more contemporary, kind of sassy even, the tone is totally different from the broadway version of burn. Its what I think would have been an interesting choice because its a lot more confrontational like singing the song TO Hamilton in the room, more conversational like what a modern woman would convey the emotion to a man in the same circumstance. In the end the broadway version was the safer choice and perhaps the most appropriate. This is the version that didn't make it into the broadway musical all the ladies singing played Eliza in the musical -ruclips.net/video/r2ys-AimNbE/видео.html
