In this video I'm breaking down how to run one of the best off meta offenses in Madden 23 using the Gun Split Close formation out of the 49ers Playbook
This has been great for me and I was also able to scheme up some chunk plays using both bunch sets and gun tight. It does take HRM and SIE in all wr’s and te so it does take a more expensive be lineup. But so far this week in mug champs I’ve gone 17-4 using it.

The reason the db plays the wheel is because if they shad down the man coverage will play underneath very aggressive i do the same wheel route concept out of other formations good video
Thats great comms wasn't really sure why it was happening because shade down with no safety help is rare but in that case putting a streak out there or even motioning out the hot routed wheel would be a solid counter
FB inside is a really good run vs Dollar 3-2 I’d start with that but obviously sheds are insane. Passing wise streaking your slot receivers can get you some solid gains that’s the main weakness of the defense up the middle. Lastly pay attention to the depth of the flat zone defenders if they’re playing shallow you can throw the corner of your deep hammer the wheel route
Go to MUT practice mode, press pause then go to controller select, turn on your second controller nad you should be able to select the other team. After I play you should be able to control both teams
the problem with this formation is that you’re sending 5 routes out so the blocking isn’t goin to be very good, so if your opponent is sending a blitz it’s goin scream
Videos like this really make the game stale. I get that it's content but highlighting shit like this just makes everyone who shouldn't even be playing Madden in the first place feel like they're good.

How do you get the out routes so deep
It’s a stock route in the 49ers HB Rail. You can find it in some other formations as well

Close Pro is a slightly different formation the only playbooks with regular Split Close are 49ers Jets and Dolphins
